I bought the Vantec Iceberq 6 to replace the stock cooler on an XFX 7900 GS which was quite noisy. Although this particular video card isn't listed as being compatible with the Iceberq 6 and I'd read that it has problems fitting on certain XFX cards, I was able to follow the instructions and install it with little trouble. Not only is this a much quieter cooling solution, it also dropped my temperatures 8-10 degrees C. That enabled me to increase the overclock of the video card. The Iceberq 6 has the added advantage of blowing heat outside the case. Overall, this is a well-made product that does exactly what it's supposed to do. And unlike other video cooling solutions, it will fit on a wide array of video cards from ATI and nVidia.

Bargin price.. Great Cooler........2007-05-12

I purchased this cooler to replace my noisey Chipset fan on my DFI Lanparty Ultra D Motherboard.
The fan WILL fit on this motherboard with a very minor mod. You just need to get a small Chainsaw blade file and make one of the mounting holes a little bigger towards the fan.
It took me about 3 mins to file the needed copper away, clean and mount on the motherboard. I used Artic Silver 5.

Temps dropped by 5 degrees but the best point is that my system is much quieter again. All I can hear now is the whrrrr of my hard drives.

Dont be afraid of doing slight mod to make it fit on your motherboard, its well worth it.

Samsung SCX105L MPEG4 Sports Camcorder.......2007-08-05

This product now lies dead in my office. I don't have the heart to actually through it out, which I will eventually have to do. Yes, through it away...as in, put it in the garbage, all $700 of it.
The sound system in the camera has an intolerable intermittent crackling sound, very loud. The external camera is utterly worthless in that once it is turned on it will not turn off...ever. When it is on it sends a completely erratic and distorted picture image to the camera. The only way this product could possible be used is if I was willing to record an entirely different sound track and then match the video and sound together...what a hassle.
The camera is past it's warranty and I am stuck with it...total junk.

I bought this in July immediatly before I left the country for an extended vacation. I have been using it for paragliding and snowboarding since then. Overall I think it's a great idea, but suffers in the execution. I would not recommend buying it. Unfortunately I was away too long to be able to return it.

The good
- size
- simplicity of helmet cam
- codec plugs into Apple framework - no requirement to use imagemixer if you're a mac person

The bad
- video quality
- battery life (internal & external)
- DivX codec conflict (I had to delete all other codec's before installing imagemixer to make it work)
- can't copy files back to the camera
- provided straps don't fit any of the helmets I use
- weather proof case doesn't close properly if camera is oriented to mount on top of helmet
- photo quality

Even at the "super fine" setting, the video quality is extremely poor. Colours are muddy, frame rate is jerky, white balance and exposure levels are terrible, and the lens distorts around the edges. My canon SD400 "still" camera does MUCH better video in it's VGA mode. I would rather that it didn't do stills, mp3, file browser, etc and just did good video. I don't think that's asking too much.

It is a great camcorder for what I wanted, but the battery is not long enough. It is also very hard to find the typ of battery. The memmory is good, and you cand just erase all of the bad action scenes you filmed, but the batery won't keep up w/ the memmory. But mainly it is an excelent camcorder and has tons of extra things on it like being an mp3 player, a recorder, digital memmory storage, and a cammera. I only reccommend this for extreme sports or hiking because of the battery and memmory not being long lasting.

Didn't do the job.......2007-09-19

I have a Vizio 42" plasma that was connect to my HD DVD and H20 Directv dish via an HDMI cable. My HDMI connection broke (long story)so I had these Monster component cables lying around and I connected them. These cable don't do the job. The picture now has lots of noise and grainy and is simply not as smooth as with a Acoustic Reasearch HDMI cable.

Monster Cables are a Rip Off.......2007-09-18

I compared a Monster Cable vs one the one from Phillips which costs less than half this. And guess what, no difference. That's right. They rip you off. And what's the purpose off a gold plated connection if the rest of the signal passes through a copper cable.

It irks me see the staff at BestBuy and Circuit City pitching Monster's $75 Component Cables and $120 HDMI cables at uneducated customers. There are cheaper and equally performing cables out there. Do your research and save some of your hard earned money.

By the way, be wary of all the glowing reviews you read on amazon for this product or for others as well. Recently I have been seeing a lot of positive reviews from anonymous reviewers or reviewers with only one review to their name.

Composite Video cables make a difference.......2007-01-13

Definite difference if you are using an HDTV the DVD picture is much clearer, only wondering if HDMI is even better? Only downside is, I wish the cables were about 10ft long for more slack.

Top Quality for Analog Cables.......2006-12-15

I have good components, some of which don't have HDMI. So, I needed high quality componenet video cables. I got these, and it is hard to imagine better performance--even from HDMI. I run these cables from my DirecTV DVR to my AV Receiver. Another (longer) set runs from the Receiver to the wide-screen TV. The picture is sharp. I initially didn't get one of the connections pushed all the way onto the female end, and it didn't work. So, I pushed hard to get it on there, and it worked fine. These are tight (that's a good thing, since you don't want loose connections). Just push hard to get them on good, and they will work great.

I have a 50' Sony LCD Projection and the Sony Dav-FR8 Dream System, if I did not own a television that had a native 720p format or equivalant and a decent progressive scan DVD, why would I buy a 50$ cable to connect them.
When you get into mid to higher end components, your system becomes only as good as its weakest element, for me probaly my dvd player in my HTIB. In my case, I did notice a difference once I upgraded, I now know that I am recieving the best possiable picture from my DVD, but I am a into this sort of thing, for most it may all look the same.
In short these are not nessecary for 90% of home theaters, but if you spent $3000+ on your tv, I would say why not spring for them, otherwise you are not taking full advantage of your investment. But if you have a smaller flat screen CRT or the like, you will not be missing anything other than $30 if you choose to buy these cables.

Perfect for the active user, this radio is shock- and splash-resistant due to its rugged construction, rubberized trim and other design enhancements. This makes it the perfect partner for outdoor activities such as fishing at the lake, hiking through the woods and even working at a construction site. The KX-TR320 FRS allows users to choose from one of 14 possible channels for clear communications and offer 38 privacy codes, so you can include, or exclude, others in your conversations. Security functions include a Key Lock setting that lets you "lock in" your Channel and Privacy Code, so it cannot be changed accidentally; and a Panasonic-exclusive "Private Talk" function that lets you use the transceiver similar to a telephone handset for added privacy.The KX-TR320 is extremely easy to use: just press the "call" button to contact other users. If a call is coming in to you, your radio will emit one of five selectable ringer tones. Panasonic's KX-TR320 sports all of the features you'd expect of an FRS radio in this price range, including the ability to transmit on all 14 FRS channels and on 38 subcodes within each channel. It's also one of the coolest-looking FRS radios we've ever laid eyes on. Unfortunately, the very things that make it look so good also hurt its usability.

This radio runs on three AA batteries or its outlet power via an AC/DC converter (not included). There are also jacks on the top to connect to an external microphone and headset (also not included). All of these jacks are sealed by rubber plugs that fit snugly enough to make this one of the few splashproof FRS radios on the market. The feel of the unit exudes quality, and except for the fragile-looking flip-up antenna, this is one radio that could easily absorb several drops onto cement and come up asking for more.

On the downside, the KX-TR320 has rather small buttons that are difficult to see, let alone press. And they're packed so close together it's easy to press the wrong one. This fault can be turned into an upside, as it's also difficult to inadvertently press a button just by handling the unit, but we found using the KX-TR320 in less than optimal lighting conditions to be a chore.

However, both the sound quality and range of the unit were excellent, and if you have two or more of the radios you can take advantage of the privacy subcodes that only let you hear people using the same subcode (although everyone else on the same channel who isn't using the codes can hear you). We've seen better overall values, but the KX-TR320's rugged construction and rich features really add to its appeal. --T. Byrl Baker

I usually don't rave about a product, but this was too good to be true. I bought 4 of these radios for Christmas. Sometime in Jan. one of my sons lost his radio out in the woods by our house. Today my wife found it while she was out for a run. I pushed the power button and it worked like new. Unbelievable! I'm sure this is not the kind of "field testing" that they had in mind at Panasonic.

It really works great, even a few far from 3 miles or even when raining. I'm totally pleased with this one, as compared to other few 2-way radio that i had bought with the same pricing range ^-^

This product is definately worth the money! It has many great features including a unique private talk function. This is the best walkie-talkie I have ever used.
