Ultra slim wireless remote shutter trigger for Nikon SLR N65 , N75 , and Lite Touch compact models 110s, 130 ED / Pouch Included
Customer Reviews:
Works per design.......2007-09-27
This product works just as it is designed to do. Note: due to the limitations of camera operations, some features are not available w/ the infrared remote. The only time you can use the infrared remote, is when you have the wireless remote turned on; this works in instant picture mode and timer modes ONLY. It is, however, great for landscape, self-portrait and other situations that you'd need remote shutter control or minimal/no camera shake. Keep this in mind with your purchase, and you'll be happy you got this added tool.
How to pair the ML-L3 wirless remote control with your Nikon D 80 camera.......2007-09-23
I was quite worried when I brought the ML-L3 remote control for my Nikon D 80 camera because the Nikon website did not include this product in the list of accessories for the D 80. I also got mixed reviews from certain customers form Amazon. I have brought this product and it woks perfectly with the D 80. Go to the cnet link here to find out how to pair the device with your D 80. These instructions are hard to find in the instruction manual.
http://reviews.cnet.com/4660-10621_7-6718797.html?tag=vid.2
It's okay..........2007-09-21
This remote works fine, but not great. The range is somewhat limited and you have to point the remote directly at the camera for it to work. As a result, I have recently taken a lot of photos of myself trying to get the dumb thing to work.
On the other hand it is very small and extremely handy, just don't misplace it or you never may see it again!
Fine product; poor instructions.......2007-09-09
Let me state right off the line, that this is a very good product, giving a wireless remote control solution that is both cheap and easy to use. Great for including yourself in family or scenic photos without having to outrun the self-timer. It also ensures that you will not shake the camera pressing the shutter release in longer exposures.
That said, setting up your camera to receive the remote's signal is not intuitive (at least, not for me). Compounding that, no instructions are included with the product. I first thought the controller was broken.
Compounding that, there are instructions buried in my D80's manual, but they are simply not found with a logical search of either the table of contents or the index. After an email to Nikon (and a strong recommendation to throw in an instruction sheet), everything is fine.
With that caveat, buy this product. If a brief instruction sheet were included, this product would easily get a five-star rating from me.
Works on D80.......2007-09-08
Straight forward to use, however it has to point to the sensor area on the camera body, not very wide range as I had thought. Still, it is something good to have.

Customer Reviews:
Worth the price savings!.......2007-09-13
A great wireless remote for you DSLR. Fraction of the cost of the Nikon specific brand and accomplishes the same results. Only drawback is pushing the correct button to actuate the shutter. But for a few bucks, I won't complain!
It works as claims, but not all buttons are for you!.......2007-08-29
I have a Nikon D70s and with this remote, even though it show a lot of buttons only one button works for the D70s. Now if I should ever need to operate a Canon, Olympus, Minolta or Pentax then I set for life. They all have more options.
Could be half it size for my Nikon D70s since only the shutter function does anything.
Can not beat the price and does what you want........2007-08-15
I have had no problems with this remote on most of my Nikon, Canon, and Olympus cameras. Shutter control is very fast, no delay and the range is very good. It is very light and small. I would give it 6 stars if possible.
Do not buy this.......2007-08-08
I thought I would buy this knock-off item and save a few bucks. The item is really cheap looking and did not work at all. I would recommend the real Nikon Remote instead of this. Also note that there are numerous buttons on this device but only one of them is for the Nikon, the rest are for other cameras.
Great product!.......2007-07-05
I bought this to use with my Nikon D40 camera. I have never used a remote before.
It's a great little remote, fits in my hand easily and I have smallish hands.
Simple to use, just set up your camera for a remote and push the button when you are ready. I've had it for a few weeks now, still works with no battery replacement needed.

Non Working.......2007-02-25
I purchased this in January to use with my Nikon D80. I am just now getting around to use it and it does not work. This is not a Nikon product. This one is a KT-ML-L3 not a ML-L3. I plan on purchasing the ML-L3 that Amazon sells for $19.99. Don't waste your money on this one.

Customer Reviews:
Works great.......2007-01-21
It works great. Here's a tip if you are using a Linksys WRT54G wireless router: disable UPnP and you will not have a problem connecting to your network with the WUSBF54G. I'm running Windows 2000 SP4.
Linksys WUSBF54G Wireless-G USB network adapter.......2006-11-10
When I tried the device in my laptop, it has crashed my laptop every time. I have not had the time to try and contact the technical support yet. I am just very disappointed that I haven't been able to get it installed.
Great To Use.......2006-11-02
I just received my new WI-FI finder. I have version 1.1 and it DOES have a light in it and it works great. I just plugged it into a USB 2.0 port and Windows searched for the drivers and found them online and I did not even read the book or use the CD! It works great and charges thru the USB port. Highly Recommended-by the way I got it thru New Egg which was the cheapest show using Amazon as a starting point.
Direct Comparison Between Linksys and TrendNet.......2006-10-15
This is a direct comparision between the Linksys WUSBF54G and TrendNet 509UB.
Both perform as expected when used as a standalone hot spot detector.
Both perform as expected on Windows XP. Installation was quirky for both. After driver installation, inserting into USB slot it wasn't recognized at all. Fiddled around for awhile and it finally detected the device. Had to disable the notebook's builtin wireless before XP recognized the device.
Client software does not detect a device under Windows Vista Ultimate RC2. I assume this will be true for Windows Vista RTM too. Inserting the device into a Windows Vista RC2 system often completely froze Windows Vista (had to hold down power button for complete reboot). Had to disable the notebook's builtin wireless before Vista recognized the device.
Appears that the TrendNet and Linksys devices are so similar that they must be made by the same OEM or reference design. As expected, evaluation results are similar.
1. Both devices seem to have same sensitivity, similar to notebook's internal wireless card.
2. TrendNet device doesn't have Windows XP signed drivers so an extra click during install is requried. Also installing on new USB ports requires extra clicks.
3. TrendNet device supports 801.11a whereas Linksys does not.
4. TrendNet device sometimes crashes Vista Ultimate RC2.
5. Neither device's software client works under Vista Ultimate RC2. This isn't a deal breaker for me as they both work under Vista Ultimate RC2 networking as a USB wireless key. You just lose the client software feature.
6. The Linksys has a somewhat useful backlit LCD, TrendNet does not.
7. Both devices work as standalone hotspot locators equal well.
8. In hotspot mode, both devices show SSID, channel number, encryption mode, etc.
Conclusion: For XP, I recommend the TrendNet so save the extra dollars. For Vista, I recommend the Linksys device as it never crashed Vista Ultimate RC2 whereas TrendNet device was gave occasional freezes.

Useless product.......2002-01-02
I do not know if the binoculars I received were faulty, but this Russian made product has such poor performance that it doesn't serve any purpose. These binoculars cannot be properly focussed and the clarity is nonexistant.
A great pair of night vision binoculars........2000-10-14
Night Owl has created a quality pair of binoculars for a decent price. I was expecting much less from a pair of binoculars of this price, instead, i was pleasntly surprized by the night vision capabilities, as well as the field of view for these glasses. Overall a good buy.

Fine Entry Level Scope.......2003-11-26
Solid feeling unit. Battery compartment could be designed better. Buttons for power and IR are mounted in a silly spot, so using them takes two hands. Use of double AAs makes a lot of sense and they seem to last.
These units work well in most conditions. Getting proper focus takes a bit of time, but I found that I could focus closer than specs indicated, from about 4 feet to infinity. On the water on a dark night in Long Island I was able to see boats and moorings. There is some image distortion at the edges and a bit of "dirt" in the view, but overall the Night Owl will impress, especially at the price. Note the IR illuminator is not invisible to others. Red dot is visible! These things are great for sailing.
disappointed.......2003-05-22
I bought this for my husband. We waited until dark and then tried it out. He stood outside about 10 feet from me and I looked at him through the scope. I could make out a bright figure in his shape but could not see any features. Peripheral objects had slightly better clarity. I'll wait until the technology gets better for the home consumer and buy again. This one is going back.
Great Night Vision.......2003-02-26
Compact size and quality! Like the other users on this page, I was surprised by the power of this unit. Totally worth the the price , which was very reasonable ....Night vision feature, plus
built in IR feature present an excellent value. And it's powered
by 2 AA batteries.
A+
This is more than what I expected. It really works great........2002-08-02
Usually I very dissapointed when buying equipment that is inexpensive and promises everything. This unit really does allow you to see in complete darkness. You can see pretty good without the infrared on and then when you turn it on, it's like using a flashlight (you can see everything). I agree with other reviews that this item does not have a good manual. However, it is easy to use. You should know that you can't use this in daylight or it can ruin it. My friends and I were impressed with it for as little as I spent on it. ....
This is more than what I expected. It really works great........2002-08-01
You can see in complete darkness. It's very cool. My friends and I were quite impressed by it. The price is very reasonable too. I expected much worse for paying so little. The distance you can see is not bad either. It has an adapter that you can buy to see even further.

Product Description
Taking great photos is easier than ever thanks to Olympus's Accura View Zoom 90 QD. This camera has a smart viewfinder with increased magnification (up to 2x) to provide a larger and brighter area from which to frame and view your subject, and features indicators inside the viewfinder window to confirm camera operations such as focus accuracy, flash readiness, and shutter release. Both the viewfinder and the indicators are illuminated as well, so you can enjoy them in both daytime and nighttime shooting without worrying about your surrounding light. Adding to the ease of capturing high-quality photos is the camera's versatile 38 - 90mm 2.4x zoom lens, various flash modes, and dioptric correction so you can adjust the viewfinder focus to your suit your personal preference. All of these features combined make Accura View Zoom 90 QD the ideal choice for family photo fun.
Amazon.com Product Description
The Olympus Accura Viewzoom 90 QD uses a real-image viewfinder, with an in-focus indicator, so you'll always know exactly how your picture is framed. The increased magnification of up to 2x gives you a larger and brighter area to frame and view your subject. An indicator is visible inside the viewfinder allowing you to confirm camera operations such as focus accuracy, flash readiness, and shutter release. For added convenience, both the viewfinder and the indicator are illuminated, letting you see clearly whether it's night or day, while the dioptic correction feature lets you adjust the viewfinder focus to suit your individual eye requirements.
The 38-90mm, 2.4x zoom lens makes getting the shot you want even easier. You can zoom in for close-ups and back out for large group scenes. A versatile, built-in flash lets you select from several preprogrammed modes, including: auto, red-eye reduction, off, fill-in, night scene, and red-eye reducing night scene. This ensures that your picture will always be correctly exposed, no matter the lighting conditions. If the camera senses that your subject is out of focus, the autofocus mark indicator blinks off and on; if your subject is registered as a close-up, the close-up correction mark lights up.
Customer Reviews:
A very handy camera.......2003-02-02
I purchased this camera because I wanted a small camera to take with me on rainy days or when I did not want to carry around my Pentax P3 or my Nikon FG-20 and various lens. I was skeptical about how well this camera would meet my diserning eye, but I thought for the price, and that it had been refurbished, it was worth a try. My husband and I went to Harper's Ferry for our honeymoon and spent 2 days taking pictures by the two rivers and of the church. Because of the heat, I opted to leave my good cameras behind and just take this little Olympus, knowing this would be a once in a life time opportunity and that camera needed to do well! When we got the prints back, and it really makes a difference where you get your photos developed!, the quality and clarity of the photos were excellent. I really do enjoy having a small camera so I able to relax and enjoy the hike and also trust that my photos will be clear and sharp. I am pleased with the one that I have purchased.
Bad choice.......2002-05-13
I have always heard good things about the Olympus brand so I assumed when I bought this camera that I would be happy with it. Three weeks after purchasing it the zoom quit working. I called the Olympus customer service but I found then very unhelpful. I brought it back to the store and exchanged it for a new one of the exact same model. I immediatly put batteries in and tried it out but this one was broke too with the same problem! So, two cameras in a row were broke, one after three weeks, one already when I purchased it. I finally took it back to the store and exchanged it for a different brand of camera. I'm not impressed with this camera!
Sara
Great camera.......2002-05-12
I recieved this camera for Christmas, and have had the opportunity to use it in diverse situations. Consistent with my experience with Olympus products, it is easy to use and takes sharp, well exposed pictures. Olympus is known for making sharp lenses, even in lower priced cameras, and this one doesn't dissapoint. It is bigger than many other point and shoot cameras, but I prefer having something a little bigger. There have been some complaints about the date imprinting, I also don't like it, but it can be turned off. Read the instruction manual, it's not hard to do.
The only compliant I have is that the lens is quite slow. With ISO 100 film, the flash comes on in all but the brightest sunlight. ISO 400 film is recommended. However, this problem goes with the territory in point and shoots with zoom lenses, and to fix it would greatly increase the size, weight and cost of the camera.
The exposure system is accurate, the only problem I had was in Death Valley, taking a picture at Badwater, all the white salt fooled the exposure system into underexposing the picture, but it was still well within the exposure latitude of the film.
I haven't replaced the original battery in this camera, which is even more impressive in that I took the battery out of another camera which broke. Point and shoots eat batteries for breakfast, this one seems to do quite well in the battery life department. ...
In short, if you're looking for a zoom lens point and shoot, prefer something on the larger size, ... you can't go wrong with this camera. Good features, great pictures, and Olympus quality.
Best Camera 4 the $$.......2002-03-29
Easy to use - Great Pictures ! I've used autofocus and manual focus cameras for years and have found this to be the best of the lot, for ease of use and quality of pictures.
I suggest using the 400 speed film for in & outdoor shots, as the autofocus feature seems to like that best.
Decent little camrea for the price.......2002-02-23
This camera is not outstanding, but does have some nice features. I have had the most success with taking pictures using natural light. If you take most of your pictures outside, this would be a good camera.
The different flash settings are nice and the red eye reduction works well. But, I've had trouble in general with using the flash in very dim settings. The background often comes out looking totally dark.
I hate pictures that have the digital date stamped on them in the corner. This camera does that, but that option works off its own battery, not the main camera battery. I just took out the little battery and the pictures come out plain.
Another thing I like is that it will not allow you to take the picture if it is out of focus. A light flashes on the inside of the viewfinder it's not focused. Then, you know you need to back up or re-adust your aim.
