This is a cool product and it seems to work great. I dont have enough electronic knowledge to understand what it does, but my picture and sound are outstanding...no hiss, ghosts, etc... It is nice to have piece of mind that your equipment is protected. It is very cool to watch as well.

Warning Concerning Manufacturer Equipment Warranty.......2007-03-08

First, this is an excellent product and I purchased it after consulting with several people. However, a word of caution to everybody concerning the Panamax warranty for equipment connected to this. Panamax specifically outlines on its website that it will NOT cover costs associated with damage to your equipment if this item is not purchased from specific, Panamax approved vendors. After I made the purchase, I learned that many internet purchases are void of this guarantee. Buyers should make their own informed decision about whether or not to purchase this item from a Panamax approved vendor. If you want the product at the best price and the equipment coverage isn't important to you, then shop around. If you are purchasing it in part to get the coverage, check out Panamax website for a details on the vendors they recognize and honor regarding equipment coverage.

This little panamax carries quite a punch with a very small price tag respectively. Great for garage door operners or a kitchen TV. Small and convenient protection for those dangerous power surges/spikes. Well worth the small investment.

Short lived performance.......2005-11-03

I bought the TDK Mojo 256 about a year and 3 months ago. It worked wonderfully for the first year - did what it was supposed to and the radio quality was great. Then I upgraded to Windows XP and that's when everything started going wrong. This MP3 player needs propreitary software to copy files from your hard disk or CD to the mp3 player. Unfortunately the software doesn't work well at all with XP. Right now, my player is piece of junk. I have tried copying files which it shows as copied but then when you reconnect the player, they don't show up on there. What's more, formatting the internal memory will also not release the space and so I have the internal memory full but it shows up in the software as free. However, it won't copy over any new files and gives me a "Storage Full" error. It doesn't act reliably with XP either and I had to unplug and replug several times for it to even read the list of songs on the mp3. It lasted all of 15 months. While it sounds like a great deal ( good features for price ). DO NOT buy this if you will be using it with XP and if you do, please don't expect it to last more than 12-15 months.

This player has a nice compact size and is very user friendly. I've had mine for about a year and I love it.

Its a piece of junk.......2005-02-07

This player is a piece of junk.
First the USB really doesnt mean you can hot swap. You can access the files only if the software is installed on the computer which means that you cannot pick up MP3 from any computer.
Second, it gives errors with XP. It tries to install drivers every time.
THird, removing old and adding new MP3 is such a hassle. It takes minutes to delete old files and add new. Seems like you are working with a floppy.
Fourth, its Mojo software hangs all the time.
Fifth, it sucks battery life.
Sixth, if your MP3 is not in a directory, i.e. if copied directly, it wont show. Then it wont delete and will show 200 MB as not free space. Formatting is the only way out.
Seventh, it came with a mail in rebate which never showed up.
Overall, a bad experience.

Pros:
1)Excellent sound quality and features.
2)Good user interface.
3) Can add SD card to increase memory by 512 MB
Cons:
1)Better buy different headphones
2)Short battery life.
3)Need proprietory TDK software to access the flash memory

It's rather frustrating, having received the player, to find out that headphones are pretty bad. Battery life is highly overrated: when playing files, it lasts no longer than 6 hours. Need to carry spare batteries all the time. If you decide to transfer mp3 files from you friend's computer to the player, good luck! You need to install first TDK software. Fortunately, the positives outweigh the negatives: 1) can buy headphones 2) rechargeable AAA battery 3) use SD card to avoid proprietory TDK software.

Conslusion: excellent buy if you pay no more than $80-100 for it. Otherwise, go for better players.

I like this Player.......2004-12-09

This is the first MP3 player that I've owned, although I've
played with an IPod.

+ The sound quality is very good, and the FM receiver is above
average for a portable device.

+ This is the first set of earbuds that I haven't just thrown
in the drawer. They are actually pretty comfortable.

+ I like the expansion slot. Especially with card prices
continuing to fall.

- I have big fingers. The controls are already pretty small
and the case that they ship makes them even harder to use.

- If you connect the USB and delete the file/directory that
the player was accessing it will freeze up. Even removing
the battery doesn't help. You have to reset it to it's
default state through the USB link.

Bottom line, I'm very pleased with my new toy.
