The PLANTRONICS MX150 Mobile Headset combines unique Flex Grip design with advanced microphone technology, resulting in a discreet, stable, comfortable headset with superior sound quality.
Amazon.com Product Description
The Plantronics MX150 noise-canceling mobile headset combines the company's proprietary Flex Grip design with advanced microphone technology to deliver a discreet, stable, and high-quality headset. The MX150 is compatible with most headset-ready mobile devices, including models made by Motorola, Samsung, LG, and Kyocera.
The headset's bendable noise-canceling boom mic is designed to provide an optimal fit and high clarity just about anywhere, and the headset's Flex Grip design permits one-handed placement in your ear.
One-touch call answer/end and voice-activated dialing are available for most popular Nokia and Motorola phones, though be aware that voice-activated dialing must be supported by your phone or service for this feature.
The headset uses a standard 2.5 mm input in an L-shaped configuration that limits wear and tear.

Great product........2007-09-21
Also bought their bluetooth unit that looks like this. Both are great products with good sound, good noise canceling mics, comfortable and easy to store. Good price and fits either ear. Recommended.
great for indoor use.......2007-07-17
I'm not sure if the directions mention this but the microphone does not do well outside on windy days. Common sense, right?
For non windy environments, such as indoors, this is a very good and comfortable headset.
I Love This Headset.......2007-07-07
I do love it. I previously had an over-the-head type. It got tangled up in my hair all the time. I was looking for something strictly earpiece.
I bought this for our Uniden DCT646-3 cordless phone set. It works great on my phone. I know it looks weird. In fact, my DH said it looked uncomfortable. Not at all. It does take a little getting used to (not much). The getting used to part is getting it in place, not wearing it.
It looks as though it would be tight, but it's not. You don't even know it's there. The only problem I have with this earphone - If I am wearing earrings, it takes me two phone rings to get it situated in my ear so I can answer the phone.
I can hear quite well through this headset, and my callers can hear me quite well. The little boom does a 180 degree turn, so it is left as well as right oriented. It is small, attractive, and easy to store. I have a tiny hook on the side of my monitor for mine.
I love it!
Broke.......2007-06-13
I give this headset an extra star for being fairly comfortable to wear. The volume is good too...if it's working.
Like some other reviewers have mentioned, this headset's mic is prone to dying out of the blue, which is exactly what happened to mine. So you're having your usual conversation, and all of a sudden the other person can no longer hear you.
I will be buying a replacement headset for my Plantronics phone, but definitely not another of this model. If you do buy this, it might be a good idea to have a replacement ready because it's a huge hassle to have to run off to Radio Shack when your headset dies in the middle of a business call!
Pretty lousy headset.......2007-06-12
I own 3 different headsets for my mobile phone. this by far is the worst and is now somewhere on the floor of my car forgotten but not missed. It is hard to clip it on the ear lobe, and the whole think feels quite flimsy, the mouth piece swings around on its own accord, and the sound quality not so good (i have a convertible and so they need to be quite good to overcome the wind sound maybe they'll work better elsewhere). I have 2 others that work well, of which one is the traditional blackberry headphones that come standard with new blackberry device. they don't look as good but they work better.

Amazon.com Product Description
A well-designed system for home offices or talkative family members, the Motorola MD7081 is built to handle two separate phone lines. Expandable to a total of eight handsets, the system includes a 30-minute digital answering system with two mailboxes. The base system is the only part that requires a phone jack, allowing you to add extra handsets wherever you like. Each handset can operate as part of an in-house intercom system, access conference calls and even function as a baby monitor; each also includes a headset jack and belt clip for hands-free operation.
The answering system is accessible from each handset, as well as the base, and allows memo recording and messages to be forwarded to cell or office numbers. With subscription to local service, each handset is call waiting/caller ID compatible, storing up to 50 names and numbers of the most recent callers. Numbers can be stored, deleted or moved into the permanent phonebook with just a few clicks. Twenty-four selectable ringtones are available, and the base is wall mountable.
With the addition of four AAA batteries (not included), the system will continue to function during power outages. Motorola includes a one-year warranty covering parts and service.

unreadable keys, short range, no mute incoming call.......2007-09-22
I liked many features of this phone but decided to return it because of the following shortcomings:
1. When you are talking on Line 1 and a call comes on Line 2, you can't silence the phone. that makes it impossible to continue the call on Line 1 unless you leave the room.
2. The speaker phone and redial keys are so small as to be invisible. I aksed my friend to look at the phone and turn on the speaker phone. After searching and staring for several minutes she gave up.
3. The range is significantly less than my old Uniden 2.4 Ghz. I used them side by side. I lost the call on the Motorola while I still had a strong signal on the Uniden.
Motorola 5.8GHz Digital 2-line Phone.......2007-09-06
This was actually our second Motorola phone we purchased. We used it it expand our home phone system and we couldn't be more pleased. Unlike other competitors' systems, the Motorola MD7081 is a user-friendly 2-line system that has decent battery life, is attractive to boot, and provides ample volume and quality audio sound. It's feature set is just what we need. It's a must buy digital phone.
If only speakerphon could be louder.......2007-08-28
This is an expensive great phone with caller id, answering system and of course 2 line cordless with speakerphone at base and handset. So all in all would have been a great phone but for the voice volume. Even at the highest volume, you wish you could make it louder at the handset speakerphone. I use the speakerphone a lot and so those who primarily would be using the phone handheld- go ahead and buy it.
Same experience as other reviewers.........2007-08-01
Dont buy this phone!
This phone has all the bells and whitstles I needed. I work from my home office with two phone lines. I really like how easy it is to navigate between two phone lines with one handset.
It worked fine for the first few weeks. Now, every so often it says it is "out of range" and my phone wont connect! Even when it is sitting right on top of the base! Just today, the phone went out of range while on a call just a few feet from the base and the call dropped!
I have read reviews on other websites that had the same problem with this phone suddenly dropping out of range and not connecting again.
On average my phone goes out of range for about 5 minutes then works again.
I will be taking this phone back and shopping for a new one :(
Everything I wanted in a phone.......2007-07-27
I had to retire my Panasonic 2.4 ghz phone because of the conflict with the WiFi on the same freq. It came down to a new Panasonic because I liked the old one so much, or the Motorola because it had one important feature that the others (even the Panasonic) didn't. It works on a battery backup when the power goes out. It also keeps it's time when the power is out, which was always a problem with the Panasonic due to frequent power outages in my area. There seem to be a number of reviews from people that aren't happy with the Motorola, but I've found it to be a great phone. It doesn't interfear with the Wifi at all (the computers antenna is 2 feet from the phone base), it is as easy to program as the the Panasonic and the range is every bit as good as the 2.4 ghz was. It would NOT make a good wall mount phone on it's own, but I wasn't looking for one. The displays are brightly lit and easy to read, more so than the Panasonic and the you need not scroll through the entire phonebook memeory to find someone, you can simply hit their memory position 1,2,3,10,20 or whatever it is. Overall I think this is a fine phone.

Great Cordless Phone.......2007-05-14
Now have five of these cordless phones around my home. They work great for the price. The only weak area is the battery. The battery last about two hours on talk. Not bad.
You will enjoy this phone.
Accessory Handset.......2007-04-21
It works very well. We have 2 handsets in addition to the base and makes it much easier to find a phone to answer. There are also many different options/functions on the phone to make life easier.
A very good extra handset for an expandable phone........2007-04-08
Pretty nice handset. It has speakerphone and intercom features which I like and use very much. Very lightweight compared to previous models.

Love this phone system!.......2007-06-01
I'm the original "technicapped" booby, but even I was able to set up this system. After it arrived (very promptly) it sat around for 8 days and my kids kept asking when I would set it up. I'm the type that goes into a cold sweat whenever I have to deal with anything technical. I've bought umpteen phones and have NEVER entered a number in memory or used any of the features. Well, finally I got out the instructions and read right through the book. My head was swimming. Finally, I unpacked the base unit (I bought the SD7581 with speakerphone and answerphone) and the four extra handsets and charged them for 16 hours, then started registering them to the base unit. Wow! The instructions were bang on, and it all worked. With new confidence I gave each set a name, entered 5 or 6 numbers in the communal phone book, even entered the time on each set. Then I distributed them to our 5 chosen locations. This system is wonderful. The intercom use alone is worth the price...no more shouting "dinner's ready". It's so great to be able to put a handset anywhere you want, without having to have a phone jack. The sound quality is excellent, and if you walk away from the charger with a phone, the name on the viewing screen tells you where it belongs. We very soon realized we should have ordered more handsets, so I bought 4 more. I only wish I'd bought this system years ago instead of struggling with phones in inconvenient locations which always had the handset missing. I'm in telephone heaven...
Hard to find item in Retail Stores.......2007-05-26
I was very pleased with my first order from Amazon. I had trouble finding the the item (A Motorola Expansion Handset Phone to add an additional phone for my sun porch)in Retail stores including Best Buys where I purchased the original set. The delivery was sooner that I expected and the cost was lower than it would have been if I had been able to purchase it at a Retail store.
the best cordless we've owned.......2007-05-15
Every feature behaves as expected, reception is great in both normal and speakerphone modes. The design allows to place the handset on a desk face-down and still communicate over the speakerphone without a problem. Whole family loves it, especially the intercom and the ability to read voice mail clearly from any of the hand-sets. The only drawback is overly bright light on the charging station at night. Motorola should dim that light according to the lighting conditions, or replace this stark blue with a red or amber LED.
Great phone - However, missing basic functionality.......2007-04-30
Sound quality is top notch. Like pretty much everything about this phone except for one thing; when the battery runs down there is no audible warning. It just simply shuts off! There is a "low battery" warning message on the LCD, but your not going to see this when your talking on the phone. Duh! I have used alot of cordless phones and have never had one that did not have this feature. Is this not a extremely obvious thing to include from a design standpoint?
MOtorola expandable cordless telephone system........2007-04-21
Sound quality excellent, distance capabilities good, hand set speaker phone good, not excellent. Set up easy if you read the instructions. Registering each phone to the base unit became easy once I re-read the instructions and found the registration button on the base unit (and not in the menus). Has adequate ring tones on board. These handsets are meant to be kept in the cradle. Otherwise, talk time before battery expiration can become short. Battery installation wire connector gets in the way of the cover. Compared to whats out there, you wont do better for the price.

Wide range of capabilities.......2007-09-06
With the optional bluetooth cell phone dock and regular phone connectivity it is a good phone to have. While there have been some issues with the bluetooth, I feel they are mainly caused by the cell phone and not the docking station. It is a good phone and works great.
nice features, poor battery life.......2007-08-19
good phone, but uses AAA rechargable batterys rather than AA's other phones use, this use of smaller batterys results in a less that 1 hour talk time, i dont ues phone much, but when i do i would expect a longer talk time
JUNK!!!!.......2007-01-31
actually purchased the SD7561...(has no keypad on base) The handsets have terrible static. I was on the phone with Motorola tech support all the time...no handset range, your own voice echoed in the handset....I returned the entire system.
Seems to have everything you could want or need........2007-01-25
I purchased this to replace an old Sony cordless phone/answer machine my Mom had for 10+ years that would hiccup everytime the power fluctuated. This phone has the digital answer machine we needed and much, much more that we didn't need. She is happy with the features she uses but was a bit intimidated by all it offers. The only thing I can vouch for is that it seems to have good battery life, sound quality, and the answer machine has worked much better in the few months we've had it, so we are happy. It does have battery back-up so you don't have to re-record your message constantly due to power fluctuations, which solved our most frustrating problem with the older Sony. I would recommend this phone to meet the normal users needs, and probably many of those wishing for more. I like the fact that you may expand the system, something we might consider in the future.

Doesn't show missed calls.......2007-05-22
Phones okay like any other, but just okay, doesn't show missed calls.
Like having a conversation under water.......2007-04-11
We returned the phone after using it for only one day, due to the atrocious voice quality. Callers on the other end of the line could only be heard properly if the volume was turned all the way up, but at full volume you hear your own voice magnified. The range of the phone was also poor, on every channel. To top it off, our answering machine message sounded like we were speaking with our hands over our mouths while we recorded it. Not recommended.
Disapointing after 2 years.......2007-04-05
Shouldn't things last longer? How long have we been making telephones? I was happy with my my Motorolla phone for the first year. I didn't use it a lot (my cell phone is my primary number) though used the Motorolla for local calls and to screen calls from mortgage broakers, etc. After about a year, the keypad started going out (intermittently), it's gotten so bad that I can no longer use it to dial out. Just recently, there is an aweful static in the handset- it's junk now. If Motorolla can make a tiny cell phone that stands up to daily wear and tear you'd think making a big, clunky, old-tech, landline cordless would be no problem and it would last...
Great phone.......2007-03-26
I bought this phone for my daughter and she loves it. She says it has a nice design and good features. She likes the fact that it lights up too.
Good Product for the Money.......2007-03-11
I was a little reluctant buying this phone because of the price. I have never had much luck with low priced phones, so I bought a high-end GE with a high-end cost. I hated everything about that phone from day-one and only lasted 3 years before the buttons started to fail and couldn't make calls. Enough about the crappy GE. Let's talk about the Motorola...
I decided to take a chance on the Motorola MA561 because Motorola seems to be a good product for me, from cell phones to walkie-talkies. This phone is NO exeption. Easy to set up, easy on the eyes, easy on the wallet, and the clarity is awesome!! I highly recommend this phone!!
I have to admit that the person who said the wall mount was awkward is right. Don't buy this if you intend to mount it on the wall. I have an old vintage rotary phone hanging on the wall, and it will stay there in case the electricity goes out. Plus it looks cool.

Works Great.......2007-07-19
I read some reviews of this phone saying that it had static, but ours works great. In general you should not put cordless phones near computer, tvs, or microwaves, so that might have caused the problems. My only complaint is that the ring tones are very electronic sounding and most are very annoying. Otherwise it is a great phone/answering machine system.
Wonderful phone.......2007-05-14
I have had the phone for a week now and love it. It is a very compact nice looking phone, easy to place calls with, manual easy to understand, great reception, easy to clip on the belt. The answering machine is working wonderful, I hear the messages very clear, not need to play them again. I replaced my old 2.4 GHZ AT&T phone.
The 3 C's "Crisp Clean Clear".......2007-03-25
I use this phone as a VOIP and it has a crisp, clean and clear sound. When I first set up the phone system I discovered if the base is to close to any electronic equipment then an echo is heard. Once I discovered this and made the necessary changes the sound has remained "Crisp, Clean and Clear!"
Phone.......2007-02-21
Phone had all the features I was looking for and at a good price. It arrived sooner than I expected and in excellent shape. Would definitely recommend and purchase again from this seller.
Slightly staticy.......2007-02-09
I had this phone for 3 days before sending it back. It added some very slight static to the calls. To make sure it was not my line causing it, I plugged it directly into the wall at various points around the house, and I could hear the static even when it was not plugged into the phone jack. I think some people may not hear this or be this picky, but it was not that good for outgoing quality either. People on the other end told me I sounded a bit metallic when I switched between old and new phone and let them do an A-B comparison.

Perfect!.......2007-05-29
Since I have seen some bad reviews on this phone I thought I would clear some things up. I just got this phone a few days ago with an additional cordless unit. The phone is simply amazing and more than I expected. Call clarity is perfect for both the corded and cordless handsets. I am using it with a cable phone service btw. The display is informative and easy to read. You can view the phonebook on the cordless handsets after programming them on the base unit. You can name the base or cordless handsets if you like so you know where everything belongs. For example, you can name a handset "Living Room" or "Bedroom" so if you have more than one, you know where to return them too. Range is also better than I expected. My daughter took one cordless down to the end of our block and it was crystal clear. I would certainly purchase this again or recommend it to friends.
Good phone and value........2007-05-07
It has what is says and it does it too. Warranty guaranteed by Motorola. Fair price. Voice clarity in doubt.
If you have a VOip phone , deactivate the voicemail in you phone service, because if you don't, your phone display will show incoming voicemails but when you listen to them, the phone-base display will keep on showing them as if they were new and never listened to them; and you will have to return the phone for warranty to Motorola.
Can't mute the outgoing message or call screening on the base unit!!.......2007-05-06
I bought this phone as on impulse at RadioShak relying on Motorola's reputation. I guess I should have used my cellphone to check the Amazon reviews before buying it! I was very surprised to find that you cannot mute the outgoing message or call screening on the base unit. So surprised that I checked with Motorola and they confirmed this. Basically it's badly designed which is extraordinary given the experience Motorola has - for goodness sake, it's their business. Anyway, fortunately this is a low use line and I am only using one of the two line inputs in an area where people will not be disturbed by the uncontrolable call screening. The only good thing is that the phone combines corded with cordless and so will still be useable if there is a power cut.
Excellent phone.......2007-04-10
Love this phone. Convience of a wireless and the ease of use of a corded phone. Excellent display. Great choice of ringers.
waste of money.......2007-03-20
this phone has been the worst purchase I have made in a long time. you can only link one base unit with mulitply handhelds, (ie: no intercom capability between them). it won't store the new time with the early day lights savings time. you have to be RIGHT ON TOP of the screen to see the display, the wall bracket does not double at a tilt to make the display easier to read from your desk. motorola is USELESS.

The most problem I've faced with this phone That the Caller ID not working and if there is missed call there is no any singe about it! really its very weird! Any other Panasonic phone gonna be better.
My favorite!!!!.......2007-04-03
I absolutely love my phone. I have 2 extension handsets with it. It's my favorite "toy" in the whole house. You can change the ringtone, use the phone or handset as a walkie talkie, or intercom! Best of all the speaker phone is clear and loud as if you had the phone on your ear. I'll never go back to an ordinary cordless phone.
More than 1 year used!.......2006-12-23
And I loved. I bought in december 2005 and the product still working perfect. I RECOMEND
Terrible telephone.......2006-12-17
This seems like a nice idea, but Motorola's excution is terrible. The phones now have a battery life that can barely last one reasonabley long call. The sound quality is average, at best, and they drop calls willy-nilly. I would never have bought these phones knowing this, and I will be avoiding Motorola for a long time to come.
Looks nice, lot of nice features, a couple issues that ruined it for me........2006-05-31
I'd have to agree with the jazz guy's review. There are some design flaws here. I did find out how to change the # of rings on the answering machine when I called the service line. You go to devices under menu and choose answer base, then there is an option to change it there.
As stated above, there is no way to turn off or change the volume on the base ringer. This defeats the volume control on the handset.
They state on the box that 15 ringtones can be used to identify incoming callers. This really means you can choose 1 ringtone for everyone in your phone book and another for everyone else. I expected to set a ringtone for each person. Not possible.
Lastly, there is no speed dial. Just an option to choose from your phonebook which often takes more effort than dialing the number. For these reasons, I will be heading back to the store today to exchange. I should have stuck with Uniden. Had a great one for 5+ years.

Customer Reviews:
Great product.......2007-09-24
I have read previous reviews before buying. I think this product is great. I have had no problems, I can walk a block away and still have great reception. The sound quality is good but not the greatest. That is rating it with a corded phone. I would recommend this phone.
my little airport.......2007-09-09
The phone works well if you are 20 feet away from the base, after that, people cant hear you speak. My advice is get a battery for the base so that if you loose power you do not need to set the clock. This has to be the hardest task, setting the clock! Absolutely amazing how complicated they made it. Oh, and I call it my little airport because it flashes all sorts of lights! Drove me crazy, till I set a few things like the clock. It works well for its intended use.
Does what is says - was a lot less expensive than exp. unit.......2007-08-26
Bought this rather than another expansion unit ($60 vs. $129) for the basement. Didn't really need the answering machine, but it doesn't hurt anything. The speakerphone works well. Would recommend if you already have the MD6xx system and want to get another handset before you can't find them anymore.
Short battery life/complicated to operated.......2007-07-16
I`ve had this phone for about 2 years now and again on the market for a new phone. And it`s not going to be Motorola.... We bought this phone because it looked rigged and solid, plus I liked the idea of rubbon buttons but then I realized that because of this, the paint is coming off too fast. About 8-10 month after having this phone we noticed battery life shortened significantly. My phone bill is $18-20/month (most of them taxes and fees) because we don`t use phone that much but still we had to recharge battery literally everyday. I had couple times battery die during calls. Very hard to operate: my wife still didn`t learn how to page handset. The other annoying thing is when you listening to messages you can`t delete the message at the end of it because it goes straight to playing next message. You eather have to do it during the playback or just delete entire mailbox. I tried couple of times to delete message at the end but ended up deleting next messages. And the last reason why I wouldn`t buy another Motorola phone because messages playback is totally useless: you can`t understand a word with all the noices it records. We used to have Panasonic 2.4 cordless and quality of message recording was much clearer.
Save yourself the aggravation..........2007-07-10
I've had this phone for only a month and the handset is so static ridden and unreliable that it has become unusable. When I contacted the seller their response was, "We did not get such complaint fronm other customers," and I was directed to contact Motorola. After navigating the perils and pitfalls of the Motorola warranty I have decided to simply purchase another phone and cut my losses before this experience costs me more than it already has. If you are looking for a shoddy (at best) product with little to no support from the seller or manufacturer then this is the phone for you. If, however, you are not excited about wasting your time and money then save yourself the aggravation and avoid this product.
