i take mine to work ,sometimes i use it at home but i bought it to take to work,sundays are allway very slow and i need something to pass the time,the picture is not the greates ,the sound is real low,i use a small set of speakers hooked up to me dvd player,its OK for what i use it forif you are looking for a flat screen TV to use all of the time this is not it,you can do better....ron

I use this monitor at work from time to time, does all that is necessary for a workstation type situation, but is not one that will please gamers and heavy users of the computer/internet. It is minimally adjustable (change angle of tilt), but no height adjustment here are the simple specifications

maximum 1024 x 768 resolution
Wide 130 degree viewing angles
450:1 contrast ratio

Should work good in a professional business environment, but less for home needs. Good price also.

If you want a simple device that just plays music, then the Ipod Mini is a great buy which you can pick up on Ebay now for Under $100.00 that can hold 1000 songs.
Thanks to the constant improvements with the endless Ipods, prices have dropped dramatically. If though your interested in video at all I would pass this device up and buy the video ipod.

Mine only lasted a year and five months.......2007-09-03

I loved my iPod mini. But it broke only a year and five months after purchase. Since it was out of the warranty period, Apple refused to do anything about it. Many other Mini owners had the same problem occurring at the same time, but Apple refused to acknowledge that these particular models might be lemons.

Buyer beware! They are great machines, but only last a year or so on average.

A Piece of Garbage.......2007-03-09

This was the worst electronics puchase I've ever made. When I first got the mini it was great, looked nice and sounded great. Within about 6 months battery life started to go way down, after a year it was down to nothing, didn't work properly, would show a full charge and not last more than 20 minutes. If you're going to take a chance on an iPod, definitely get a newer different model that may be of better quality than this one.

Apple 4GB Mini is OK.......2007-02-23

This MP3 player is a good basic unit. The controls are a bit touchy. You have to get the hang of skimming you finger around the touch circle. You also have to remeber to lock the controls while you are listening, or a slight brush on the control surface will change settings. The iTunes software is nice. The autosynch feature is easy to use. Overall, a good unit for the price.
