Questionable reliability.......2007-05-08

I purchased two UPS. One failed during the first week. Made a loud pop sound and smelled the good old burn electronics smell. I'm getting it replaced now. Generally I've found APC to be a very good company. I guess some early field failures are to be expected. Should there be other reports such as mine I would suspect that the product has faults.

Nice, 4 outlets, very compact for small areas and modest usage. I bought it for my wife's computerized Bernina sewing machine and the laptop she attaches to it. Just right and great price.

Didn't last........2007-01-15

Easy to hook up. No software necessary. Worked great for almost 4 months.
Then, battery apparently died. Replacement battery appears to cost more than a new unit, if you can ever figure out what battery it takes.
Warranty requires the whole unit be sent to APC, which would be costly due to the weight. I'm going to try a Belkin next time.

Good Deal!!!.......2005-10-04

Order this to try and save on money since I didnt need a whole lot of outlets, I pluged my computer to it and TV. On a full battery It was able to run for about 5-10mins with my 32' CRT tv and 19' LCD monitor + comp. Good enough for me to power down the computer, would last longer if the TV was off im sure.

This is an adaptor that is used with the AmbiCom wireless printer adaptor for EASY and relatively inexpensive wireless printing. The wireless printer adaptor comes with one of these slave adaptors for use on one computer. Buy this slave adaptor if you already have the AmbiCom wireless printer adaptor and want to connect more than the one computer to your printer. Remarkably Good System for the Price.......2007-09-04

When they first came out, audio magazines compared the Ensemble speakers from Kloss to systems costing over $1,500. (And that was the stereo version of Ensemble II, not the 5.1 surround version that includes extra satellites and a center speaker). Simply put, it's an excellent sounding system with deep (but not boomy fake) lows and excellent highs that never sound shrill. String instruments and orchestras sound great on these. The subwoofer has what it takes to make home theatre exciting (or make the canons really roar in the 1812 overture). They're among the best you can find at this price point.
