The radio is great, I use the FM transmitter to send the signal to the radio in my Ford truck. The sound quality is super! I have been using it for over a year and have had no problems. Since I got satellite radio that's all I listen to!!

Wasn't sure at first if the larger size would bother me. The Audiovox Express was my other choice at about half the size. I've decided it easier to work controls and such with the larger unit. It's definitely great to be able to pause and playback sections. Nothing worse than getting a phone call during important news or a great comedian and missing out on what was said. Got a Skyfi boombox at Crutchfield for $70 and was really impressed with the sound for a small unit plus it has great looks.
Delphi SKYFi2 XM Satellite ROCKS!.......2006-06-28
If you're a radio channel surfer, music enthusiast, or road trip junkie, this is a must have unit. I had the original Delphi Roady 2 Satellite Radio system, it was stolen, and now we've upgraded to this superior designed unit. I like the large, easy access tuner/channel selector knob, it's easier to manage as you are driving when compared to the earlier version. The display is must better than it's previous version because it displays 5 channels ahead on a brightly lit screen, much better than the Roady 2! The remote control makes this SKYFi2 legendary because you can drive with your left hand and hold your remote control in your right hand rest your arm on your arm rest as you make your selections. You don't even have to look at the screen as you change the channel and drive! The customer service from XM was fantastic, install was super easy and the set up over the phone took like 5 minutes. The only thing I don't like about the newer version of SKYFi2 compared to it's older version would be the cradle it connects to, it's difficult to disconnect and rather bulky compared to the more simple bracket that held the Roady 2. That's a small gripe, and I'm willing to suffer that small flaw because it's definately a better design, has better controls, comes with reliable customer service, and get's great reception in the flats of New Mexico and Texas-where regular radio and cell reception is dead! When you need reliability, count on Delphi!

Delphi's XM SKYFi2 Radio Receiver offers convenient plug-and-play XM Satellite Radio reception for the car, home, or office, including the first-ever pause and replay functions for satellite radio. Now you can pause or replay up to 30 minutes of live XM programming: the SKYFi2 continuously and automatically saves the last 30 minutes of programming, including programming from multiple XM channels. The unit also offers a stock ticker, a sports-scores ticker, and a built-in wireless FM modulator, and a clock, among other features.
Besides a monthly subscription to XM Radio ($12.95 per month, no contract required), you'll need a car kit (2nd GENERATION CAR KIT INCLUDED), home kit (SA10103), or portable boombox (not included). As part of SKYFi2's pause-and-replay features, you can pause the program you're listening to with the option to play it back within 30 minutes.
Additional SKYFi2 features include a large scroll wheel and a convenient wireless remote control. You can navigate through direct-channel entry from both the receiver and the remote, and you can program up to 30 channel presets (up 10 from the original SKYFi's 20) for one-button tuning to your station of choice. what a great product.......2005-09-08
This is one of those gadgets that everybody raves about it, but you are not quite sure if that hype is beter that the product. Well in this case I'm very happy to say that DELPHY Skyfi2 is an awesome product & XM radion has a great radio line-up. A big plus was that you do not need to be an electronic wizard to hard wire the unit. The unit was very easy to install & with the exception of one trip to the local electronic store for an FM modualtor & the atena "piggy tails" the whole instalation took me approx. an hour & 1/2. My favorite feature of this unit is "play back" mode. In conclussion, go & get your unit & have lots of fun with it.

Adds so much to driving games.......2007-09-11
I recently bought this wheel for use with my PS3 and have been delighted with its performance. It makes a world of difference in GT HD and DiRT making them much more immersive. The force feedback is good, especially in GT, and that games shows how effective a good FF implementation can be - I can't wait for GT5.
This wheel has all the buttons of a PS3 controller except the PS button so compatibility is excellent. It only supports 200 degrees of motion compared to the 900 degrees supported by some wheels but I don't consider that a significant loss. Racing cars have much faster steering ratios than road cars and 200 degrees lock to lock just feels right in racing games.
Guide to using wheel with PS3.......2007-09-10
Although the wheel has quirks with both the PS2 & PS3, the wheel is still definitely worth its price! With a full day of trials & errors, I was surprised that the force feedback was equally inconsistent with the PS2 and PS3. Sometimes I started the game and the wheel worked fine with force feedback; sometimes the wheel worked but the force feedback didn't; sometimes the wheel only worked for multiplayer mode but with no force feedback; and sometimes the game didn't work at all - all this for the SAME game. As you can see, quite frustrating, but when it did work, it's was SOOO awesome that I decided to experiment all day with it. I did more testing with the PS3, so I'll focus on that. For the PS2, some games do state that you must plug the USB into the top port (for older systems - for newer PS2 systems, I don't know which is the preferred port). Similarly, the PS3 has a preferred port.
THE BEST CONFIGURATION FOR THE PS3 IS: 1. plug the USB into port #3 (port #1 also works, but I had more success with #3), 2. turn on the system manually - DO NOT use the PS3 controller to turn it on! This allows for the wheel to be assigned to controller #1 - MOST driving games can not be played in single-player mode when the wheel is assigned to controller #2. Unfortunately, the wheel does not have a PS button to re-assign the wheel or quit the game. If your system was on and a controller was previously assigned to #1, then the wheel usage will be inconsistent. Therefore, it's best to plug in the USB in port #3 and turn on the system manually. This way, I was able to reliably play games with the wheel with force feedback.
GAME COMPATIBILITY: Currently, I only have 6 driving games. The most reliably were Burnout 3: Takedown and Midnight Club 2 (I would assume later games in the series would also work, but not sure about earlier games). Gran Turismo 4 and Need for Speed 2 also worked fine, but it sometimes took several attempts to start the game. Like plugging new USB devices into a computer, sometimes the drivers load correctly, sometimes they don't, so try several times. These 4 games all worked with the wheel with force feedback.
MotoGP3 worked with the wheel, but without force feedback AND it required Pelican's PS2 USB adapter ($15) to be plugged in also:( I think Tourist Trophy should work with force feedback though since it's made by the same makers as Gran Turismo 4. Pelican's PS2 USB adapter is worth it though 'cause it was the only way I could adjust the sensitivity of the wheel. Once the sensitivity is adjusted, it should remain the same as long as the system is on (you can change games and have the same sensitivity). However, I am not sure if the wheel returns to default sensitivity once you turn off the system.
World Rally Championship was the MOST inconsistent (even though Logitech stated that it's compatible). Sometimes it worked with the wheel, and sometimes it didn't (actually, when I got this game to work, Gran Turismo didn't work). I think Dirt (rally racing) for PS3 may work since it stated compatibility with Logitech wheels and the maker's Colin McRae's series was compatible also. You can see the full list of supported games (up to end of 2005, they haven't updated the list) on Logitech's website. The manual sucks hard time!
I will try other games and update this posting when possible.
As for people deciding between this wheel (EX) and the Driving Force Pro, the main difference is that the Pro has 900 degrees turn for SOME supported games (see Logitech's site). While 200 degrees turn for the EX model is arcade-like driving, 900 degrees turn is kinda overkill. Some purists say that 900 is like simulating a race car, but you can only comfortably turn the wheel 270 degrees in each direction (try it for yourself and you'll see) - therefore, 540 degrees would have been more ideal. I think this is a practical observation since several reviewers indicated that it was hard to adapt to the Pro wheel. Besides, the blue rubber of the EX model looks cool and the stick shifter of the Pro model looks bulky (EX's paddle shifter works fine). The final difference between the 2 models (besides price), is the vibration/ resistance motor. The EX model weighs in at 9 lbs, while the Pro weighs in at 15 lbs - that 67% heavier because of it's stronger motor. You may get better vibrations with the Pro model, but many reviewers complained that it was noisy. I did not find that problem with the EX wheel.

I'm looking for a new unit because this Go Video product is worthless. Even if you try tech support you are not going to get any response. All the functions relating to programming a recording on the VCR side do not work. I don't even bother with the DVD recording side. As as simple player it is ok. But, who knows, tomorrow that function may disappear. I don't recommend buying any Go Video product

This is just a great piece of equipment. I currently own (2) VR2940 and looking at purchasing the third unit. It does a fantastic job recording the home movies to DVD and makes a great play back unit. I don't understand some of the previous reviews. You must be able to read the manual and follow directions. The manual is very detailed so normal adults will have an easy time understanding its functionality. You can not just start pressing buttons and expect the equipment to work. Lets face it, it is not brain surgery. It's a VRC comb unit. Buy it, look at the manual, you will love it. The best part is the cover you print for the DVD case, now this is the fantastic part.
Go Video Combo Unit.......2007-01-16
I am sorry so many of you have had problems with your go video recorders. I have a couple vr5940s and have had very little trouble with them. I bought one from Sharper Image, and bought the extended warranty. I had to return the first unit, but the second one has been fine. I also bought one at Cosco on sale. Most DVDs I've used are major brands, and they record fine. I have made 4 hour recordings sucessfully. I have copied many VCR tapes. Some old tapes have dirtied my vcr section heads, but a head cleaner has fixed the problem. Rarely have I come across a DVD that won't read. Once in a while it occurs. I try it in my Sony player or my computer to see if it's a bad disc. So, I am surprised to see so many failures of the 2940. Maybe the 5940 is a better machine. I have 3 or 4 of the earlier VCR to VCR Go Video recorders, and they have always worked fine. So I am amazed at so many failures. I did have a DVD that would not read or eject, and I did have to unplug it to shut it off. And when I plugged it back in I could eject the disk. So I guess I have been very lucky. Truly a piece of junk!.......2006-12-30
I had miltple problems with this one, almost from the day I bought it! The YES video quit working within the first week. I was not able to get any help from customer service so I decided to deal with that and just make dvd's without using the YES video feature. In addition to that after finalizing the dvd's I did make...there were compatability issues with other players as well as the Go-Video player itself. I can honestly say I have never owned any player or recorder that is as unreliable as this one. To top it off the last dvd I made is locked in the recorder and the record light is still on...even if you turn it off and back on again the record light does not go off and I am unable to retrieve my dvd.

I started to get problems using MSN Gaming Zone with my old router (DI 614+). Http Browsing was still ok, but gaming was slow, lagging or unable to enter gaming rooms.
I updated to this router as I also wanted the a network for my xbox 360.
It works fine now both for games on PC (Age of Empires) and Xbox Live.
- Remember to buy the latest model of 774 with one antenna. Has better CPU in it
- The web interface for the setup was a bit confusing for a and g network. But infact both a and g are always on. You just have to switch a button to set the settings separate for each protocol

this is a 2 star or less router which will take you a week of screwing around if you havn't read my review. out of the box the DHCP Server within the router will re-lease lan ip's every 9min, 24/7, constantly restarting the lan, which somehow causes all kinds of seemingly unrelated problems throughout your lan if you don't follow these simple steps. when you get the router home, plug it into the wall, cable modem and computer. turn everything on and wait for things to settle down. log onto the web base interface by pointing your web browser to your new router's lan IP of http://192.168.0.1/ (BTW, 192.168.0.1 is not a public IP . . . it's contained within your local network), admin, no password. click the tools tab and firmware button and download the firmware to your desktop. I had a high-end 802.11b router for two years. When I started having problems, I wanted to go with a dual-band router. This was the cheapest one, but it matched my requirements (built-in switch). Not only was the setup simple and quick, but the network delay caused by my earlier router disappeared. I now have a great wireless network with blazing speed. Wonderful product.
Good range with 2.4Ghz, and Solid Connection.......2003-08-14
I am using a DWL-G650 in my laptop and my wife uses an 802.11a based card in her laptop she uses at work mostly. She gets a good connection from within the room of the office, but if she goes very far away from the room she loses her connection. 802.11a is that way for everyone so it isn't just this router. That is the price you pay for faster speeds.
802.11g is a happy medium with adequate speeds and good range. I can go anywhere in the house and if I am furthest I can get from the router I still get a good 2Mbps transfer speeds which means no slow down in gaming online and surfing online.
The router/AP keeps our connection fairly good. There have been times when we were dropped from the wireless connection, but it came back up in about a minute after that. It happened at completely random times so it might have been something do to with interference or some weird wireless thing. It rarely happens and it fixes itself so everything is fine with me.
I'd recommend it to others and advise in changing the default password, SSID, and enable WEP to actually be secure. You'd be suprised that about 75% of people don't secure their wireless connections.
There are better products........2003-06-09
This was my first dive into wireless. I was very disappointed and immediately thought wireless still wasn't ready for primetime. My whole idea was that I wanted 802.11a so that I didn't get any interference from my cordless phones or my neighbors who are close. DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH 802.11a. Real world distance capabilities in my house were much less than 802.11g on this unit. I used it with a Dlink DWL-AG650 card.
Anyway. A friend at work let me borrow a Netgear WGR614 and it is working much better in my house than this Dlink unit. Zero dead spots using the Netgear on 802.11g with the same DWL-AG650 card. I also haven't experienced any problems in relation to cordless phone interference. The Netgear has better security features anyway.
The Netgear WG511 card had the same performance as the DWL-AG650 card.
Bottom line. There are better units out there.
