Good Small Business Printer.......2007-02-14

This is our second printer of this model we use in our small business. We print about 50 pages a day of medical transcription.

I like this printer because of the low initial cost and low cost for toner replacement. Very economical and great print quality.

It has a little trouble with thicker papers which may have to be hand-loaded.

Erasable toner = blah.......2007-01-19

Despite the fast printing speed, after I print out text, the set toner can easily be erased and rubbed away (minus one star). Another thing is that there is no manual duplex option, not even a "print out odd pages" and "print out even pages" function in the provided software (minus another star).

Best little printer I've ever owned.......2006-12-20

This oki is fast, very fast. 23ppm. It seems to use very little toner which is available on the web or on ebay at reduced cost. I have owned similar Okis in the past and can tell that other reviewer he may have a bad drum. The drum is essentially responsible for the paper jams.

If that drum had leaked in shipment thats what I suspect. Oki has 24/7 service and overnight on this printer for 1 year. The printer also has a rear paper path so the paper does not have to curl around and come out on top. I use that for heavy stock paper and definitely for labels. Thanks Oki for making such a superior product. Oh yeah it prints beautifully!

The B4250 is nothing but a flimsy piece of junk.......2005-01-12

I had my Okidata OLE810 for at least 12 years. What a great machine. My best guess is I used at least 30 drums. It finally gave it up....it owes my nothing.

I just bought the B4250. What a flimsy piece of junk. Constant paper jams since the paper must make *2* VERY tight U-turns inside the machine. Whoever designed this has apparently never used a printer in real life.

The list in the manual detailing what kinds of paper you *can't* use is very, very long. To use heavy paper, like pricey letterheads or card stock....the only option is to feed them in ... o n e ... a t ... a ... t i m e. Wish I had that kind of time.

It is VERY fast...when it works. Regular hammermill white paper kept jamming. Run of the mill (sorry about the pun) paper seems to be a problem.

It shipped with the toner leaking all over. My hands were black by the time I got it set up.

Sorry Okidata....but it's time for me to move along. Whoever decided that paper can make 2 tight U-turns and be reliable needs to find another line of work. Try a job or office that actually uses it's printer and get some daily hands-on experience before designing another one.

A year and a half with the Okidata B4250.......2006-12-11

I've had my Oki B4250 for about a year and a half now. This printer may be one of the best purchases I've made. It's very durable and quite reliable. Despite being a college student who prints out stuff all the time (approximately 60 pages a week,) the printer's toner lasts a very long time. In fact, I'm about to replace the original toner cartridge now. The printer prints very quickly, with excellent quality output. It works like magic; I've never had to coax it to work. I'm very satisfied with it.

Could be worse.......2005-10-13

The pages printed per minute is great, but after filling the paper tray the first time (I don't think I got it too full) the printer makes noises if I put more than a half tray of paper in and they when it stops mid file for more paper it wastes a lot of paper printing out junk on each page when it restarts. Sometimes the first line of print on the paper isn't complete either.

I don't know that I would buy another one, but it's hard to find a reasonably priced printer with this kind of output.It seems a shame to make what could be a good printer such a throw away.

Pay a Little Extra.......2007-08-28

I have an iPod Photo that I got before the Video came out. I woudl definetly splurge the extra money to get a video. The Photo is clumky and has a very small screen. It is hard to find hardware and accessories for it because they don't make it anymore. I would definetely advise to NOT buy this product. Used ones can be good if they come at a good price. But I would not buy it for full price.

With the capacity to hold 5,000 songs or 20,000 photos, or any combination of the two, I don't know if I will ever be able to use all the memory I have available to me.

An Outstanding and Very Reliable Music Player.......2006-10-08

This is my third iPod, and just like the one's before it, it has delivered consistent performance and high quality sound. The iPod is a great looking player and the color screen adds a wonderful dimension for viewing photos and album art. I never have to worry about developing or printing photos anymore; instead I load them onto my iPod to share with friends and family (it's a lot easier than carrying around a photo album).

I've owned this particular player for a over a year now, and have never had any technical problems with it. I used to use it on a Windows computer before making the switch to a Mac, and I experienced seamless integration with both operating systems. It is very, very easy to put music on it with iTunes. The iPod has the most simple, easy to use user interface of any music player on the market, and the click-wheel makes navigating menus, photos, and music effortless.

Another important point is sound quality. I have listened to my iPod through ear-bud headphones (included Apple ear buds), in-ear headphones (Ultimate Ears), over-the-ear studio headphones (Sony DJ Headphones), and desktop speakers (Klipsch 2.1 Multimedia Speakers). No matter what the medium the iPod delivers consistent, quality sound, even at high volumes, with minimal distortion. The entire frequency range is heard through the iPod, which is particularly important to me.

There is a reason the iPod has taken off in the past few years, it consistently delivers great sound and features through an elegant and intuitive interface.
