Stopped working after 4 months and impossible to throw away / finding battery disposal is a pain in the you know what .

The majority of the weight for this thing is the lead acid backup battery, and after 4 months it started beeping to advise the house power was dead (IT WASN'T) then stopped working as a UPS.

Unplug to reset and it would work for a few minutes, or maybe a few minutes than start to beep again before shutting down when there was nothing with the power.

Warranty is worthless, APC advised they don't cover batteries, just defective UPS and they claimed the battery was damaged or defective.

I've used APC UPS's for over 15 years and their quality has sank ! Finding battery disposal centers that will accept the battery for free is impossible, everyone wanted $5 to dispose of the battery, finally was able to talk an auto parts store into taking it.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY !

Our surge protector died one month and one week after we purchased it--one week over the time given to return it. Now we have to buy a new one after already wasting money on this one. Thanks for nothing. Best Buy, here I come.

My APC unit went bad after the first power loss. Battery back up plugs became useless and the unit began making clicking noises at times. It still serves as a surge protector (I think) but battery function can't be used and noise from the unit is annoying. I'd look at other brands.

If you need something small and simple for maybe two items to back up during a power failure this item works great.

6 outlet version.......2006-07-21

There is a 6 outlet version that looks like this one, but the 6th outlet is on the other side. Do not bother with the 6 outlet one unless you have very narrow width plugs (or only about 4 you need to plug in). For example two typical three-prong plugs will not fit side-by-side. The unit itself has a narrow width three prong plug and it appears that is the standard they used for the spacing.

The concept of these smaller UPS units is nice for all the "little", but critical, gear like routers and ink jet printers. APC usually makes good UPSes, in my experience. However, the 6 outlet version needs to be returned to the drawing board and the engineer given some real world plugs to design by.

Great UPS.......2007-04-28

I have a beefy dual xeon, dual monitor workstation hooked up to this UPS at work and it works great. This unit gives me about 29 mins of uptime under a normal load of 234 Watts. The only imporvement I would make to is unit is the logging of events. The software logs events for the last 24 weeks, I want all of my histoy. The unit also doesn't seem to log brown outs. The lights in our building will flicker on and off and I hear the unit kick in but the event never registers in the log. I'm trying to justify everyone having one and the lack of a good log undermines that.

Bought a SDA off Ebay and when I received it the screen was completely scratched. This product took off all scratches except for 1 really deep one but it did make it look almost new. It does take a lot of buffing but product is well worth it.

I had previously used Displex on an older phone with great success. Now I had a small scratch on my (relatively) new K800. I got the polish out and started rubbing - IT COMPLETELY MESSED UP MY DISPLAY...

Now I probably have to buy a new display or get a new phone! I don't know if they use another material in the new displays, but I would suggest being careful with this product!

I had small scratches on my pda so I went for this product.
I was careful at first because it is touch screen I am dealing with. but I had no result after 3 tims of following the instruction. So I went mad, applied lot rubbed as hard as I could until I could no longer do it because the pain I am feeling on my hand. the pda screen is still the same as old, not even light scratches are gone. but my fingures are very worned out and shiny from rubbing on the cloth too much.

I really enjoy my 110S. I like a camera that does the thinking for me.This has the Active AutoFocus system which really works great; and the zoom is superior and easy to operate. Go from a panoramic to close-ups with ease. Anytime Flash system picked the right setting indoors and out; without any redeye.The viewfinder helps you center your subject and the LED tells you when to focus and the setting is correct. don't know about the other review who panned this little gem but mine is one of the best camera's I've ever had

I tried 2 rolls of film (one 400 and another 800 speed) with this camera. I got about 10 good quality picture (not excellent) and others were bellow average. I returned this camera after that.

Good All-Around One-Touch..........2003-01-23

I was looking for a good, easy, portable camera for vacations and quick snapshots. I am a proud owner of a Nikon F5, but, this camera is not easy to lug around on oneday vacations or a quick snap. This Nikon, given to me as a Christmas present, and it's a winner. It's small enough to fit in my pocket and takes excellent pictures. I give this camera two thumbs up!!!
