- Stylish curved aluminum extruded case. Adjustable mounting brackets make installation quick and easy. Built-in SCB-100 (RS-232 control), low voltage control or video projector interface are available options.
- High Contrast Da-Mat with a special gray surface, this screen material is designed for use with today's high output LCD, DLP and D-ILA projectors. By lowering the black levels of the projected video image, this surface creates a more film-like image and is a good choice when video is the main source of projected information. This screen surface is best used when there is good control of ambient lighting and a moderately wide viewing angle is desired. Gain 0.8 with a 45-degree viewing half angle.

Customer Reviews:
Apple iPod Shuffle Battery Pack.......2006-03-18
Nice back up to the rechargable battery. Of course, the built in battery does not have unlimited recharges. This is the answer - extended playback time plus no worries when the rechargable battery fails to hold a charge.
Great companion for your iPod Shuffle.......2005-03-20
This battery pack from Apple is just the right companion for you shuffle on trips with no access to USB ports. Plug in the shuffle into this pack and you are ready to go. And as with any Apple product it just works, you don't have to worry about buying an unknown brand accessory.
Also I suspect this should keep working with future generation of Shuffle, since its normal USB based. And possibly other devices like Treo 650, Tungsten E etc which can be charged from its USB port.
In short this is perfect and elegant solution to recharge battery on the go for your mobile device and almost certainly future proof.
Nice, but infringes the entire iPod Shuffle concept!.......2005-01-19
I tried out my friends battery pack with my own iPod Shuffle and I have to say that it does indeed increase the battery life. I usually get around 10 hours of playback and the battery pack gives it an extra 15-16 hours. But again, even though the battery pack isn't that bulky itself, the concept of having a light weight flash player with an attached battery pack is odd. Looks and feels slightly big. I don't use my Shuffle for long drives, since it isn't made for that. Get the regular iPod instead. If you are not satisfied with the normal battery life(which is quite good), then go ahead and get this. But you might just lose the iPod Shuffle touch; lightweight and compact.

BELKIN F1DJ102P-B - This switch provides an affordable KVM ( Keyboard - Video - Mouse ) solution that gives you control of two PS/2 compatible computers from one console, giving you back workspace you may not have seen in years! The unit's compact design and included cabling save you installation time, workspace inches, and cash! PC99 color connectors Supports multiple operating systems Requires no power supply or additional cables Includes BELKIN Three Year Warranty and free technical support
Customer Reviews:
Very easy to use.......2007-07-03
I bought this KVM switch to hook up a new Dell we'd bought for my mother. She had an older system running WinMe and was reluctant to change, so this would give her a way to have both systems hooked up and she could get used to the new operating system in her own time. We hooked one monitor and one keyboard to be shared by both systems. (I believe they also shared one mouse.)
It hooked up with no problems at all, although I have to agree with the reviewer who commented about the cables attaching one all four sides. It does take up more room than it should this way.
There's software you install and after that a green icon allowing quick switching appears in the Systray area.
She's had no problems with the switch at all and after a few months found that she rarely needed the older system any more, although it's still hooked up.
Great product. Great price........2007-03-15
Easy to install and takes up a very small footprint on the desk.
Please be aware that problems reported by others might be not replicatable in other environments.......2006-05-25
I have found that problems notes in reviews below might not correspond to your experience. Also the authors who are not professional may not try all options that are available to solve them and expect that in case you have switch Linux-Windows things should work automatically. This might not be the case and not due to switch (or not only due to KVM switch).
One attraction of this model is that (taking into account the price) you can replace cables with better one. For example use high quality video cables. But as for video cables Belkin cables have different connectors on different ends, so this is not an option unless you have access to custom cables. In the latter case that might make sense to use a separate video cable as the video cable that comes with the unit looks too thin and might have insufficient shield and higher resistance.
Still you can use serial to PS/2 cable for mouse if you have problems with mouse on Unix (and you second machine is FreeBSD or Solaris or Linux). You will have no wheel but all three buttons will work. Actually expect problems if the second computer is Unix. Look for Slashdot discussion about "Making Mouse Wheels Work w/ a KVM?" for ideas. Among possible helpful hints for Windows-Unix setup are:
- Use Microsoft mouse instead of Logitech
- buy professional KVM or different KVM (Connectpro Master IT ??)
- reset the X mouse driver with some script or program that outputs the appropriate reset code to the mouse device. Or reset the X mouse driver by switching to a virtual console and back
- use "serial to PS/2 cable" for mouse.
Of course in professional environment you will use something like Avocent but at home you might find some OK solution with Belkin even if you second computer is Unix. Just do not expect it work automatically in heterogeneous environment and do your homework.
NOTE: IMHO you need to be careful and not disconnect and reconnect cables when computer is powered on. Also all both mouse and keyboard need to be sitted tightly and if unit is not fixed to the wall or table they can accidentally became loose or even detached. that's a drawback of the construction but it is compensated by the ability to use you own cables.
Observations:
1. Contrary to Prev reviewers opinion it works well with Dell docking station and c610 laptop.
2. Contrary to previous reviewers opinion it does works with Microsoft Intellimouse. Both wheel and additional buttons (back and forward in IE) work normally.
3. Contrary to previous reviewers opinion it works with USB mouse via converter to PS/2.
4. I can confirm previous reviewers opinion that sometimes when you switches from one computer to another it switches screen resolution. Using same resolutions on both computers might help to solve the problem (not the case in my setup). I still did not figure out why it happens, but it happened to me once. May be using external power supply can prevent this effect. I just do not know.
5. Unit can be easily and conveniently mounted on the wall (or back or side of the table) using a small bracket or wire that creates a loop over main video connector. In this case T-style connectors actually help.
KVM Switch Review.......2006-03-25
The KVM switch works flawlessly. However I believe it should have come with the external power supply.
nice little switch with major design flaw.......2005-06-23
I have been using this switch at work for a couple of weeks. It works well when using the keyboard shortcut. It is powered by the keyboard PS2 connection, so no power adapter is required. One small complaint about the unit is the bundled cables are 3 pieces for each computer, instead of being molded together, so I've got a LOT of wires under my desk now.
Now for the big complaint. For me, this is a deal-killer. If I were using this at home and paid my own money for it I would have returned it. There are ports for connecting cables on ALL FOUR SIDES of the unit. Who decided that was a good idea? The cables are heavy and take several inches to turn 90 degrees, so the unit takes up about 12" X 12" on my desk. This is unacceptable. Please, KVM Switch designers, all the cables should exit the back of the unit, unless it is designed to be mounted in a server rack.

Customer Reviews:
Loud and cumbersome.......2007-08-08
If you have plenty of space and a tolerance for loud and annoying electronics, then the Belkin 4-Port KVM is for you.
This thing is like a kid in a movie theater: Noisy. Every time I switch to a different PC the thing makes a pair of loud chirps. I contacted their technical support on how to disable this nonsense and was told that it can't be disabled and that some people actually like this audio confirmation. My thinking is, if some people like it why does everyone have to live with it? Isn't the fact that the image on the monitor changes to the other PC enough confirmation that the PC has been switched? Another helpful thing the tech said was that they have another model where the sound can be disabled by jumping through some hoops, but this KVM costs $70 more than the one I just bought!
Aside from the top and bottom of the unit, cables stick out from all sides of this thing and it looks like a giant unwieldy spider ready to ensnare anything that comes within its reach. I guess the alternative would be to have all of the cables stick out one side but then it would be unbalanced.
I'm returning this thing immediately due to the noisy operation, partially because I hate the noise and partially because I hate supporting bad design.
OLD product that doesn't work with current keyboards & mice.......2006-02-15
I recently purchased this KVM to replace a 2 port device with integrated (non detachable) cables where one of the video signals had broken causing color issues. After spending the time to connect 3 machines I discovered that the mouse wouldn't work with any of the computers, yet the mouse connected directly would work with all 3 computers. A quick call to Belkin and I was told this is an OLD product that doesn't support mice with USB --> PS/2 converters (which is >90% of mice sold in the last 18 months!).
The mechanical design is not ideal with connectors on all four sides - this creates placement issues and leads to it consuming a large portion of your desk area. It would be much better if the cables all exited from the rear. In addition there is an annoying (and uncontrollable) beep every time a switch is made - this should really be configurable as some people love this - others have a problem with it and have resorted to opening the device to defeat the speaker.
I wouldn't have been so frustrated had the product identified it ONLY works with old defunct mice / keyboards. Sorry Belkin but I will be returning this device and looking for an up to date alternate from one of your competitors.
An excellent and reliable device.......2005-08-07
This is certainly an excellent, basic consumer KVM system. Good quality cables are included, and fasten tightly for reliable service. Detachable cables mean that breaking a cable pin doesn't lunch your entire KVM system as with other consumer KVM systems that are sealed in epoxy. The top of the cable interface unit has a selector button for manual switching, a very nice debugging feature and convenient when working away from the keyboard. In addition, the unit chirps (beeps) each time it switches channels. And channels may also be switched from the keyboard by pressing Scroll Lock twice in quick succession, followed by the up or down arrow key. The unit lets you know that it has received your Scroll Lock sequence and is now ready for your arrow key selection by emitting a chirp(beep). These nice features make using this KVM system a transparent activity, as it should be. BTW, this unit can be powered if your particular installation requires it, using an optional brick. I don't need it with my Dell servers, but if I ever extend the cables its nice to know I can kick in some extra juice if need be. Taking away from a 5-star rating is the lack of audio switching with this unit, but with 2 MP3 players and 3 multimedia laptops do I really care? Kinda..:) Plus the cable sets are not joined, though not a big deal. My other KVM systems, at another location, are commercial grade, with OSD. I wondered if I could live without it, but I needed a KVM solution ASAP so raided the CompUSA. This was to be a temporary solution, but worked out so well that I have no plans to replace it.
I've deployed this KVM as follows: 4 dell computers and a Microsoft Digital Media Pro USB/PS2 compatible keyboard (model 1031) and Microsoft USB/PS2 compatible Optical Mouse (using the USB-PS2 (DIN) converter plugs supplied with those devices). All of the keyboard's funky multimedia knobs and buttons work fine.
A good, solid KVM that won't drive you nuts, at a price so cheap I was scared to buy it. Thanks Belkin.
Product Description
20mm wide angle lens for Canon cameras
Customer Reviews:
I highly recommend this lens but do some research first..........2007-06-11
I highly recommend this lens. It is sharp, fast, very accurate in focusing, and light weight. I use it primarily for landscape nature shots. There are a lot of reviews out there about a few bad 20mm's. If quality of image is vital, you should do some research. If you are an amateur who just gets a big kick out of viewing your images on a computer, this lens is perfect.
I'm a long time user of Nikon from the film days. I had 1 bad experience w/Nikon digital (a bios update ruined my camera due to bad Nikon software). I will eventually go back over the Nikon line when they get their electronics on par w/Canon. Therefore, I don't want to spend a lot of money on Canon lenses but I do want some quality. These cheaper lenses are perfect for this waiting period.
Not recommended.......2007-05-14
The lens is okay on a 1.6 crop factor digital camera, but it isn't particularly wide-angle then (32mm field of view). I hear that it is okay on a film camera, but I have no experience. On a full-frame digital camera, it stinks....Digital cameras can be affected by the angle a lens causes light to hit the sensor, and it seems to make a difference here. The lens produces smudged, blurry images on my full-frame camera. It is okay on my Rebel XTi, but not wide enough to be impressive. It stinks on my 1Ds.
Build quality is okay, but nothing special. If you buy this despite my recommendation, spend a bit of money to get the lens hood (which doesn't come with the lens). It will help keep glare off the front element.
If you can afford it, buy one of the wide-angle L zooms instead of this lens. If you can't afford those, get a Sigma zoom (preferably the 12-24, but alternately the 15-30) instead of this lens.
Just what I wanted.......2007-01-21
This lens is just what I wanted. I could not find it at any of the local shops, and the price I was being quoted to special order it was double what I paid for this lens. I am very pleased.
It's better than it's made out to be!.......2006-09-15
If there is one thing in this universe that is more rare than gold, it is a positive review of this particular lens. Now I don't know if I just got lucky and got a good sample. But this has been a GREAT lens for me. Sharpness is actually REALLY good. Now one of the BIG complaints of this lens is poor edge sharpness. But I have not found this to be a severe problem - especially when stopped down somewhat. And, since a lens of this focal length is more likely to be used for scenics or arcitectural use than action shots, this isn't the end of the world.
But there is more going for this lens than sharpness. Distortions are VERY low for a lens of this focal length. You are NOT going to get anything nearly as good from a zoom. Also, color saturation and contrast are EXCELLENT - FAR better than, say, an EF-S 17-85mm lens. Colors REALLY come alive with this lens compared to most zooms. And chromatic aberrations are all but non-existant.
Construction also seems to be solid on my lens. The materials seem to be of good quality. The focus ring doesn't wobble much. And nothing external actually extends during focusing. This last fact is a REAL plus in outdoor environments, since an extending element creates low pressure in the lens (which can suck in dusty air).
I really have only two complaints about this lens. One it the price, which is somewhat on the high side. I personally got mine used for less. But $400+ is kind of alot to pay for a consumer grade lens. On the other hand, price is maybe not too bad, given the good overall quality of this lens. My other complaint is vignetting at large apertures. Simply put, vignetting is VERY noticeable at f/2.8 - even on an APS-C camera. I can only imagine how it might look on a full-frame camera. In fact, the vignetting makes this lens virtually unusable at f/2.8 in many situations. Of course, this gets better when you stop the lens down. At f/4, vignetting is no longer a problem. But the fact that f/2.8 is not nearly as usable as it could be is somewhat of a downer.
Of course, much like the edge sharpness issue, this is not the end of the world. And at the end of the day, you can still take some REALLY good pictures with this lens.
could be sharper on full-frame.......2006-08-03
I've used this lens both on 1.6x crop (Digital Rebel XT) and full frame (5D and EOS 3) cameras.
On the 1.6x crop, the 20mm focal length looks like 32mm. I personally find that to be a wonderful focal length for general purpose use, and the f2.8 is acceptably fast for some indoor / low-light situations.
On full-frame, the lens is amazingly wide, and can be challenging to frame an interesting picture. Nevertheless, sometimes you need the lens to be that wide, so it's great to have. On the downside, the lens loses sharpness toward the edges, and is more evident on full-frame cameras than on 1.6 crop cameras.
This lack of sharpness is not always a big deal, as the edges of a photo are usually not the focal point.
I'm overall happy with it, and when I want wide, I usually grab my 20mm over my 17-40mm zoom.
