This was a complete waste of money. It is junk and broke on me the first day. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PS2 Controller, buy the WiFi Logitech one instead.
Great so far.......2007-01-11
I got this for my son for christmas and it has played some hard games with him. He is on the ruff side and thinks that the harder you hit the buttons the better. I realize that it hasn't been but a few days but he likes it and it is holding up so far.
Short Life Span.......2007-01-10
I loved this product when I first got it. I used it daily and loved the freedom. But shortly after my dear daughter spilled nail polish remover all over it and it has since died. I would definately recommend this product, it is great. Just keep it away from liquids.
Controller has a mind of its own........2007-01-04
This controller develops a memory of its own. During gameplay it will press buttons for you that you are not programmed. Even when you clear the memory it still presses undesired buttons. This is especially frustrating when in difficult levels without save points. On two ocassions it made my Playstaion 2 crash.
A decent controller.......2006-03-05
Played many hours of RPGs on this controller. The X button finally gave way after countless hours of gameplay and use. Controller is well built and strudy. A little large, but better for larger hands. Turbo functions come in handle to scroll past text already read. Not a bad controller to get.

First turbo controller for the PS3.......2007-08-21
So my first impression of this controller was that it feels cheap. The plastic housing just feels light and cheap, not at all like the Sony controller.
This unit also doesn't include bluetooth, so you loose the ability to power on your PS3 like you have on the normal controller.
It works a lot like the PS2 wireless controllers in that you plug in a USB wireless transmitter into the PS3 and play through that.
It does have several nice options. The turbo selector allows 3 different rates of fire, along with the option to have auto fire where you don't even have to press the button. That is a great option for any shooter. There is also a sensitivity adjustment for the analog control sticks. I also really like that it uses AA batteries since I have a good supply of rechargeable batteries.
But my first big issue is that it doesn't appear to work on PS2 or PS1 games. Pretty much any time the PS3 does the soft reset to start those games the controller looses sync. It works just fine with any game that doesn't involve that reset (PS3 games, or anything downloaded from PSN).
So if you just need a turbo controller for PS3 or PSN games, this is about your only choice. But don't expect to use it on any of your older games. Since this does everything but older games and feels cheap, I had to give it 4 stars. It's good, but not perfect.

Shame on them........2007-07-24
The housing, dowels, seams, gimbals--even the cord and its sheath--are so cheap and shoddy it's criminal. They should be publicly scorned and exposed for the brazen and wanton way they've completely disregarded any pride in workmanship. What is more, they have redefined bottom-line, short-sighted, corporate greed where customer satisfaction is, "Let them eat cake."
Shame on them for their company's ape-like product and concern.
Oh yeah, and dang thing had broken little pieces of plastic floating around loose inside after second use.
Wouldn't be my first choice in future, I guess.

i would'nt advise purchasing this controller. Like all things now a days it's made in china while that's not the draw back feature of this device the cheap construction and weak durabilty of it is. after just a few hours out of the box the thumb controls begain to go bad. eventually causingme to toss this $15.00 + S/H in the trash bin.

Exactly What I Needed.......2005-07-15
This tv is exactly what I needed. I purchased it for an exercise room/office. I can use it as a monitor and/or as a tv, so it saves me some space. It is also light, and the cable outlets, etc are all on the sides and the bottom, so wall-mounting would not be a problem.
The picture quality is great head-on, and from the sides as well. Looking up, though, it is terrible - so don't hang it too high on the wall.
The sound quality is fantastic. I hardly have to turn up the tv to hear it when I'm on the noisy treadmill across the room.
The picture in picture feature enables you to work on the computer and watch tv. This is one of the few features, however. It is definitely not a feature-rich item. If you want a lot of features - purchase a dedicated tv or monitor - not a combination like this one.
The manual was not very helpful, but that's alright because everything is pretty straightforward. And, the remote is just a standard remote - not too big or too small.
Overall - I am thrilled with this purchase. It was exactly what I needed!
