Would've liked it more if it had worked properly............2006-04-12
This was my first - and worst mp3 player. Bought this at Toysrus on sale price (20.00). Here's what I think of it:
Pros:
Easy-to-use mp3 loading system (just drag and drop using Windows explorer)
O.K. sound quality - but use better headphones. The ones they provide are crud...
Easy to read screen
Cons:
Extremely frustrating owner's guide
Felt cheap when I held it
Didn't hold more than 60 songs
The menu screen is confusing
The major problem:
Every time I tried loading a song with vocal into this, the device wiped the vocal clean out of the song. Also, the company itself no longer exists so (they changed names - now Nextar)when I went back to see if they had anymore for a replacement, Toysrus said they wouldn't be getting anymore in. I wasted 40 dollars on this company (also bought one for my younger brother and his broke after using it for only 2 days!)...!
Great Little player.......2006-04-03
We bought this for my 13 yr. old after doing a lot of research into the different models of players, memory, features and options. Most of her friends got IPOD's this past Christmas, and while the IPOD is nice, this little player is a great deal for the money. It's small, but the screen is easily read. It's lightweight, and doesn't seem to "eat" batteries too badly (or maybe my expectations were for it to be much worse). It holds a decent amount of songs for a young teen, though my husband feels the memory is too small for his needs. Again, for the price I think it's fine. I take it to exercise and it does beautifully, so when/if my teen decides she needs more memory I will take this one for myself. I walk for 45 mins. and don't repeat any songs- that's about all I want at any one time.
All in all, it's a great little machine for someone who isn't too concerned with setting up different playlists to match their mood. It has nice, basic features in an easy to carry size and weight. It has held up well, looks nice, and is easy to operate. I think it's a great deal for the price.

I just want to say what I faced then its up to amazon or users to do what they decide..the product is ok but something went wrong with the headphone that comes with it,it was cut and I decided to buy new headphone from the company site ( the site is called nextar ) but the problem started her because I sent them several email asking if I can buy but untill now I haven't get any reply all I got is areply saying thank you and we reply soon and thats it and I dont know if there soon is one year or what I wish they would have answered anything even if they said we are sorry we dont have or anything but its not good to ignore.this is what I faced for amazone and anyuser.thank you

All in all not a bad product. However documentation is a bit difficult to understand. The hardest part to get use to with this product is mastering moving through the menu's but other than that very satisfied. I would buy again.

If I could rate it less than one star - I would. The product didn't work from the beginning. We followed the instructions to the letter. The product was a total waste of money and the company never responded to numerous emails. PS-Didn't get it at Amazon.
Eh, it's ok.......2003-12-28
When there are bright white scenes in the movie, the player will not read it and the screen goes black. This is kinda annoying. I have burned CD's with it and it does a good job. You cant switch the CD out and pick songs off another one and burn them though. You have to record the entire CD for it to work. Not my first choice for a product but what did I expect for 150 dollars
The 2500 model.......2003-12-09
I purchased the 2500 model... and right out of the box had an array of problems. ....
Second, it was impossible for me to add chapters.
Third, and most annoying, this model's make compatible command does not work and therefore recorded DVDs cannot be read by other DVD players.
Fourth, Cyberhome does NOT respond to email.
CH-RDV 2000 by Cyber Home, lacking quality.......2003-01-26
I returned this product after playing a half does or so DVD's. I had it hooked to a 1996 27' Sharp via composite yellow cable. I played a half dozen or so DVD's, most brand new. The picture 'flickered' at scene changes. This was very annoying. Some DVD's were worse ( flickering at almost every scene change) than others (flckering 4-5 times per movie). I never got around to recording or even playing cds because the DVD playback was unaceptable. Made in China. Their US customer support was difficult to locate and could not help.
