Great Monitor........2005-04-04

I bought this at Wal-Mart and I am very pleased with it. The only bad thing I can say about it is the cord you plug into the back of it does not click in so it can fall out if you move the monitor around a lot. I have my settings at 1024 x 768 with the refresh rate at 75 Hertz and 32 bit color and it looks great. It is really nice when watching DVDs or playing games on it. The built in speakers is also a nice feature for those without a lot of room on their desk. I have a 5 speaker surround sound set so I don't use the built in speakers but I did try them out to see how they sound and they do sound good. It is a little high priced but if you want a good LCD flat screen monitor with speakers built in this is a good choice to make.

Read the fine print, bad seller.......2006-07-24

This is not a good seller, although this burner is quite good. In our case, here are the pro and con of this item and our transaction... Also, I got an email in October 2006 from some folks on eBay banding together to file a class-action suit against this seller (in Jew Jersey), just FYI.

Pro:
-Drive itself is fast and a name brand with good quality
-Good price
-Quick delivery
-Hardware itself is compatible with Mac

Con:
-Had to go to the internet to download unsupported 3rd party software from a Dutch guy to make it work... plus two hours of my time and lots of trial and error
-Not same as the picture... put into cheap enclosure without warning... footprint much larger
-Emails get automated responses which aren't helpful... getting a real email from a person was hard to do
-Seller is big on eBay, too busy to deal with us. In the month we bought from this guy, he got like ~20 other negative feedbacks with similar complaints as ours
-If you look on the internet, I found two sites dedicated to how much they hate this seller. I'd list the names, but they were quite vulgar.
-It appears to us that claims made that unit is "factory sealed" were only technically true... factory sealed = "Narro-factory sealed" and not factory sealed by the original manufacturer.

In my opinion the bottom line is: a very good product for the computer savvy-user who won't have any problems and doesn't mind minor variations in unit configuration.

Might as well sell your originals after making backups with this burner, won't need your originals anymore. Make some extra $$$. DVD Decrypter is an excellent Software to use With this burner. It works very effectively along with this burner for doing your burning needs. The burner has a built-in cooling fan also, so as it is burning, it cools itself, and disperses air from the components from within-side the unit for an effortless dispertion of data-flow. It certainly adds a lot of clarity to my screen, and makes reading easier on the eyes. The downside is it does reflect things that are on this side of the screen. I have found that I don't really notice that I can see my reflection; however, it would be nice if it took care of both sides of glare.
