Disc Dabber Tray Type D for Direct Printing of CD/DVD's with Canon MP500, MP800, MP830, and MP950 Printers
Manufacturer: PE-Labs CD-Trays ProductGroup: CE Similar Items: Product Features:
ASIN: B000K84UP8 |
Product Description
Did you know that several popular models of Canon inkjet printers can print directly on CD's and DVD's with dazzling results? No labels need apply! Let's face it. Paper labels can look pretty good, but keeping a supply on hand and fiddling with an applicator is a nuisance. Far worse is that we label our most important discs, only to start chemical reactions that destroy the contents after a period of time. Even the U.S. government (NIST "Care and Handling of CDs and DVDs") strongly advises against the use of adhesive labels. Of course, there's LightScribe, which is safer and definitely cool looking, but it's monochrome and can take up to 30 minutes to burn the label. For the consumer, direct inkjet printing on a disc is the only method that offers the combination of speed, low cost, full color, and reliability. Buy a Disc Dabber(tm) Tray here, but visit the manufacturer, CD-Trays.com, for instructions on how to push the buttons on your printer to turn on the direct print feature. (This only has to be done one time.) Also, don't miss the "Tray in Action!" video. You will also find free disc labeling software for use with this tray. After you have enabled your printer and installed the free software, the use of the tray is amazingly simple. Place a disc in the Disc Dabber Tray and slide it into the printer. Print. Amazingly, the tray is pulled in and printer uses its own built-in optical alignment system to exactly determine the location of reflective targets mounted in the tray. Because of this special alignment method, the printed image is placed very precisely on the disc. Unlike the less-precise printing on paper labels, there is no need to print oversized to mask off-centering that causes an amateurish white crescent. You get consistent results every time using the Disc Dabber Tray.Customer Reviews:
