Bought the phone to use the mute feature (not very common anymore), but static and background noise is a little too distracting. Probably will return for a refund.

This phone offer mediocre sound quality. I sometimes could hear static on the phone at the far end of our 2 story house. I had the base station positioned in a downstairs office. I called Uniden for support because I could not figure out how to shut the ringer. After waiting on hold for an interminable period of time I come to find out that there is no way to shut the ringer off. That really ... and I guess this phone is for people who like to be awakened at anytime of the day or night. Look around and spend a little more money. In the end you will be glad you did.

Disappointed.......2001-09-08

I expected great things with this phone but when I first start using it in the day, I get static. I would like to send it back and will try to do so. I don't know what I could be doing wrong but I really don't like it.

Too much echo.......2001-08-29

This is a pretty good phone. I Liked its style and weight, and it was comfortable to hold and use. The buttons were clear and had a good positive feel. The sound was clear and static free, but I got a slight echo of my voice when I spoke. Sound from the other end was fine. I asked a friend on the other end if they heard the echo and they did, but they said it wasn't too bad. You kind of get used to it, but it's not like talking on a corded phone. I had an old AT&T cordless phone pre 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz and it sounded fine (like a corded phone). I think I should be able to do better with the new technology, so I'm returning the phone to try something else.

Somewhat Disappointing Phone.......2001-07-16

I received my Uniden TRU341 2.4GHz Cordless Phone, and I am rather disappointed in it! I do like the way the handset sits upright in the base. That makes the phone easier to answer, and it looks neat. However, I already had a Uniden TRU241 2.4 GHz Cordless Phone with Caller ID, and I have always loved it. I thought Uniden was just about the best name when it comes to cordless phones. However, with my 341, the sound is not as clear, and there is somewhat of an echo. I am returning this phone, because it has failed to meet my expectations.

Canon Sure Shot-can do better.......2007-07-03

I purcahsed this camera a year ago. I have been continuously disappointed in it. The picture quality is far from impressive. Its easy to use and thats about the best I can say about it.

my camera was great - although it was a little tricky to learn how to take spontaneous photos. but once i got the hang of it i loved it. unfortunately, it died literally just 3 days after the 1-year warranty ended. i sent it back to be repaired and was distressed when i got a reconditioned camera in return - a different model entirely - because a sticker said that my camera was 'unable to be repaired.' it was a shame that a camera that cost $90 only lasted a year and that canon can't repair its own products!! i loved my camera and wish it lasted longer!

Get a Nikon.......2004-03-23

Received this as a gift. Ran about 5 rolls of film through it. It took decent pictures. Nothing to write home about. Then the lcd stopped working. Canon fixed it under warranty quickly and with no problems. The camera frequently has trouble focusing on subjects. So...good customer support, but only so so operation and pictures.

I had my doubts at first. How can a camera do so much and be so cheap?....When the camera arrived I began to play with it and discovered the following:

Batteries last a long time
Images are Great using the Normal Lens Setting, when the zoom is used, you can see a tiny amount of distortion because I can't keep the Camera Still enough.
The Reocrding Feature acts just like a Video Camera!, Even the Playback
Sounds and Notes can be recorded

I Could go on for hours but I would purchase this Camera Agagin in a second!. Its a GREAT BUY for what you get in return. The Ulead Photo Software is VERY IMPRESSIVE and easy to work with. Go Ahead and take the plunge, you won't be dissapointed with this TINY CAMERA with a BIG PUNCH
