Not such a good mp3 player.......2007-09-25
I have this mp3 player for over a month now I have to say that it is not as good as my previous mp3 player (Sandisk SDMX1). It freezes while playing songs and the navigation through the menues is really slow compared to my older mp3. Don't waste your money on this mp3.
Nice Little unit BUT.................2007-09-23
This unit sounds great, But after only 2 weeks the volume slider is stuck on 10 so all my music is blasting & I can not lower the volume.
That will keep me from buying another product from this company.
Other then that it is as good as any unit out there. But the cheap design of the volume button is cause for you to move on to another unit.
not bad, but could be better.......2007-09-22
Set-up and loading was easy, but WILL NOT hold 250 WMA songs. The most I could fit was 158, and there was ALOT of memory left.Also, to play Wal-Mart downloads you have to copy from computer to cd, delete from computer, rip from cd back to computer, then transfer to device. Battery life not close to 19 hours if using backlight. For $24 it's not bad, but it should at least live up to claims.
Great Product........2007-09-22
I am very happy with this MP3 Player so far. I love the fact that I can put music on it in MP3 form or WMA. I can use my old CD's and put it right on the player. It comes with a jogging band for your arm, which I use and love. It also comes with a radio tuner which works great. I live in the city and I pick up great reception. I would recommend this to anyone.
good little mp3 player.......2007-09-22
this product was for my 8 year old sister. she will not shut it off!! had it for aabout a month now and it seems to be working very well. i was not able to put music from i tunes on it, but other than that its very good. it is very tiny which is nice. was very easy to work and you dont have to use the software that comes with it. so far cant find anything wrong with it.

Great MP3 player - Bad earphones.......2007-08-05
I love this MP3 player. I bought this to use when mowing and it works perfect. The original earphones had great sound but the 2nd time I used them, the cord fell out of one earpiece. I found a really good pair to replace them and now I wouldn't take anything for this player. It was a refurbished player but works like a new one. I highly recommend this item but be prepared, you may want to purchase a more durable set of earphones along with it. Still a great bargain for the price.

Great Value with 1 drawback.......2007-04-08
This device is great for the price. I download licensed WMA (Plays for Sure) books from Netlib. My plan was to use the FM radio for morning runs, then switch to the currently loaded book for my afternoon walk. The problem I have is that thw unit reverts back to the beginning of the book when switching from radio to song (book) mode. I haven't found a way to defeat this or a link to contact Sandisk by e-mail to question this.
it works good.......2007-03-31
Its not the easiest thing to use. But it does work. Its difficult to read the little screen. In the car its nearly impossible to read. I need my reading glasses to read it. BUT I can add songs and delete songs easily using the PC and it plays well. I mainly use it in the car with a cassette
adapter, and thats working out fine. A battery lasts a reasonable amount of time. You have to make sure you get it turned off, if youre turning it off and hold the button too long it turns back on and you waste some battery power. I used the menu options to have it shut itself off after an hour so thats the maximum juice I will waste. You can get into the menus and adjust many settings such as how long the light stays on, on the little screen, I upped it to 20 seconds. I wish the light would come on briefly when shutting it down, that would make it easy to see if its really off. I just go thru my playlist from beginning to end. Trying to use the joy(less) button thingie while driving to get to another album is asking for trouble, its just not the thing to do, not for me anyways and I am pretty handy with devices like this. Ive had it several months and it still works fine.

I wish it would detect things. If there is only a digital input going in, it should select that itself. If you put in headphones it could turn off the speakers.
Ocassionaly it was shutting off with an overloaded message. I would have thought that this would mean it was getting too much audio input. In reality it got better when I plugged the electricity directly into the wall.

I bought this receiver the first time for use in my basement rec room. I was so pleased with the sound quality that I bought another one to replace my more expensive receiver in the living room that did not sound as good as the Panasonic. Really sharp differentation on the surround sound. Crisp tones on classical music. Important to carefully read the instructions for the remote. Among other things you need to be in the tuner mode in order to turn the amplifier on and off with the remote. So far have had no problems with either receiver.
Good receiver, cheap remote.......2004-12-19
All in all a solid receiver. As the title says, the remote is not up to what I would consider for something at this price range.
Something to keep in mind, the video output has to be the same as the video input - meaning if you use s-video to your tv/monitor, as do you have to use the same inputs from your components. This wasn't apparent from the description.
Don't lose the remote, as this is the only way to set up the surround.
Long-Term Durability?.......2004-08-19
I bought mine from Circuit City almost a year and a half ago for $399, replacing a Kenwood 9G that I bought 25 years ago, which worked flawlessly, but lacked the convenience of a remote.
It seemed like a great deal, even at that price, working flawlessly until two months after the one-year warranty expired, when it began to show F70 on the display panel. The repair shop found a short and a blown fuse, costing $1.50 for the part and $55 for the labor (plus the 70 mile round trip to the nearest repair shop, twice).
Three weeks later, F70 showed up on the display again and another trip to the repair shop only to find another blown fuse, which was replaced free of charge. So far it has lasted 2 weeks without a hitch.
I figure if it keeps working this time it's still not a bad deal, but if it quits again I'm getting out the old Kenwood and this sucker is going on Ebay.
stay clear of this product.......2004-06-21
I bought this product brand new from amazon.com still in the orignal wrapping and box. Two weeks after receving this amp I had it in the shop where it is untill this very day. What really turned me against this product is when I got to the repire shop there was a receiver just like mine in there for the same problem, the surround channles blowing. Stay clear!!!

Not only do I use this model at home, but I insist my clients buy these in bulk and that every desk have one. These units have a combination of features that make them simply the best for PC's and networking equipment.
-They are easily wall mountable.
-They have 3 large AC block sockets. 2 of which are used for "always on" equipment.
-The off/on button is recessed. This is my favorite feature as it cannot be found on many other protectors. This prevents accidental turn off.
-The cord is plenty long.
-The plug is right angled.
