blue light special.......2005-12-30

I had this gift on my wedding registry and we received it shortly after our wedding months after it was purchased in it's original box, etc. With the batteries all in correctly, the item doesn't work at all. It blinks but does not allow you to do anything- play it, put the time on it, etc. The only thing that works is the blue light around the mirror. Will write an update on our dealings with the manufacturer.

i received the product and within a week it was already malfunctioning. at this point it is completely useless and almost not worth the postage to return it to the manufacturer. i have never been more disappointed in a purchase and i guess the saying is true,
"you get what you pay for".

GREAT shower CD player!.......2005-09-28

I just wanted to say that I was weary of buying this product - mainly based on the price being much lower than the other name brand shower radios. The other radios complain of poor volume and a CD player that skips when it get too humid...

THIS shower CD player/radio works GREAT! I have it at about half volume or less and it sounds great - so it still has room to get louder even if your shower sounds like a freight train. The CD player hasn't skipped yet (and I have had it for almost 2 months). Battery life is good and radio reception is as good as it can be for being inside of a multi-story steel structure.

I highly recommend this player!

I got one of these for Christmas and the CD player broke the second time I used it. GPX said I had to mail it back to them, which would have cost $30 and send them a check for $15 and then they would replace it. So it would have cost $45 to fix this piece of junk and it only cost $40 to begin with. this is a crappy product and a crappy company.

Good sound, easy to use.......2007-07-06

I'm not a stereo-techno-geek, so perhaps my ears are blissfully ignorant, but for a cheap cable, I thought the sound was great and the cable was easy to use...as in it was very obvious where to plug each part of the cable (and sometimes these things are not so obvious.) I do use it with my ipod, but mostly I use it plugged into the headphone jack of my computer, so I can control the music more easily and directly through the computer but still enjoy the sound through my receiver, the quality seems to be just as good as a cd. Overall, it works great! I've had no problems whatsoever.

i have this cable plugged into my sirius satellite radio from my car stereo. just make sure your car stereo has AUX ports. much better audio quality than using an fm transmitter. have had no problems with it. works great.

I was skeptical that this would work because of the difference in impedance between the headphone jack and the RCA audio jacks. However, this works perfectly. No hum or other unwanted sounds are added to the audio signal.
