Didn't Last Long..........2003-01-07

This was a great idea for a phone that solved my problem of being able to put a phone into a room where there was no phone jack. It is a clever looking phone that allows you to change the color of the faceplates.

I used this phone for 6 months - it worked just fine, my calls sounded pretty good. The phone would last about 2 days before I had to recharge it...

The problem I have with this phone is that I dropped it once -- and now it does not work. I have tried everything from recharging it for days to replacing the battery. Now I understand that it's my fault for dropping the phone - but I believe cordless phones whould be built sturdy enough to withstand the occasional drop or knock off the coffee table.

I've tried to contact the manufacturer, but received no response from them in trying to fix the phone or order a replacment part. My only recourse seems to be that I have to buy a new one...

Bought this one to use at home. Made sure to ventilate it well based on other customer reviews and we've never had the problem with getting shocked. However, it won't play any of our kids' Disney DVDs - guess they are just too loaded (special editions), none of the LOTR DVDs that we have, most of our Film Movement movies (too much extra with all the subtitles?), etc. So we've relegated it to our cabin where it gets used infrequently and only with older DVDs. Might be good as a backup, but don't count on it for every day use.

slim, small and compact. cheap all plastic body. the drive for light weighted design and cost cutting recuded reliability and durabiligy. You won't expect it work for your for over 2 years if your are heavy-duty user. portable design allows you to bring it with you on the run. You may even use it in your car without power converter because the DVD player used standard 12 voltage power.

can play dvd, vcd, svcd, mp3, photo disks with jpeg format files(nice feature, you can view your CD photo album on your TV!), some older avi format(doesn't support latest avi file in motion picture format of those video clips shoot by all Canon digital camera, this is big mistake Koss made).

It won't support real player file, mpeg-4 format, or any other newer computer based movie format.

some fussy about this player is that it produces a lot static charge on it after you played a disk. when you hand touches any button on the player you get electric shock! it is very annoying i guess that's because its body cannot be connected to ground on power outlet due to its design with converter power supply and the heavy of plastic material in the player body. you have to hold your car key to touch the button getting the player discharged! i see many times strong static discharges when i use my car key touching those buttons!

Very bad DVD player.......2006-01-28

Ordered brand new from Amazon. Within 15 minutes of the first plug in, player made a lot of loud spinning noises. On top of that, skipping happened every two minutes or so. I rushed to Amazon and requested a RMA right away. I bought it for the compactness, but quality is very bad.

I only use this for Skype, so this is not a detailed review.

This headset is great for Skype. All I need from it is for it to be bearable to wear for short periods of time; I need to be able to understand the other person; and the other person needs to be able to understand me. This headset fulfills all those requirements, so I am a happy customer.

For the price, you can not ask for more. The only issue I've is that it can be a little uncomfortable on top of the ear on the wire side.

Some Issues.......2007-09-05

All in all, it works fine. It doesn't actually stay in place very well when worn as intended, though. And you probably won't wear it as intended for very long because it has hard and sharp plastic that bites into your ears making it truly painful to wear for any length of time. I wear it so the earpieces are actually above my ears and the mic boom just moves to a different position, and it's tolerable to wear but I only use the mic portion. If I need to use the headphones as well, I just suffer the pain ... until I find a better headset. The sound quality is good, though.

My search for a replacement headset is over.......2007-08-13

I had a GE headset that was almost identical to this one, but my kids broke the plug somehow. I tried to get a replacement, because I really liked it, but they don't seem to be making them any more. I tried out a few different headsets, but didn't find any that were quite right. I found one that I was fairly satisfied, but a friend of mine broke them, too. Then I came across this pair, which blows everything else I've used away. They are super comfortable and have great sound. Playing online games, I have never had a complaint about my mic. Works great on Skype, too.

Functional, but may be painful........2007-08-12

This set works as advertised. The sound quality is probably what you'd expect from headphones at this price - not a lot of lows but overall pretty clear. My main complaint is that after a relatively short period of wear this set can be fairly painful where the plastic piece sits between your head and ear. Your mileage on this may vary. Good performance for a cheap headset as long as you can wear it comfortably. This headset is NOT USB.

Allegiance to a mouse is a bit odd, but this is one thing I couldn't do without. I have four of them and have given half a dozen as gifts. The effective use of 7 buttons w/ popup lists makes it amazing. Not to mention that it can be configured for every application you use.
I was just setting it up for Aperture today, using keyboard shortcuts in the popup menu. I defined several common tasks for the front buttons chording, thus I don't have to take my hand off the mouse, move to a keystroke combo, then back to the mouse. I'd give it six stars if there was such a thing.

Well this is the mouse that I now use! It is great and very comfortable. it is also one of the rare mice breed that actually meets my preferencial requirements. It works great and I have ordered three of these things (The other two are being used by some close family members of mine for their computers) They are awesome!

keep hitting the side buttons.......2007-04-13

I was looking for a 5 button mouse to replace my old one. Its fine as a mouse but the 2 buttons on either side are way too easy to hit accidentally. If you cup the mouse sort of like you are holding a baseball you wont hit those buttons but who uses a mouse like that? Most folks sort of reach for the mouse and put their hand on top of the mouse and that's where you start hitting the side buttons. My old mouse put the buttons closer to the front.

I got this mouse a few days ago, so I cannot comment on the quality of the mouse itself. However, this is the first USB-mouse I have ever encountered that MUST have an installation CD to work. After installing the software on my portable computer, I realized that my touchpad had stoped working. After a lot of consultaion (I have not advanced competence in computer skills) I figured that the software had unistalled my previous drivers, making my touchpad mouse malfunktion. I had to reistall this, only to realize that now my kensington mouse did not work. After a lot of trouble I finally got it to work, but this is not the way a typically plug and play product such as an USB-mouse are supposed to work in my mind!!

I have this mouse for 4 years, never has any problem, except the rubberized surface warn out, very reliable. I was motivated to write this review as my new Creative Lab Fatal1ty 1010 mouse dead after 3 months, and I need to pay over $30 to get repaired, Forget about it!

This is not fancy, but very reliable. So I buy another kensington wireless mouse, so far very satisfied.
