Not bad.......2006-07-29

Great price but the changing channels on the remote control seems slow. Also the remote control strength seems to be very weak even after I changed the batteries. Also the uasability of changing channels is not great. I am using this in the kitchen and it does the job it is also nice to have the built in DVD player so I get to have a DVD player in my kitchen with out taking up more counter space. Also sometime the TV does not work and needs to be "rebooted" unplugged from the outlet.

Bottom line is it is a good choice if you don't mind the inconviences and don't want to spend alot of money otherwise I would not recommend it.

After 6 months of using this product I still enjoy the look of it and the quality of image, as well as the possibility of watching dvd, vcd, cable and antenna tv, and even listening to cds on it. It's true that the sound quality and volume are not great, but for a bedroom or kitchen tv the product does just fine. The remote isn't bad at all, lots of functions, settings angles, zoom, etc, all is there, in a card like format, light and it even comes with colors to help identify functions. I have played many dvd formats, including computer burnt stuff, most of them work here, which is a plus for this unit. Overall I'm happy with the product.

Buyer beware!.......2006-01-17

Thought I got a great deal on this unit for under $300 brand new at a local electronics-chain store. Setup the unit, everything seemed fine after a DVD test drive. I got the cable run and the TV quality was poor, but it was expected for this no frills system. Connected a set of headphones into the headphone jack and that was the end of it. No sound at all (either headphone or built-in speakers). The remote is also terrible...no range and you must be directly in front of the unit for it to respond. Audiovox support is of no help.

If you are looking for hdtv quality, forget about this one! Can pick up the signal with a cable box, then shrinks the picture. No expandable screen feature. Lacks useful features to compensate. Picture quality is decent in digital tv mode. Unit is compact. Good enough for a small computer monitor with adapter cable included. Thats about it.Also must use 1/4 in. stereo phono plug in HD mode to hear sound.

I bought this at a retail location, was told it was an 'entry level' LCD and was the lowest priced 15" w/HDTV compatibility. I did not notice any significant differences in the picture quality or features from any of the other similar brands also on display.

I have it for about a month already, the picture quality is sharp, it was easy to set up for HD reception on DirecTV, and I am a happy camper. This set is definitely a great value and a giant leap ahead of the tube TV it replaced.

It also has a 12 month parts and labor warranty, as best as I can remember all of the other name brands came with only a 90 day warranty. Recommended with NO reservations.

Fantastic, fast response.......2006-03-24

We've had two of these monitors in our design studio for over a year now, and I have no complaints. The image quality is fantastic, both in range of colors and in sharpness. We continually run them at 1600x1200 from a professional graphics card and I have not experienced at all the problems that the previous reviewer mentioned. They get very slight color miscalibrations after three months or so--as will happen to any monitor--but with some color calibration tools they get back on track immediately.

A serious monitor if you do any type of work that needs graphics performance.

Good looks, poor performance.......2005-12-15

Purchased ViewSonic G90fb 19" CRT based on other reviews. Much to my surprise this 'Graphics Series' monitor does not perform as expected. Monitor brightness varies depending on the windows that are open on the screen - when there is a large white window open (i.e. My Computer) the screen darkens and shrinks about 1 mm on all sides. When the white window is resized or minimized, the whole screen visibly lightens and expands. After spending two months back-and-forth with ViewSonic customer support, and exchanging the original unit for a replacement which has the same problem, it was determined by a VS engineer that this performance is within the model specifications. Bottom line: it is OK to use the G90f series for office work and email, but serious graphic users should explore other options.

I got these binoculars and the image was clear and crisp. I was very impressed with the zoom distance, and still being so clear. This is a top of the line binocular and very worth the price.

The binoculars come with a carrying case, protective lens covers, and a strap. These are easy to use, but a tripod is recommended.

I bought these binoculars about a month ago because I wanted something really powerful/top of the line that could be used with basically doing anything. These things are SO powerful that it's scary. We went to a concert last week and were wayyyy far away from the stage. We used the zoom on these to the 22 mark and it was TOO close!

These are very high quality binoculars and are a pretty good weight. They come with a soft case and covers for the lenses and eyepiece, and a tripod mount. There is a small lever on the right eye piece that you can ease left to right in order to take advantage of the 10-22 zoom. Because the diameter of the lenses is 50, these binoculars allow a good deal of light to come in so that you will see a bright, crisp image.

If you are into star-gazing then you are going to need a tripod. Nothing expensive, just something to steady the binoculars so that you won't be struggling to hold them completely still in your hands. When you're that close with the zoom you're going to need it.

The Nikon Action was my first pair of binocular's. After researching for hours I purchase these and they worked great. You can use the 10X zoom to look for objects like bear, dear, birds, etc. and then zoom in with 22X zoom. The lens are pretty clear. Very satisfied.

These are no ordinary binoculars. They are a miracle. They exceeded my expectations and I am proud to own them now.

Its usable right out of the box. The controls are very easy to use, even my 4 year old son knows how to focus the binoculars. You can keep the zoom level at 10X for most viewing. When you really want to zoom in, the binoculars provide upto 22X zoom by just sliding a lever. At 22X zoom, you need steady hands or a tripod to view appropriately. The 10X zoom is more than sufficient for exploring the distant objects around you.

For starters, when you buy a binocular, you need to consider two aspects. The binoculars are usually represented in the format A X B where A is the magnification and B is the diameter of the front lens in millimeters. The more the better for both A and B.

This Nikon binocular is capable of magnifications ranging from 10 to 22. The front lens is 50 mm which is more than sufficient for everyday daylight and night viewing.

The Nikon lens are world-class providing crystal clear view. At night I focussed on the moon and could see the mountains on the moon very clearly.

Overall I would definitely recommend this product for everyone. Even adults who think that binoculars are for children must try this product as it will amaze them. Not to speak of teens who will marvel their "birds" in close-up!!!
