Terrible, DO NOT BUY.......2005-05-18

Fortunately, I received this as a gift, as I would be extremely mad if I had wasted $350 on this. After having it for under 5 days, the screen mysteriously cracked without it being touched in any way!

I've read numerous other reports of this happening. The screens on these will crack just sitting on the docking cradle. HP says that it's "accedential damage" and that it's impossible for it to be a defect. You can send it in for an evaluation, if they deem it to be "accidental damage", they will chard $215 to fix the screen. If you choose not to have them fix it, they will charge you $80 just to ship the broken thing back unrepaired.

About me, I'm a full-time employee at a very large software company associated with this device. I'm quite familiar with these devices, both how they work and how they should be treated. I am convinced that a significant portion of these devices are shipping with defective screens that they won't replace. Don't take your chances with HP, buy a different PocketPC.

Great design, great pictures.......2007-09-23

I've had this camera for about 5 years now and it's still going. It's reliable, takes good pictures {for the 2.0 megapixels it has}, and it's easy to carry around.

I take pictured constantly and this camera has held up really, really well. I would even recommend it for someone who wants to buy it now, 5 years after its release date - but for casual shooting only.

The downside is the blurriness of specific "scene" modes - night scenes as well as the "indoor" scene mode. If you keep it on portrait mode though or just manual, it's more than fine though.

My dad brought me this camera when they first come out. I had it for over 6 years and everything works great....my battery still alive and it tooks nice pictures. Just until recently, i found some kind "oily" spot appera on the every my pictures. I guess it is old enough for me to retire.

My Nikon 2500 Coolpix camera died on me today after 3 faithful years of service. The murderer has been apprehended. She is said to be a mischeivious 18 month old girl with an appetite for shiny objects with buttons. This is not her first murder conviction and it probably won't be her last . . .

This camera was my first digital camera and I used the heck out of it! At last count I have taken over 200,000 pictures. I used it for an online buisness and for personal family use. I bought it refurbished so I expected it to have problems from the get-go, but it was great up until it's early demise.

The amazing unique feature on this camera was the tilting lense feature. I can't tell you how many times I used it. The camera was also very easy to use and understand, especially for the beginner - like I was. The battery life was Okay, it usually died on me after about 100 shots.

The flaws on this camera are common flaws seen in any digicam this size. The lense is really small so low light or indoor pictures are awful. I missed a lot of adorable shots of my children indoors because of this issue. Red Eye is awful as well. The outdoor full sun pictures were really nice though, some of them positively stunning.

Since I use my camera indoors mainly I decided to go with a camera twice as expensive this time around. One with a big lense!

Neat Camera but went dead after 19 months.......2006-06-26

This was pretty good deal for me or atleast it looked to me till 1 week before. One fine day, it suddenly stopped working and it is showing me image only when the swivel lens is turned towards the photographer. Now it has started showing me SYSTEM ERROR and makes lot of noise when I turn on\off the camera. This is nice deal provided you are ready to spend couple of hundered dollars for 12-20 months of use. After that be ready to buy a new one.

This product is easy to install and at first I thought it was great. But after a few hours of steady streaming, the 'wireless' light goes off and the connection is dropped. If you power-cycle the unit, then it works again (most of the time). But it just disconnects again after a few more hours.

Very frustrating. I would buy a different product.

This product is horrible and Linksys tech support is even worse. I spent a month trying to get it to work on my own and finally contacted Linksys. The first person could not even spell my name (Ray) let alone assist me with hooking it up. I spent over 5 hours on the phone with the next person and still did not get it to work. I had to pay shipping to send it back to Linksys and when they sent me another unit, it did not work either. The replacement was a refurbished unit - Thanks a lot, I paid for a new product initially and now I have a refurb! It's complete with a xerox copy of the quick setup guide and a burnt copy of the setup disc. This product is completely worthless in my opinion. I work on a tech support help desk with my job and deal with computer problems for a living and this piece of equipment is worthless. I have a D-Link router that I am trying to connect it to and it simply will not work. Will never buy Linksys again! This product is not even worthy of 1 star but that is as low as I could go.

Great for installing Linux, until USB-WiFi support improves.......2007-02-03

I had a box I wanted to use for a Linux install. All I had was a USB WiFi adapter and an ethernet socket, with no easy access to a live ethernet port.

There is no Linux distibution yet that I know about that can automatically handle the process of configuring USB, and then seeing a network through a USB WiFi adapter. Even Ubuntu, which does a terrific job setting up USB out of the box, could not see and configure my WiFi adapter.

This does the trick. True, it is a little bit of a technical process to configure your network and security settings, but if that is a problem for you, then you are not likely to be interested in this use of the device anyway. (If you are just trying to get your x-box on-line for example, and have anything other than a wide open wireless network, be ready to learn a little tiny bit about TCP/IP networking to get through.)

I love the fact that I can just plug this thing into any creaky old piece of low-end computing hardware with an ethernet socket, and have network connectivity instantly, and wherever I want to work.

Worthless.......2007-01-21

This might be the worse electronic produce I ever bought. I was so disappointed. The only reason I choose this over it's competitors is because I wanted to stay with Linksys (I have the router from Linksys)thinking that it would make installation easier. Nothing could be further from the truth. After following the instuctions word for word and fumbling with it for several hours I called the linksys help number. They remained on the phone with me for about 90 minutes trying to assist me in the installation and why it wasn't connecting. I will say the service tech was nice although he was unable to help and evenutally told me that I must have a defective unit and to take it back. So I did and got a new one only to have it not work again. After another few hours and help from friends who have similar Game Adapters from other companies installed I gave up and bought a refurbish Netgear one for 1/3 the price that worked right away. It's possible that I received two defective units but what are the odds? It doesn't matter I'll buy from other companies from now on. I no longer trust linksys.

Great KVM switch.......2007-08-08

I purchased this KVM a couple of months ago, and I have been incredibly satisfied. The setup was extremely easy--just connect the generously long 6' cables to each of your two computers, and then connect your peripherals and monitor, and you're done! Like most KVM switches, there are no drivers to install, and the switch automatically switches between the computers with a quick double-tap of the scroll lock key. Other features I found useful is the auto scan feature, which will scan back and fourth between the computers at an interval you can set.

As for the performance, the video quality is very good--I found no flaws in the video it switched. As for the keyboard and mouse, both still work fine, and there is no keyboard error when I start up either computer because the KVM emulates a keyboard, so even when you are not viewing a particular computer it still believes there is a keyboard and mouse hooked up to it.

Overall this is a great purchase, and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice quality KVM without draining their wallet.

This KVM was released in 2002 and I think it just wasn't made for current machines. I tried to use the KVM with two Dell WinXP boxes, one with PS/2 connections the other with USB. Another reviewer said using a PS/2 to USB converter would work and since I'm already using such a converter for my keyboard I figured it wouldn't be an issue.

The keyboard on the USB machine never once worked, and after hitting the Scroll Lock twice to toggle the machines it wouldn't work with either machine. I didn't try plugging in the mice and there were no issues with the monitor, but if I can't get the keyboard to work it's worthless to me.

Excellent KVM switch!.......2007-06-27

For a cheap KVM switch you can't beat it. KVM switches are expensive at some stores. Office Depot had one for $90. This one was only $12. Excellent value and works great.

Blurry image at higher resolutions, 20" Dell monitor could not sync.......2007-06-13

The product descriptions claims that it works for resolutions up to 1920, my experience was different.

When i plugged it into my Dell 2005WFP (20" wide) monitor and changed the resolution to 1680x1050, the image initially appeared very blurry. Invoking "Autosync" from the monitor setup menu, caused the image to sift over to one side of the screen leaving approx. 1/3 of the screen black (1/3 of the desktop was invisible)

This happened both when using a T60 laptop with an ATI X1300 graphics chip and a desktop with GeForce 6200 (by ASUS)

Both sources work perfectly OK when connected to the monitor directly using a VGA cable (D-SUB)

It did, however, work with Adesso PS/2 to USB Adapter, connects 2 PS/2 connectors to 1 USB port/hub (ADP-PU21 ) , which I thought was nice. (T60 does not have a PS2 port, but i still was able to use the KVM switch with it)
