I have search all over looking for a holder that worked well in my truck. This fits perfect in the extra cup holder and is just high enogh for me to see the phone without causing a problem. I like the fact it is solid and the neck is flexible for the phone. It also came with the optional mount for the XM/Sirrus Radio which is a bonus for those who have it.

Arkon Universal Vent Mount PDA Kit features Arkon's new "side-grip" universal PDA cradle and a convenient vent mount assembly designed to securely mount your PDA at fingertips reach. This solution is most commonly used in conjunction with popular GPS navigation solutions. There are very few vehicles that have vents not compatible with the vent mount assembly that comes in the CM629. As a rule of thumb, it will work with ALL vent louvers that are horizontal. It will not work with any of the cars having vertical vent louvers such as most Pontiacs and a few others.

An Excellent PDA Vent Mount.......2006-08-19

I have a vent mounted holder for an older iPAQ that has worked flawlessly for five years.

I bought a new iPAQ for my wife along with a Gomadic holder. I spent 20 minutes trying to install it (I can install and remove my old one in seconds). As an engineer and being mechanically inclined, I felt this design was flawed. After I finally had it in place and made a final tweak to adjust its position, one of the spring loaded clips fell apart into the vent duct. Of course Gomadic didn't supply extra clips, so I contacted them for more. They sent me two new clips and wished me luck, but recommended I buy their gooseneck mount with a suction cup for the windshield (if I had wanted a windshield mount, I would have bought one). As you might imagine, the new clips didn't work either. Both springloaded clips ended up flying apart into the vent.

Rather than waste any more time with Gomadic, I purchased an ARKON CM629. It took me less than a minute to assemble and install, and I couldn't be happier. Aesthetically, I think the ARKON is nicer as well.

Bottom feet block both ports on iPOD Nano 2G.......2007-04-05

I received this product shipped from "The Mount Guys" in NJ. Neither invoice nor any instructions were included. All indicated parts were shipped OK. I managed to install the unit OK, but found that the bottom feet blocked both ports on my 2G Nano. You have to workaround this by positioning Nano higher in the cradle for power/headphone cords to clear the base. Not really designed for Nano 2G, but it works.

It is very sturdy and was quite easy to install. Some others have mentioned it is hard to move once it's installed, but the instructions warn you about this. And my biggest worry was that it would totally block the vent. It didn't. Great product.

I'm using this product with my Dopod 838 Pro which I use for GPS navigation and it fits my cellphone quite well. I mounted it on the center dash vent and I've never had a problem with it since. This is a great product with a great price. Highly recommended

Good, strong, sturdy, solid product. Also versatile as it allows you to mount your pda in more than one way! Shakes a bit when its attached to the windshield, but that is acceptable and understandable. Otherwise, no problems at all.

Unused phone mount.......2007-07-25

Never had a chance to use the item, it was only 1/2 of the two products I ordered. The other product, which was GPS software for the PDA, never was delivered. If I could write a very negative review for that company >>> WholeSaleAV < < < I would. Had they been honest from the get-go, I would have ordered the software from a company that had it in stock. And when I went on my trip, I would have been in good shape, saving hours of time, and a lot of gas. >>> WholeSaleAV probably cost me $150 in gas & lodging, not to mention time; neither they nor Amazon did anything for their screw-up. Perfect for the larger MP3 players.......2007-07-16

I purchased this for my 60GB Zen Vision: M and it works great. I have at least 3 that fit my boyfriends 30GB, but finding one that would fit my slightly larger 60 was difficult to say the least. Several say that they will, but are just slightly too small. This one did the trick. Plus, I REFUSE to stick anything to my dash, so the suction cup is great stuck to the windshield. The only downfall with this method is that if it sits in the sun all day while I'm in the office, it is overheated at the end of the day when I go to leave, too long sitting in the sun. But the device itself works perfectly for what I wanted.

I own this car mount holder and it is great. It can act as either windshield mount or vent mount, and it holds PDA/MP3/Phone/iPOD very tight without slipping.

I personally don't suggest Casio camera. My experience is very bad with this. It can simply work in good lighting for still photographs.

Movies quality is really pathetic.
There is no socket for AV out.
There is no provision for datetime stamp on photograph.

Not really worth.
