this isn't what ul espect, the buttons on this controller and hard, you realy have to press them realy hard, and if your planing to get 2 of this controllers to play online DONT...
when you have 2 controllers conected at the same time, they work good but when u turn on the headset it works ok, but when u turn 2 of them on, theres a problem the mics get cracy and it botters the other players and it keeps making noise....

dont gett them i bought 2 of them i i compleatly regret getting them...

I needed another XBox controller, and thought, hey, rather than spend $25 on a corded one, I'll just spend DOUBLE that, and get one with voice built in. I've got the Halo2 headset from Plantronics (highly recommended) and it'll plug right into this controller without the XBox live voice adapter.

Well, that's where the good impression ended. First of all, it's smaller (or more cramped) than the XBox S controller. The control is somewhere between horrible and miserable. Specifically, the 'dead zone' on it is as big as a moose head. The dead zone is how far you have to move the analog sticks to get them to 'engage' or start inputting control. Also, the tension on the analog sticks is so high that by the time you start to engage, you're pushing so hard on the stick that the tiny input you meant to make is now a wide-sweeping arc.

Well, I thought, I'll just lower the sensitivity in-game, and be ready to rock. Even on sensitivity 1 in Halo2 (the lowest you can set), it's impossible to make anything other than huge targetting changes. Forget sniping with it. Not gonna happen.

The turbo feature is not terrible, though it's a fixed rate, so you end up turning it on and off depending on what weapon you've got.

The voice quality is almost passable... almost. And that's when it's working well. Most of the time it's just a lot of white-noise in your ear. Oh, and when you have to reset it because you're no longer receiving voice signal, your entire controller seizes up until it re-syncs (roughly 5-10 seconds). I'm sure your opponents will be happy not to shoot you while you wait.

The previous reviewer of this product is right about the button response. You have to practically put your shoulder into pushing the A/B/X/Y buttons to get them to respond. It's not a defective controller, it's a flawed design.

Intec should be ashamed of themselves for taking my $50 for this POS. And Toys R Us should be embarrassed for carrying it (though that's all they're selling anymore. the markup must be better, because you can't get official controllers from TRU anymore).

I had hoped it would be more like the Wavebird from Nintendo. Now that's a wireless controller. Obviously there is no voice support, and it's for Gamecube only, but Intec could learn something about wireless controller design by just buying and playing with them. They feel like official controllers, the response is lightning quick, you don't have to 'sync' to anything, and the batteries last weeks or months with heavy use.

It's the first and last Intec product I'll ever buy. They'll never read this, but they could learn a lot about designing products by hiring people who actually play games. No gamer would ever have signed off on a product like this.

VERY POOR PRODUCT.......2005-08-25

I got this about 2 months ago,plug it in, terrible. The sound was scratchy the response on hitting buttons was very bad.

I immediatly send it out for a replacement one to Intec. It took till today to get here,remember thats 2 months,when I was promised 2-6 days for arrival.

I try to use it now,AND ITS JUST AS CRAPPY. I am not being to harsh, I attempted to go on XBLive and talk to my friends,and they couldnt understand a word. I tried swapping it out with my sisters xbox,and just as bad.Im using new Duracell batteries,so that cant be the problem,the two test systems I used it on are under a year old.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I should have taken the $50 I spent total on this,and bought a wireless headset.

could of done better.......2006-01-29

I purchased the drive, but should of done better research before making the plunge. The drive lacks SATA 2.0 standards, such as 3.0 GB/s and has a small 8mb cache. If you must buy Seagate look for the designation of 7200.9. This will guarantee higher transfer rates and NCQ for the upcoming Vista OS release by Microsoft.

high quality hard drive, very quiet! excellent!.......2005-09-13

I picked this up the other day and it is amazing. It is extremely quiet compared to my last drive. Installed without a hitch using the included software and SATA cable (it also came with a SATA power adapter but my power supply already has two). I did have to use a serial ATA I/O card as my motherboard does not natively support SATA but it was well worth it. I would have also hoped to take advantage of this drive's NCQ technology but my hardware setup does not have this ability. The size reduction of the SATA cable as compared to Ultra ATA 100/133 is staggering and has increased the airflow and cooling inside my case. This is a great drive for anyone looking to upgrade or just add storage.

I got this and it was dusty and looked as if it was in the back of someones garage for 10 years. I had to clean it before I set it up. Overall, I'd be nervous of the vendor that sold it to me. Otherwise, it's somewhat useful and, although the color wasn't what I expected, it holds lots of CD's and DVD's and hides them away pretty well.

Crappy Tablet.......2006-04-16

I have had this laptop for a little over a year. It is a reason it has a year warranty because after a year it is useless. For one it is hot-very hot. The display will go dim whenever and it has to be restarted. The screen flickers. When using the pen it is not responsive. It is heavy and has a horrible battery life. Believe me, you get what you pay for.

A way to get started (and frustrated) with a TabletPC.......2006-01-26

I've had my machine for almost a year now. It has gone back for trackpad problems once. In addition the CMOS battery was replaced, the case was cracking and it was replaced as well. It was fixed in a timely manner, but it is now doing the same thing. The machine is noisy, hot and the battery life is horrible. I bought it as a cheap way to get into a tablet. I'm convinced of the value of having a tablet; I just need to get a better tablet. If you get one, get an extended warranty.

Junk, pure junk.......2006-01-02

The tablet PC is junk. Just over a year old, and it's been into the shop 3 times. It is sitting here now and i cannot get into the PC because it went to "sleep" and no one seems to know how to get it to wake up. According to the "tech support" it is an easy process.

I've tried the things they wanted me to, but it still isnt' working. They say send it into my local computer shop, but the 3 that i deal with won't touch it.

I don't know why this labtop has so many terrible reviews. When/If you get this computer you should definitely read the users manual that comes as a pdf file on the desktop. It'll solve a lot of little annoyances.

I like this company's customer service. Like everyone else's, my labtop broke about 4 months or so after I got it. Averatec gave me an address to send it to and warned me that they may have to format. I backed up my hard drive and sent it in. I got it back after about 10 days, formatted just as the guy said. Haven't had any problems with it since, of course that was only 3 months ago. I wouldn't feel too terrible having to send back another time. I've been to some computer shops that'll take two months to fix my pc.

All in all this isn't the BEST tablet pc you could get, but if you're on a budget it's definitely a good buy.

Expect substandard customer service and support who treats the customers as if they should just accept the minor defects on a brand new laptop.
Dead dots on the screen are not acceptable but they say it is. The built in wireless is weak. These laptops get very hot, hotter than most laptops should be when running.
All in all, do not spend money on a laptop due to PRICE. You get what you pay for and this is another unknown company that will disappear as many other tech companies have in the past due to poor service and substandard products.
