I like the horizontal fit when this is on my belt. it allows me to maneuver more naturally. however, i don't like the exposed corner and i would like being able to see who is calling more easily. i realize it's in an enclosed case, but flipping over the flap still reveals nothing.
i am going to look for a rubber-like case instead.
Best Case for iPone so far!.......2007-09-11
Finding a good case for your iPhone is a lot of work. I'll save you a lot of time... If you are looking for this style of case, the DLO holster is the best. It is slim and has a perfect fit. Only downsides are the velcro flap (which is hard to open in meetings) and the case obviously offers no protection if the phone is outside of it. I understand the velcro flap instead of magnets because magnets have reportedly been fatal to iPones already. For the second downside - I use a Speck IPH-BLK-TS ToughSkin iPhone Case (Black) case for casual use around the house. However, the Speck case covers up the nice design and attracts all kinds of dust and lint. If you by one case, I'd go for the DLO!
the belt clip is weak.......2007-09-10
This is a nice enough case but, after just 3-4 weeks use, the belt clip tore away from the back. There is insufficient reinforcement in this area. You may not be as rough on it as I was, but I have owned other, cheaper cell phone cases that never did this. Sorry to report this because I have liked other DLO products.

I tried several cases before I came across this one. It feels and looks like quality leather. Appearance is very important to me and I would give this case 5 stars on that rating.
It also does not bother me when on my belt clip. Some cases cut into my side to much and this case rides well. So 5 stars again on comfort.
I had some issues getting the phone out of the case in a hurry (ie: when you are getting a call). I assumed this would become easier as the case "broke-in." so 3 stars on ease of use.
However, my big complaint was that the stitching tore the leather along the side after about a month of use. I should add that I was being rather forceful getting the phone out of the case and my irritation did wonders for removing the leather from the stitching. However, I consider this a weak point of the case and would give it 2 stars on construction/durability.
That being said, I am buying another DLO because nothing else out there looks as good. I will be forced to use more restraint when removing the phone in the future or just buy a couple more cases as back-ups.

The Best, if you want this type........2007-09-19
One of the best cases out there for video iPods if you want basic, good looking protection. It fits my 160GB Classic wonderfully, and looks like it will fit well in any other iPod video. The case may scratch the shiny side if its taken out often, but since its in the case 98% of the time, I'm not one to care about a few scratches (the front aluminum of the classic is very scratch resistant, so no worries there). There is NO clear screen protector built into this case. I wasn't sure about this at the time I bought it, but I prefer it this way since I always put a screen protector on the iPod anyway. The leather scratches fairly easily, but seems durable. Belt clip is permanent, but doesn't protrude excessively. It will serve its purpose well.

Impressive is my one-word summary for this product.
The PodFolio is an exceptional case that provides both protection and style. The leather case is sturdy and the belt-clip has now survived about 4000 insert/removals onto my belt. The flip-top lid protects the screen well. The PodFolio has a slot for connection to a USB cable and a hole on the top for the ear buds.

This is a great product!! The leather is ultra luxurious and soft..Also the stitching is perfectly straight! It fits my iPod Classic 80gb perfectly!!! In look and feel this case is tops. I looked at several retail outlets and all looked cheap/flimsy. This holds my 30gb ipod securely. It never slips. Magnetic catch is sturdy and keeps flap closed. Looks nice clipped on belt, but compact enough to fit in shirt pocket. Really nice, soft leather construction.
Two small drawbacks...first, I wish it had a wrap-around type belt clip with click-stops like my Blackberry case instead of the simple clip it has. Fine for walking around, but I have had it almost slip off a few times when going from sitting to standing or vice versa. Second, the opening at top for headphones in a bit small and rubs against the base of the wire. It has not done any damage yet, but sometimes a wonder if it will over time. Don't let this nit-picking prevent you from buying though. All in all the case is a great value for the money

This case is really nice. I got it after being assured it would fit the new iPod classic 80 GB and it does-perfectly! The padded flap is enough to give a little extra protection, but not so much that it makes the case bulky. It is sleek and stylish!

This case is atrocious. It takes away from the iphone's near perfect design. It seems as if whomever designed this case completely disregarded the idea that the iphone has a minimalist design. The case makes the phone bulky and inconvenient to carry. Sure the ridiculously large hunk of silicone sticking out of the back does the job of storing your earphones, but it also adds about 3-4 inches in width! This thing is horrible, don't even bother.

I was hugely disappointed upon seeing this protective cover. It really isn't protective and is somwhat flimsy. The picture looks much nicer than it really is in person.
The cable management is a pre-fabricated rubber loop that sorta looks like the cable loop on your vacuum (but much smaller). I haven't used it but I guess it does the job its supposed to. However, it takes alot of space and my iphone doesn't stay in my holster now. I'm tempted to cut the darn thing off. This is definitely not a keeper.

Nice product but not great........2007-09-14
Bought this so I could strap this on my arm or clip on my belt and it does that veyr well.
What is annoying is that when you put this on your Sansa it makes the buttons a little hard to push and navigate around in.
Then, what's more of a crapper is that I had to actually cut a rectangle in the side of the thing to allow my memory card to be removed when i need to get to it and put it in my memory card reader.
I dont think I should have to cut a product I just bought to get it to work as needed.
Not what I was originally expecting.......2007-08-17
The picture of the product is not the same as what you receive. It definitely will protect your player. I found the hole for the media dial to be a little small. I'm using it on the Rhapsody version player. I assume the regular series is the same size player. I cut out the bottom 1/4 of the protective front to have better access to the media dial. Mostly I just wanted my screen to be protected not the media dial. The clip on the back is not removable. The armband has a loop that slips over the clip. So the clip always stays on. Not to big of a deal. The player fits in the case nice, and tight. The velcro flap to close the player in is on the bottom of the player. You need to unvelcro the flap to connect your USB cable. So will see how long the velcro holds up. The lock slider is covered by the case material, but it is very easy to still move the lock slider without taking it out of the case. The lock location is marked on the case material so you don't have to guess where it is. A side from my front screen protector modification. It is not a perfect case, but it should definitely get the job done. I'm picky so I gave it three star rating. If the velcro was on the top of the player, and if they made the clip removable. I would have given it a four star rating. If they would have in addition made the media dial hole larger I would have given it a five star rating. Edit- They have now updated the image of the product. So the image is now accurate as of 8-20-07.

I bought both brands of coverings for the Sansa MP3 player and I'm very happy with the DLO action jacket. It is far superior than the other one and it also has a belt clip which makes it easier for accessibility. I like the armband strap too. I would not purchase another type of holder for my Sansa product. This is the one to go with and it's worth every penny.

Having bought one of the C200 series MP3 players some time ago, but having struggled to find a case and more importantly, an armband holder, I was delighted to see this one described. Nervous at buying it sight unseen from the US in case it did not fit etc. I need not have worried. Perfect fit, sits securely on the arm when running and the controls are easy to use through the jacket. A little pricey for what it is once you add the overseas shipping but it does the job to perfection and is well made.

It's a great product with the option of belt clip or armband. The only slight problem is being careful not to hit the "record" button when trying to access the volume control. The writing is not spaced properly over the buttons. You just have to be careful and learn exactly where the buttons are under the jacket.

This dock is full of inconsistencies. Please note, I've experienced all the setbacks previous posters describe, so I will not reiterate those points here. From the moment I integrated it into my system, I haven't been able to tap into its potential, given I have a defective unit. At least that is the comment from their customer service department.
I always read reviews before making any purchase, regardless of price. The reviews for this product were average, but I decided to take a risk. Sometimes I am able to avoid problems with products despite other reviewer's problems. Unfortunately, the Home Deluxe isn't a circumstance with which I've had a success story.
The major problem I had with the Home Deluxe was connectivity/interface. After plugging the dock into my Mac via USB, nothing occurred. iTunes failed to launch. The iPod didn't mount. Being a preferred Mac user, I began to assume that it was that ubiquitous issue (Compatibility).
I wasn't able to receive a video signal through the S-Cable. The composite cable produced a picture, but given I have an LCD, the picture was horrible. With regards to the slide show, I wasn't able to view any photos. When I placed a call to the customer service department, I was lucky enough to troubleshoot with a woman, who all but blamed me for the failure of the unit to work as advertised. I had the TV-Out feature turned on for both the video and the slideshow. She told me to turn off the TV-Out on the photo setting, and leave it on in the video, implying it wouldn't work with both on. She failed to listen to my situation. Had she listened, she would have immediately realized I had video through the composite connections. I interjected, as I had a feeling she was about to blame the lack-luster performance on my iPod. She told me they were having firmware problems with some units. I told her I was unable to navigate to their "updates" page. She said it wouldn't be available for a few more weeks. She briefly placed me on hold, only to return and request that I return my defective Home Deluxe.
I asked her if I should return it, and get a different brand, or just replace it. She put me on hold again, came back, paused for a while, and told me to just replace it with another Home Deluxe. It was as if she was about to advise me to try another company.
On a brighter note, the audio was good.

A nice improvement over the previous model - MAKE SURE YOU BUY THIS ONE AND NOT THE OLDER MODEL--same name, no on-screen video navigation. The only thing this is really missing is on-screen PHOTO navigation. Otherwise, it's a great substitute for the Apple TV, if you already have a video iPod (since Apple TV is really just a glorified iPod without the screen). The remote is a little annoying at times, not responding right away when skipping tracks, but works well for the most part. I did notice an occasional lag in displaying album art, but wasn't sure if was just my music that was the problem. Not all of my music has 'embedded' album art--since iTunes only write it to a database and not the actual MP3 file (unless you do it manually). I also emailed DLO to see if this unit would be capable of receiving firmware updates (for possible future photo integration), but haven't heard back yet. That would be much better than having to buy yet another 'expaned' version of this unit. Overall, the interface is pleasing to the eye, the sound is just fine and the video quality looked perfect to me (using S-Video). It makes watching and listening to content on your iPod a much more pleasurable experience while in the comfort of your home.

Am I the only one wondering why you would even think of buying a armband for the 2g shuffle?
I meen, not only is the size of it so small you could easily fit it in any pocket, even the 2 inch ones that are some times on the outside of big pockets. but it also has a built in clip to clip it to anywere without it falling out.( if you have to, clip it onto ur headband, but ur shirt works fine)not even mentioning how much of a dork armbands make you look like i see no point unless you seriously broke the clip off which isnt that easy to do.

My initial reaction to the action jacket was disappointment, after opening the box and looking at the product my reaction changed to even greater disapointment. CHEEZY... I would have been better off duct taping the iPOD shuffle to my arm. The neoprene sleeve doesn't fit right, and it's overall feel was chintzy. The guy who took the picture for the ad is a genious, because it looked really good in the photo. Spend the extra bucks and buy the Belkin arm band
Great accessory to the Ipod Shuffle especially for runners!.......2007-08-01
I'm not sure if this is an absolute must-have accessory since the Ipod Shuffle will apparently clip-on to clothing securely, but I don't want this thing flapping around on my clothes while I'm running.
I bought this to compliment my Ipod Shuffle and it was the perfect hands-free solution. It's comfortable, not itchy and is much better than running with a 30g Ipod in-hand or at all. Unless you have the biceps of a baby or the Incredible Hulk, it should fit just fine.
As someone else pointed out, the on/off and shuffle-play switches are not accessible once you insert the Ipod into the jacket. You can't see the charge/on light either. I can only imagine the reason Apple did this. Maybe to lessen the chance of sweat seeping into the nooks and crannies of your Ipod. They could have just put a clear protective window over the switches like they did the main buttons. Who knows?
Instead of taking the Ipod in and out of the jacket everytime I turn it on/off I just cut a hole. There are pictures of the switches on the jacket, but no access holes. I used the picture as a template and carefully cut through the material with a box cutter and some scissors. You can do the same for the shuffle switch, but I prefer my songs to play straight through so I don't care about that switch. The hole is tiny, but suitable for me to access the on/off switch.
The solution works fine. No problems. No seepage.
If you run in the sun for long periods of time with the action jacket and a sleeveless shirt, the band will leave a farmers tan the same way short-sleeve shirts and watches do.
The neoprene band is machine washable, but I haven't had it long enough to say if it is durable through hundreds of washes or comes apart at the seams. I plan to handwash and air dry it.

The quality of the armband and the Action Jacket seem nice. The issue is that neither the power on/off switch nor the shuffle on/off switch on the side of the shuffle are accessible. There are labels on the side of the Action Jacket indicating where the switches are, but with the neoprene cover you really can't switch them on/off and if you do manage to you have know way of knowing their position. I assume I will be cutting a small whole so i have access to those switches. One nice thing is that you can use the arm band separate from the jacket, which is the main reason I bought this anyway (for the armband that is).

This unit cannot be used as a dock to sync with Itunes. Highly disappointing for the price. There is one that includes the AC piece AND a new dock...and it is cheaper. might as well buy that one just in case your dock ever breaks (which is unfortunately common). yet another product by apple meant to rip people off with little descprition of what you actually get.

Fits like a glove........2007-04-25
In regards to the two reviews below: I don't know if they changed this product slightly since the introduction of the 2nd gen Nano, but I drove all the way across town to try out the fit at Best Buy based entirely on the reviews of those two who said it didn't fit. It fit great. I then informed the in-laws that this would be an excellent birthday gift to accompany my new Nano. It arrived and it is about perfect for the task at hand. The Ipod is well protected and the belt clip and armband provide choices for use at the gym. So, this is good all the way around. If you guys who couldn't figure out how to insert your Ipod in this thing and then wrote reviews about it read this, contact me, I'll tell you where to send the check for gas money.

iPod nanos should fit on your arm upside down so the trackwheel faces toward you when you lift up your arm. This way, you don't have to twist it around or remove it from the pouch to change a song or volume. This ipod arm band you can wear the ipod upside down on your arm without worrying that it'll fall out since the belt clip has a latch to secure it. You can also wear it secure on your belt if you prefer. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars since I'm not sure how durable it'll be since the front side is mostly plastic and it'll likely be scratched up in a year or so. but it does look slick when it's brand new like mine is.

I purchased this case along with a Nike+ sensor hoping that it would fit since the case that Nike is selling got poor reviews. The case does fit, although you really have to stretch the neoprene over the bottom of the sensor to get the velcro to catch and hold. It's not bad for something that was not designed for this purpose. I also love the belt clip feature -- I don't have to use the armband if I don't want to. I can also clip the Ipod securely inside my purse while commuting on the subway.
