Why does it seem that the LOUDEST people think the least? THe HOLD switch should be on every walkman. Just use it religiously and you will never drain your batteries or switch stations in the middle of a work out. Digital tuning is a personal requirement and TV is a cool feature. I'm less impressed with the durability. I go through these every year or so, but I take it to the beach a lot. Headphones mediocre, so I use my own, so with the right EQ setting it sounds great.

Good sound and I like the presetting of the stations. The on/off switch does get annoying when I change from FM back to AM, because when you press the button from FM, it goes to OFF and you must press ON again. The am reception was a problem while driving.

This walkman features a hold switch. When the switch is activated none of the buttons including the On switch are functional. It is great to use while running or during any activity to stop against switching stations accidentaly. The sound is very good and the walkman is easy for anyone to program.

Don't buy this.......1999-12-15

I had this tape player for about a month before it stopped working. The radio part still works, but it will no longer play tapes. I suggest you find another walkman that is of better quality, because frankly I think this one is a piece of junk.

I bought this portable to use at the gym. It works great. There is now a HOLD button that when on does not allow accidental turning on of the unit and draining of batteries. I love the TV channels. The belt clip holds very well, even on the bottom of my workout shorts, upside down! . Very light and convienent for the gym. Great product.

Ok for beginners...it's the Hyundai of digital cameras........2003-05-28

This was my first ever digital camera and once I had it out a couple of hours and found myself looking for more batteries! Operation is very simple and easy to use. However, it comes with the smallest available memory card and I suggest buying a 128mb card...Well worth the money for extended (more than 12) hi-res pictures. At this point, my LED stopped working. The cost is almost as much as the camera, so, I'm buying a new Fugi 5.0 mega pixel. The image quality difference is mind-blowing. Spend the extra money and buy at least a 2.0 mega pixel camera with the extra toys that don't come with the cheaper cameras. If the camera doesn't come with the AC-adapter for home or the additional battery pack keep looking for one that does. The alternative is pulling a wagon behind you full of batteries.

Great for Thais-- Not for English Speakers.......2006-10-23

I bought this hoping it would help me learn the Thai language. I was very disappointed.
CyberDict VIII has many kinds dictionaries installed on it. It gives you the option of searching for English, Thai, or Chinese words. You could easily switch from one mode to any other. ie. You look up the English translation of a Thai word. Then, switch to the Chinese translation.
Moreover, it plays MP3's, displays pictures, and records your voice. All of which, must be saved on SD cards (standard memory cards). Unlike other talking dictionaries, it allows you to use two SD cards at the same time.
The Cyberdict talking dictionaries are geared for Thai people trying to speak and understand English. Very few Thai words or phrases have audio for them. But, most English words have audio. The Cyberdict dictionaries also has many games and programs on it for learning English. Even the operating manual is is Thai (An English translation of the manual can be purchase for about $15.00).
This product is not for me. Though, if I was a Thai person trying to learn English or a Thai person in need of an easy to use and effective talking dictionary, then I would have loved this product.
