Not worth it.......2007-07-31

I got this camera in the summer of 2006. It worked fine until about January 07. I took it out to take a picture and received the "zoom error" message. I took it to my local camera shop along with my warranty and they sent it off to be fixed. I finally received my camera back from the Fuji company 2 months later- the lens appeared to be fixed. However this past weekend while attending a Baltimore Orioles game, I took the camera out to take a picture and once again received the "zoom error" message for no apparent reason. I will not be sending the camera off to be fixed again. I refuse to wait 2 months to get back a camera that is "kind of" fixed. I will never buy a Fujifilm camera again.

ZOOM ISSUES.......2007-07-21

I bought two new Finepix A345 , both of them with the same annoying problem !! : the zoom doesn't come out , just stocked in the middle , without making focus , I never dropped in the floor or something like that . The cost of reparation is more than the camera value , so :
NO MORE FUJIFILM FOR ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not Bad.......2007-07-08

I got this camera when I was sixteen(three years ago) and I would have continued using it, but I dropped it in the sand and the zoom is now broken. I never had any serious problems with it.
Pros:
-Easy to use settings
-Easy to use zoom
-Good picture quality

Cons:
-Lcd would sometimes be delayed
-flash is very bright on auto mode and washes people out
-if you zoom in to far, it looks really grainy
-I had the same problem with the shutter not opening and getting a blury image

It was good...while it lasted.......2007-05-04

My parents bought this brand for Christmas for both my brother's family and mine. Last summer, we both complained (to each other!) that it used a ton of batteries, but it was more of an inconvenience than anything else. Since November '06, my camera now only takes clear pictures in bright situations, such as outside. Forget taking anything indoors at this point - it is nothing but a complete blur that not even a picture program can fix. I have missed so many pictures because of it! I will never buy a Fuji again.

This camera is a lemon!!!! The shutter stopped working before the warranty ran out. It belongs to my daughter and she didn't tell us; she just stopped using it. Power on and either you get a noise, or a partly open shutter w/o focus, or if you are lucky once every 10 tries, you might be able to take a picture. Stepdaughter also got the same camera with the same defect; she sent it back after warranty - a $60 dollar repair bill. The camera is currently selling new for $60. Read other reviews w/ the same problem. Manufacturers should not charge such a hefty fee to repair when their merchandise is defective. Will probably just get a new camera and definitely not a Fuji!!!

If you are new to digital; camera's, are an older person wanting to take great pictures, this is the camera for you. Very easy to catch on to, and takes great pictures. I DL them to my PC and print them, Beautiful!

This has been a lot of fun. It is very simple to use and the photos are excellent. I went to my local CVS Pharmacy and bought film for it and they helped me out. I would recommended for beginners and all who want to enjoy taking digital pictures without spending too much.

Good features but no battery life.......2006-12-27

This camera is one of the few with an optical viewfinder (good to use when shooting outdoor pics). Unfortunately the battery life just gets shorter and shorter -- maybe 4 or 5 pictures and then it dies. So disappointing.

I bought this tv dvd player for my teenager daughter. She won't get it until Yule however, I took it out of the box to test it out. At the store when it's next to a more expensive name brand model, you can see a difference in picture quality but not a big enough difference to matter. And for the price, you can't beat the added feature of the dvd player. Its very user friendly easy to use and sounds great! I noticed it doesn't play vcd's however a lot of dvd players don't. I was just hoping it would have had the added feature. I love it so much, I want one for my exercise room and my bedroom.

Great TV with DVD at an Affordable Price.......2002-04-28

We were a little skeptical of the item based on the low price and a few reviews from other owners...but it's been great so far. Take into account that this is under [price] and many other units are [price]+, so expectations were not theater quality sound, etc.

This is a great 2nd TV (with the luxury of a 2nd DVD player built right in - for about what we payed for a DVD player alone on our primary system a year or so ago).

The picture is good with brilliant colors, sound is good (on both DVD movies and TV)...and I like the remote (in spite of complaints I read from a few users). The DVD portion of the remote functionality is more intuitive and easy to handle than the DVD player on our main entertainment system.

Plus the 19" size is perfect for the bedroom (13" is too small but about what you can get in most other brands for the price) - you can actually use letterbox features on you DVD and see the movie clearly. Overall - it's a great little system so far!

Good Deal for the Money.......2002-01-13

I just bought the Broksonic TV/DVD combo, and so far I'm impressed. The sound/image quality is exceptional, offering high resolution output and Dolby Digital capabilities for the DVD player.

Strengths:
- Easy to use menuing system
- Exceptional picture quality
- Ability to adjust bass, treble & balance
- Sleek design
- DVD component comes with just about every feature a stand-alone player would offer (zoom, slow-motion, camera angles, etc)

Weaknesses:
- Volume controls are tiny buttons at the top of the remote, making them awkward to get to
- No batteries included (remote requires 2 AAA)

Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons. Combining TV with DVD is a new concept, and the Broksonic seems to be a new company so I couldn't fine any other reviews available for this model. But it seems to be a well-built product and will provide quality entertainment for many years.

I bought the EMP-Z player. The roduct was not reliable. It broke after six months. I sent it in for repair, but the company does not honor its stated warranty. They still have my MP3 player. They seldom return email and are hard to talk to. They informed me that I need to pay them another $25 to get it back. They practically stole my MP3 player from me. I have informed consumer affairs, and may call the local police to file a report.

I have had this drive for over 2 years, and got it at a great price. Works fine with Windows XP, simply plug it in and turn it on.

It has a decent construction, of aluminum and plastic.

The only issue I have with it is that it's not silent; it's a steady metallic whirr sound. Not loud, but it's present.

I bought BUSLink CO-80-U2F External FireWire/USB 2.0 7200 RPM 80 GB Hard Drive in July last year (2003)and I used it since then with very good results. I tried it on three different computers: DELL INSPIRON 8100, 8200 and 5100, on Windows XP Professional and Home Edition.
Each time, it worked as advertised: simply plugged in, the PCs detected the device and, in less than 60 seconds, it was ready to use. I'm very happy with it!

piece of junk! doesn't work as advertised.......2003-08-19

I purchased this drive for my Windows XP laptop. I brought it home with the excitement of finally being able to keep all my mp3's and movies in one place. I plugged it in, and guess what?

the thing doesn't work! The packaging says it is ready to use out of the box without having to install any drivers. It's NOT! I also plugged it into 2 other PC's. Same results. The device is not recognized. The manual and website insist that no drivers are necessary for Windows XP. Worst of all, none exist! If you are one of the unlucky many, you're out of luck.

I'm taking this back to the store tomorrow. Highly disappointed. Grade F product.

get what you pay for.......2004-01-28

I really like no-frills keyboards, without the many uneeded buttons across the top, so I picked this black Belkin keyboard for it's simplicity. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! Like other reviews, the wake, sleep, and power buttons are placed up where the scroll lock usually is, and are very easy to bump when reaching for a pencil for example, instantly shutting down your computer! Most annoyingly though, certain key combinations create 'ghost keys' - random letters appearing - usually when typing fast. I could go on and on... just don't buy this.
