While I have appreciated the mobility of the LKA10 Headset, the delicate plastic hinges that attach the battery to the headset dialing box are very fragile if the unit slips from your clothing and falls or is bumped. A 3' tumble from my desk that doesn't harm my mobile phone has completely shattered this integral connection piece making the unit unusable until I purchased another replacement battery unit. So far I've bought three over a two year period - well before any of the batteries showed any sign of wearing down. To me this is a hidden cost due to a design flaw that reduces the LKA10 Cordless Headset's value significantly for me.

Good alternative, but spotty performance, questionable construction.......2007-01-30

First one came DOA from shoptronics. The funny thing is, not only was it not working, but it had been obviously opened, tampered with and the box had an RMA # on it and said "BAD". :) A quick call to shoptronics fixed the issue with a brand new and functional system sent to my door within a few days. So for the most part, I'm happy.

As for the item, it does what it says - transmits two channels of audio wirelessly. However, regardless of placement of either pieces, sometimes a loud "POP!!" and smaller crackles occur. Also, regardless of volume or signal tuning, there's an audible "hiss" sound - not good for rear surrounds just a few feet away from your ears. Maybe that's due to AC line noise, but I'm using 16ga THX Monster speaker cable and known-good sattelites, so I know it's not that.

In all, it's a passable trade off for people not having the luxury of running wires under the carpet (i.e. hardwood floors or in an apartment), but I think RadioShack could have made this one a bit better. All of the other alternatives used the very volitile 2.4Ghz range though and seemed to have their own caveats so who knows...

Worst product and worst support from Netgear.......2005-12-28

I purchased this product three months back and this is just a waste as I paid $129($60 MIR). Now you can get for it free after MIR. Why I am telling this is a bad product because of one bad power supply that comes with this TA keeps losing power. Only explanation given to me by ATT/Callvantage is that if I connect it to UPS or power outlet, it is too sensitive to obtain the required wattage/voltage. But, if you connect to wall socket as per ATT this would not occur. That is not true. It still loses power and after two weeks you have to physically reset and re-enter all information about PPOE etc. With Callvantage E-911, after it lost power it will prompt you to confirm whether you have changed the address or not. This keeps happening every two days and it is such an irritation.

If you contact AT&T, you will go on with them for an endless amount time on chatting, power recycling(rebooting) the TA. They have some stupid standard procedures. I spent atleast 1 hour on each time I called them.
After that, they figured out that there is some thing wrong power supply. They told me I should contact Netgear since I purchased from Local store. Here comes funny part.

If you are lucky, you will free telephone support for 90 days and after that you have pay for the support. I contacted Netgear within 90days. Their technician also spent more than hour and finally he told some senior technician would call me and it took 3 days for him to call me. I got so frustrated and I took it the shop where I purchased. They were reasonable and told me they will give store credit for the product.

Anyway, my Dlink TA working fine without any more these headaches.

Very solid product and service (but too expensive).......2007-01-20

I can only guess the other reviewer had a bad unit or some internet connectivity problem. I had very good luck with this ATA and the AT&T branded VoIP service. In general, much better then other VoIP services I had tried (Lingo w/ D-Link ATA) about that time (Late 2005).
Note: As far as I know, this WGR826V is firmware locked to the AT&T CallVantage service, so to talk about one is to reflect on the other.

After several months I dropped the CallVantage service for lower cost options. The ATA never gave me troubles though.
I still have the ATA but haven't worked on setting it up with another SIP VoIP provider yet. (I probably need a password to access the firmware to make such changes. Any guesses?)

Sometimes, these DVD recorders can be very difficult to recognize which kinds of DVD discs can be used, whether it is for the computer, or if you're like me who has a DVD Recorder / VCR combo. All in all, the flipside is the kind of quality these actually have. Still, Memorex does absolutely make it very easy to format which kinds can be used for what devices. The 3 Pack of DVD-RW discs work only with the home DVD recorders and can be played back on the computers. It really does showcase a great deal to record on. These are very good to record with and very simple to save. I just can't think of any other brand of DVD media to buy than this. Memorex hits the nail on the head.

Little annoyances really sink this ship!.......2002-06-14

I was so impressed with my Kenwood home theater (HTB-504) that I thought it would be nice to have the matching DVD player. I got it as a gift and upon hooking it up, I was initially very pleased as it is a great looking unit with great picture and sound, but then the disappointment came. First off, there is no standbye mode, which means you have to manually turn the unit on and off by pressing the power button on the actual unit, this is ridiculous. The remote is the worst I've ever seen. I thought the remote for my Panasonic DVD was bad, but the Kenwood remote is much worse, poor construction and small buttons make it feel very cheap. The player does play MP3s which is nice, but there is no random function for MP3s, only CDs. One nice feature is that there is an onscreen playlist for MP3s upon which you can create a custom playlist, a definite bonus, but the unit display on the the player doesn't give the track#, only the time lapse which makes you have to have the tv on just to see what track it is on. The fact of picture burn in coupled with no screensaver makes this onscreen feature worthless. There is a random function for music CDs but it is only within that CD and not across multiple CDs, which makes having a multiple DVD/cd player worthless as I like to listen to music in random order. Another serious problem with the player is upon watching my first DVD, "Scary Movie 2", everytime a scene that had multiple angles came on, an annoying movie camera icon would pop up. I could not figure out how to turn this "feature" off as it was not even stated in the manual. I would call Kenwood as they do have great customer service, but at this point I had already decided to return it.

Good overall, but some annoying features.......2002-02-06

I have had this player for about a month now. The picture, audio etc are good. The best feature about this player when compared to similar products is that I can see the MP3 song names on the TV screen (less than 8 characters display fine rest are abbreviated wierdly) and navigate to the folder and song I want. These are my complaints:

1. The remote is the worst I have ever seen. The buttons are tiny, lay out is horrible, no back light, NO POWER OFF button (how annoying!!!!!!!!!!!)
2. When you turn the player on it wants to read the current disc even if you press the STOP button. You can stop it only after it starts playing that disc.
3. When a disc is removed, and the tray is closed, it just decides on its own to play the next available disc which is not what I would want most of the time.

I was reading the reviews for a similar player from Panasonic and someone had the same complaint as item 2 in it too. Since this has a better MP3 menu, I might just keep this one...

Great sound and picture, but.............2001-12-24

After researching many DVD players I decided on this one. The deciding factor was the ability to play all types of CD's and MP3. I have a Kenwood VR 517 home theater system that I also bought to complete my listening experience. When I had the whole system connected there was a loud hum in the subwoofer and a soft hum in all of the surrounding speakers. After a process of elimination I discovered that when the Video Output was unplugged from the DVD player the hum stopped. I exchanged the DVD player for another DVD 505, and guess what. This one had the same annoying hum!!

I called the Kenwood company and the tech talked me through a number of connection variations, with the same results. When we explained that we had the same problem with both players he came to the conclusion that there must have been a bad batch produced. Now I have to return this player for the second time!! And I've had to drive 25 miles each way to do this! Since I don't want to take the chance of receiving another one from the same batch I've decided to go with another brand. The search begins again!!

For being a Samsonite product and for the price paid it worked for us. We purchased a 14" Laptop and needed a smaller carry case. This case seems like it was made for our laptop. It is small but does have ample zippered pockets for papers and cords if necessary. Comfortable handle. Would work well as a "carry on".

Superb Quality, but needs more room........2007-09-19

This product keeps up with its brand name, by delivering a bag with excellent quality. But, for the price, it could definitely do with more space. Once you put the laptop, it becomes difficult to fit in the power adapter too.
4 stars for quality, one star less for lack of room.

Samsonite L35 Notebook Case.......2007-09-09

It's a very stylish, comfortable and quality business looking bag. Samsonite knows how to make such things and you won't be disappointed again. This bag it's all about notebooks, few accessories and not much space for random stuff. I bought this one for a 14.1" notebook and it fits well, even has some room for a bigger device. But one can hardly use this bag for more computer or personal stuff in addition. So, if you prefer more space or use only one bag for everything, this one is not for you.

My 15.4" laptop fits very comfortably in this case. The thick shoulder strap makes the load less hectic to carry at school or work. This case is durable, practical, and my laptop's best friend.
