I use this for resistance fall of man for ps3 and it works fine they can hear me clearly and i can hear them clearly as well its simple to set up sometime u dont even need to set it up since it detects the mic right away.FINALLY I CAN TALK TRASH LOL

It's great not having to hold onto a microphone to play the PS2 games I like, don't get me wrong. The problem is, if you want to pass the mic, it's not so easy, and if you get intense, it's all sweaty for whomever wants to put it on their head next. For some reason, the sound quality of voices through the set are distorted and a little flaky when speaking loudly.

It's ok...not great, but ok.

No Frills.......2007-09-03

The headset is okay, but not great. On the plus side I do like the long cord (apx 10') and the colored LED mute indicator (blue when live, red when muted) to remind you if you're live or not. However on the other hand, the headset is not that comfortable. The part that goes over my head just doesnt seem to fit me very well. The volume also is just never loud enough. I keep it all the way up and I can still barely hear anyone.

Below average quality headset and microphone.......2007-08-14

I picked this up today based on the reviews here that stated it has an inline mute and volume switches. I noticed the packaging says it doesn't but I figured maybe it just wasn't listed. Well the packaging was correct the Logitech USB Headset for PS2 does not have a mute button or volume control. Not only that it is extremely load when plugged into the PS2 so I can't understand this design oversight.

Other things I've noticed based on trying a number of headsets over the past few days is that the headset and microphone quality is below average. It's basically passable for voice chat through the PS2, but you wouldn't want to listen to music through this thing as it sounds horrible. The microphone is also sub par, but that could be because I was listening to it through the headset.

It does come with three different ear piece covers, but once you take one off it's nearly impossible to get another one on. It took me over 5 minutes to switch the ear piece covers.

There are some pluses:
- The whole thing is comfortable to wear and having different ear piece covers (though hard to swap) is nice.
- The 10 foot cable
- Works on a PC (though it's not good for much more than chatting)
- Seems pretty sturdy from the 5 minutes I was tearing at the thing trying to switch covers.

Overall though I don't recommend it. The lack of a mute button I could forgive, but the lack of a volume control is inexcusable, especially for the price this thing costs.

Excellent, a must buy........2007-07-14

I bought this thinking it was the exact headset I've had for 2 years now. However, whenI opened the box i was pleasently surprised! The new design forms to your head so no longer does the microphone slip of in the middle of the game. The headset comes with 3 removeable and interchangeable earpieces: one leather "squishy" one, one regular foam, and one velvet one. I prefer the foam one because the others apply too much pressure to my ear and it causes pain. The only negative thing i have to say about this product is that the earpieces take forever to interchange!!! Other than that i give this product a 10/10. By the way, I have not played any other game with this headset besides Socom: Combined Assault. I'm interested to see if it actually works on PS3 games as per the packaging.

I bought an USB Headset from this seller, and it came damaged, I left the country and din't try it untill I arrived to Honduras, I was very mad, 'cause it has warranty but sendin back the item from Honduras to the United states is more expensive than the refund amount! They understood the situation and even in that case gave me the refund!! Anyway it was the first time I dealed with the seller,had a trouble but I'm very satisfied with the solution!! Works well only if your computers are not too far away.......2000-10-14

It works barely okay for me the first 2 months. I linked it with 2 computers, one's upstairs, one's downstairs (only 80 ft apart). During those two months. 25% of the time, the computer that is not directly connected to my cable modem does not detect the network at all. after 2 months, it totally down. But when I used this phoneline kits to link 2 PCs side by side, it's working fine. I tried to contact 3com, they don't know why so far. I purcharsed phoneline kit for a reason.
