Product Description
Bend your arms at the elbows and hold your hands straight out. See how your hands naturally position themselves at a slight inward angle toward each other? Notice how this angle matches the angle of the split-keypad on the ErgoBoard Natural Design Keyboard. It lets you work more comfortably by helping you type with your hands, wrists, and forearms in a more relaxed posture. The ErgoBoard Natural Design Keyboard incorporates more than just an ergonomic design, it also includes a tactile key switch, an integrated palm rest and adjustable typing heights. This keyboard still has the familiar layout that you are used to. Using a QuietType membrane with soft tactile keys will ensure ease of use and a comfortable feel. With a 15 million keystroke operating life and a jumbo sized Enter key, you can expect reliable and convenient performance for years to come.
Customer Reviews:
The 'perfect' keyboard.......2007-09-03
I have had several of these and would definitely suggest this to anyone with arm and wrist pains due to extensive and repetitive typing. The shape of the keyboard helps alleviate the pains. It is larger than your typical keyboard, so make some space on your desk. Also, this has a PS2 connection, so you will need a PS2 to USB cable if you are going to use it with new machines that only have USB ports (like Dells).
Good keyboard overall, but ..........2007-07-12
It is what it is. It's a good Ergonomic PS/2 keyboard. My only warning is that if your a quick typer be prepared for a learning curve as the keys are "stiff". Being use to logitech keyboards (which have a soft touch), I missed a lot of keys until I got use to how much pressure I need to sucessfully create a keystroke.
Letters wear off!.......2007-05-18
This is a wonderful keyboard with correct "6" spacing and excellent comfort level. It has been very durable for the 3 months that I have owned it. In fact, everything is perfect about this keyboard except that the letters have all worn off. Yes, I am a medical transcriptionist and type 40+ hours a week on this. I know this is a lot of use, but I keep remembering the IBM Selectrics that I learned on in high school that were 30 years old but still had all the letters intact. Even the paint on the symbol keys is wearing off, which could be a problem as I don't have these memorized.
I am really irritated about the cheapo letter paint. I hope it isn't toxic as I have absorbed it all in my fingertips.
Great Keyboard.......2007-04-07
This is an excellent keyboard for those of you who spend all day typing. I got my wife this keyboard and she says her wrists and hands feel much better then her old style keyboard. If you have wrist pain due to poor ergonomics and all day on the computer, this may just be the keyboard for you. Takes a few days to get used to with the layout, but it makes a world of difference and is worth the temporary setback.
Best ergo board out there... take it from a professional typist.......2007-01-19
I'm a professional medical transcriptionist of 12 years. It's my job to type over 2000 lines of text a day. I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. I NEED a good, dependable ergo keyboard that will keep my speed up and pain down.
I was using the new Microsoft keyboard until I developed a twitch in my right thumb that was so severe that pens started falling out of my hand. Not so good. Not so ergo.
Don't mistake this keyboard for the Ergoboard PRO. That is also made by Belkin but feels totally different and is very fatiguing for extensive typing.
This one has a clicky, very tactile keyboard (translated: it's noisy), and some people don't like that, so just be aware. Yes, the "power" button is really annoying. Just pop it off. And keep it, and make a bracelet out of your collection of them when you have to replace the keyboard after about 5 months (at my level of usage, so that probably translates to 1-2 years for other users).... because the space bar will wear out and stop working. And you'll want the same keyboard again. And you'll have a subsequent collection of dismembered "power" keytops. Cool jewelry.... power bracelet ;-)
Anyway, I see it's getting hard to find, hope they aren't on the outs. I love them... they are worth replacing every few months.

PS2?.......2006-10-28
I bought this keyboard assuming it was made in the last few years. Apparently only if you have Windows 98 and a PS2 connection. I didn't know they still made PS2 keyboards! Had to spend an additional $5 on an adapter.
Great except for the stupid Power/Sleep keys.......2006-07-16
I picked this keyboard at random (mostly because it's inexpensive) when I first decided to buy one due to tendinitis issues. I think it's great as far as comfort and ease of use (after the normal learning curve going from a normal keyboard to a split/ergonomic board). The only thing I don't like (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5), as other reviewers mentioned, is the Power and Sleep keys at the upper right corner of the keyboard. The Power key was the worst -- it's easy to bump, and if you do, the computer shuts down and there's nothing you can do about it. My solution: I just popped those keys off (all three at the upper right corner). I made a little cover too, but that's probably overkill for most people.
Almost perfect.......2005-05-23
I had an older EZ-Key ergo keyboard that finally quit on me. After looking around I found that the Belkin keyboard was similar enough that I'm wondering if it is licensed - I know EZ-Key does OEM stuff.
So, what's so great about this keyboard? Well, I have a MS Natural keyboard at home and I don't like it much at all. The keys aren't as snappy and the arrow keys and the block of keys above it are too small and layed out wrong. This keyboard feels much better and the keys are all the correct size and have the proper layout. Some reviews have mentioned that the keyboard is flat; mine isn't, it rises to the center of the split as these keyboards should.
So why not five stars? Two things: the power button and the lack of risers.
As others have mentioned the power button is too easy to hit accidentally. Fortunately there are a few things you can do about this. You can pop the key off pretty easily, however this is a bit of an eyesore and there are better solutions. If you feel like tinkering, you could take the keyboard apart and stuff a little piece of foam or something under the key so that it won't press down all the way. The easy way, though, is to go into your power settings (Control Panel -> Power Options -> Advanced on Windows XP) and change what happens when you press the power and sleep buttons on your computer. Set this to 'Ask me' and you can still use the button on your computer, you'll just have to click 'OK'.
The lack of risers: My EZ-Key keyboard had front risers and others here have mentioned that their keyboards came with front risers, but my Belkin didn't. It has marks where they should be but they aren't there. I dealt with this by taking the plate that has the risers off of my EZ-Key keyboard and putting it on this one - exact fit, another reason I think this is licensed or OEM'd. Obviously not an option for everyone, but you could solve this one with a block of foam or something if you had to.
I like this keyboard enough that I'd buy another one. It's the only one I've found with the proper key layout and a good key feel.
Buy a Belkin, Go Insane.......2004-01-19
The power and sleep buttons are the same size and height regular keys which make them easy to bump when using navigation keys or number pad. Almost all Belkin keyboards are like this. I'd bump them even when reaching for something on my desk and I'd lose hours of stupidly unsaved work. Waiting for your computer to start up again isn't fun either. Other times I'd bump the sleep button, which was less disastrous, but just as infuriating. Adding insult to injury, the power button would not turn the computer back on or wake it. I finally ended up taking a hammer to it. Funny, now that it's in a thousand peices, it still works as well as when I first got it.

Product Description
Your projects shine with the ScanJet 5470Cse color scanner. You get preview scans just in 8 seconds. Save time with the optional Automatic Document Feeder. Eight one-touch buttons let you "scan", "e-mail", "photo reprint", and more. Then scanner is ideal for family photographers wanting to convert their photos to digital files, offices needing to easily archive information and preserve hard disk space using scan-to-CD, persons needing to make multiple color copies in conjunction with their color printer.
Amazon.com Product Description
A one-pass flatbed scanner, the 5470Cse's excellent image quality and numerous features make it stand out from others in its price range. Its 48-bit color and a maximum hardware resolution of up to 2,400 dpi help deliver vivid, true-to-life images, while eight one-touch buttons (scan to e-mail, copy, share-to-Web, and more) and scan preview times of as little as eight seconds help save valuable time.
A 16-character LCD screen lets you know the status of your scans as they happen, while a transparency adapter helps you get high quality scans of 35mm negatives and slides. The 5490Cse connects via either USB or parallel port and has a maximum scanning size of 8.5 by 11.7 inches (or 8.5 by 14 inches with optional automatic document feeder). The 5470Cse is backed by a one-year limited warranty and also comes with several useful photo-imaging programs such as HP Precision Scan Pro 3.1 with OCR technology.
Customer Reviews:
Easy install. Good controls. Dust issues. No 48-bit scans........2005-05-03
On the plus side, this scanner installs easily (WindowsMe and WindowsXP) and it has a nice set of front panel controls. Also, its color accuracy is dead-on (this is a big plus).
Three negative issues:
1) The scanning beam is exceptionally bright. While there may be some benefits (color accuracy perhaps), it also means that ordinarily invisible dust becomes prominent in the scan. More than any other scanner I've worked with, the 5470cse makes it exceptionally difficult to get a clean scan. This makes it useless for creating photo quality scans without substantial post-processing. Contrast this performance with other scanners which produce clean scans without draconian cleaning measures (for both the glass and the image surface). Suprisingly, the extra bright light does not help reduce image noise.
2) The 5470cse support for 48-bit scans is a sham. You'll see this claim in the product description and on the box. However, once inside the box or on-line documentation, it is never mentioned again (perhaps the marketers are making up facts while the engineers tell it like it is).
The software and driver prevent generating a 16-bit per channel TIFF or importing a high bit depth image into Photoshop's RGB16 image mode. Follow-up with HP says that the scanner uses 48 bits internally and then selects the "best" 24 bits. HP's customer care averts responsibility in this area by falsely pointing the finger elsewhere: "The Windows operating system does not support bit depths beyond the 24 bit range. For this reason, scanning to 48 bit color is not supported." This is patently false as other scanners seem to have no problem generating 16-bit TIFFs in Windows environments. HP provides the following links:
- http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?lc=en&cc=us&docname=bps05307
3) HP's customer care is an Eliza style AI program that represents itself as a real person researching your issue and crafting thoughtful replies. Each note is a form letter (thanks for writing ... if I can be of more help, etc.) with an Eliza style problem restatement (I gather your problem is ...) followed by bayesian match to one of their FAQs and a link to related support bulletin). Each is signed by an Anglo name (Rose, Bobby, John, and Nancy).
In other words, if you haven't found the answer by reading the docs, you're not going to get it from customer care.
Poor Performance with Macs.......2002-03-29
If you are a Mac owner keep away from this and other HP scanners. Certain performance claims made by HP in pre-sales literature as well as the Users Manual cannot be met, except for Windows. HP admits this, but does not appear to be bothered by these misleading statements.
In addition HP does no provide a hard copy user's manual, this is found on the CD, which makes for difficult learning unless you want to print out the 150 page color manual.
Customer support is not customer focused.

Great product marred by bad software.......2002-03-15
I returned mine after spending about 14 hours installing, removing, reinstalling, cleaning the registry, searching HP's web support site, etc. with no success. HP's support has been no help, and my visit to the HP scanner support forum was no help either--much of the talk was about class action suites and BBS complaints.
The hardware and feature set is great, but HP apparently is having a problem managing their software development. I know I can't afford to spend this much time trying to get a technically mature, commodity product to perform its advertised function.

Customer Reviews:
"Remove Cassette" too frequent.......2007-08-23
Nice picture quality, nice zoom. It would also be nice if this camcorder functioned half of the time. Does "remove cassette" mean anything to you?
My advice: Never buy Canon. I've used GL1's and GL2's that have also had this problem.
fairly good.......2007-05-18
I have had little problems with this product at all.
only complaints:
-poor battery life (even with upgraded)
-no frame record mode on camera ( if there is can someone please reply on this)
thanks
Great Video Camera!.......2007-05-10
I bought this camera more than a year ago, but I was updating some reviews when I realized I never wrote one for this product. Well, I just have to say that it's a wonderful camera that shoots high quality film. I do some video editing as a hobby, and I am happy to have the Mini-DV's available for transfer to my PC. If you are going to do any editing, always get Mini-DV, it'll make your life much easier. The only complaint I have is shooting under low light situations where the picture becomes pixelated and could use improvement. All in all, a great camera at a great price!
Great camcorder: highly recommended!.......2007-02-16
This really is a great camcorder that I have been using for more than a year now. I have not seen any problems so far. I has excellent video quality. It is quite handy and easy to carry. Also, unlike some, I do not hear a playback noise. I also used to have Canon ZR500 and ZR600, but I can say that this one is better than those. I totaly recommend Canon ZR300.
International travellers please consider this........2006-12-27
I had this for a good 11 months despite the fact that it had audio noise while playback, that was a good entry level camcorder. I had to return this because it started giving me mild electric shock, while charging the unit in the countries that have 220v spec. I used adapters and convertors that take me from US system to international systems. I took this camcorder with me and travelled outside of the United States. And interestingly it was not giving any electric shock while charging in US after my return. So if you are a world traveller then please consider this.

Manfrotto has taken the 3021BPRO tripod and made it even more versatile! The main refinement to this series is with the center column. Designed as an alternative to the low-angle adapter, the new center column enables the head to be left mounted to the column when switching between low angle and normal shooting. As with the previous series, the 3021BPRO has a removable center column that doubles as a horizontal lateral arm. Not only does this allow the camera to be offset from leg position, but it provides the simplest way possible to shoot from directly overhead. In addition, the new 3021BPRO also comes with leg warmers on two legs which helps keep hands protected in cold weather and protects the body when carrying the tripod on shoulders. A new strap, the 458HL, (available as an optional accessory) has also been introduced to better carry the tripod. It simply snaps to the center column.Grip Action Ball Head is versatile, quick and easy to use. Just grip the handle and you can position your camera anywhere within 180? sphere. It is supplied with a quick-release camera plate and a secondary safety lock, built-in bubble level and tension adjustment. Made of cast aluminum. Ideal for 35mm cameras with short or medium focal length lenses.

Awesome tripod & head.......2007-01-06
If you've never owned a "real" tripod, I heartily recommend this one.
It's substantial, in construction and feel, but not in price.
Egonomically and functionally, it works flawlessly.
It's tall, too, if you're on the tall side, to eliminate your having to bend over.
I REALLY love the 3265 Grip Action Ball Head.
It's wonderfully ergonomic.
It's, basically, a joy stick, which, when you think of how you grip something naturally, your hand fits perfectly around this.
This, versus some Heads I've seen that you have to use your hand in an unnatural position...can't imagine doing THAT for a whole sports event.
It also stops on a dime and holds its position wonderfully.
Yes, you can spend gobs more money, but, if you don't shoot for a living and use this equipment 10 hours a day, six days a week, I have to ask why you'd spend more.
And who knows, this stuff may just stand up to all that, too.
Excellant Tripod and Ball Head.......2006-03-11
Rugged, stylish, light enough to carry on my back in the case, quick adjusting ball head. All the parts cry out quality. Heavy duty and precise. Looks like it will satisfy me for a long time. Well worth the $.

Customer Reviews:
only worked for 7 months!.......2007-09-10
Got this set last X-mas; used it approx. 30 times always with new "AA" Duracell batteries. I didn't use it for a month or so then in August I tried to play a CD (not a copy-an original!) and it only plays for the first 40 seconds then just spins and spins and spins.....no sound, no new track song plays, nothing!!! I am an adult who takes very good care of electronics....there is no explanation for why this CD just quit in such a short time! Sent e-mail to Coby cust. svc....no replies as of 2 weeks ago! Stick with the "real" brands!
Not bad at all!!.......2007-04-28
I got this as a gift from a friend. (Thanks again, Tara!)
Mind that i am not from the US, i was worry that the FM radio that came with the package would not able to receives local stations..
Anyhow, everything seems to works fine. It plays the CD nicely, the speaker is average for matches its package price., i uses my Edifier speakers to listen to Taylor Hicks CD.., it really shaken up my room.., Wooo!!
Overall, this is a good package thats came with a reasonable price.
Give it a try if you haven't yet.. ;)
Coby CD Player.......2007-02-09
Great item even with the price having gone up. People are very happy to receive it.
COBY RATING with reservations".......2007-01-10
In all I am very pleased with the Coby CD player. However, that being
said, I have reservations about the accompanied accessories.
1. The ear plugs are very uncomfortable.
2. The exterior speakers are tinny.
To counter both deficiencies I went out and purchased a Bose QC3.
Problems solved. However these two lapses should be considered when
purchasing the setup, unless pricing can make up for the deficiencies
so the customer feels they got a special deal.
Dont expect much.......2005-05-02
I got this as a request for a cd player for Christmas. Boy, this thing blows. Whenever I walked, it didnt skip. Worse, it turned off, with fresh batteries. Speaking of batteries, this thing eats em up. Doesnt last 45 minutes with top notch batteries like energizer. The radio was alright, dont use it much though. Speakers were mediocre. Dont go with Coby. Go with brands like Panasonic. I got that blue Panasonic portable mp3 cd player. Its Expensive, but hey, its durable, no skip at all, plays mp3 cds. And it looks cool too.
