I love this card... It works great and the extra memory is awesome. I installed it onto an ipaq 2215 and I had small trouble installing it, but thats all the trouble that I had.

This card installed without any problems on a PocketPC 2002 from the DOWNLOADED drivers from SanDisk website as many people recommended without even trying the supplied drivers. The memory part works fine and the wireless setup is easy and straight forward even for any begginer but BEWARE of power comsumption !!!... it eats batteries that used to last many hours and now I only have roughly 20 minutes of continuos use with the card installed. So you may have to use a spare battery, carry a charger or if on the road with your PDA and NOT using the wireless card, take it away or your batteries will die fast. But besides this power matter, my card gets the job done easily and connects without any problems to many different Access points and wireless configurations or "profiles".

Does not work with Jornada 928.......2005-12-22

I have tried using this card with my Jornada 928 (Pocket PC 2002) but the Wifi has never worked. I can access the memory portion without any problem. Tried installing the driver from the mini CD, sandisk website and even tried using the Socket drivers but nothing worked. Sandisk support team is useless and they do not have a clue. Asking me to return the card or upgrade my PDA. What a waste of money. Dont want to give this even a single star but cant submit my review without this.

Well, if you have a Dell Axim x5, you better read this!
The SanDisk SDWCFB-128-768 Wireless 802.11b & 128 MB CF Card will be your head hake, but, if you forget the 128MB, you will "almost" enjoy it...
I bought this card just for the Wi-Fi, and.... I SOLD MY DELL AXIM X5 (!), but BEFORE THAT, I made them "working" together!
And, furthermore, the new owner is my friend, and very happy with his new PDA-Internet connection!
I tried all I could, and also bought an Ambicom CF WiFi card.
But I kept trying the SanDisk.
GOOD RESULTS: You can use either the newest software (from SanDisk, not from Dell), but REMEMBER to REMOVE the SanDisk CF WiFi card BEFORE you switch your Dell Axim X5 off! (If you forget this, soft reset it, and then install the CF Card).
After you suffer a bit, you love it. Signal strong and stable, but I didn't like to unplug so often the card itself!

ANOTHER solution is to install the software (drivers) of the most expensive CF WiFi card available online... You should know which one I mean: SOCKET...But You still have to unplug it before switching the PDA off.

PS.: if you buy the Ambicom CF WiFi YOU WON'T HAVE ANY HEADACKE!
Just plug it and enjoy it!

Good Stuff but not the best.......2005-08-04

I have HP iPaq H2215 and use this wi-fi with my PDA. It works good and I was having a little bit hard time to install the software. I didn't use the software that came with it, I use the software from the SanDisk website (http://www.sandisk.com/retail/drivers-sdwcfb-128.asp).

The software for Pocket PC 2002 / Win CE is different with Pocket PC 2003. For Pocket PC 2003, it doesn't really support WEP Encryption or probably I don't know how to set it up.
I setup my router at home using WEP 128 bit encryption and I put a passphrase to encrypt it but when I tried to connect the internet using my PDA, it didn't work. I tried several times, changed the setup but still didn't work and then I decided to disable WEP settings and it worked and it still working right now.

Overall, this product is good and it has extra memory for my PDA.

I didn't think that "mere" cables could have such a profound effect on my sound - amps, yes; the guitar, of course. But cables? Well, the difference is astonishing. The background hum from the amp is greatly reduced, the volume is louder and the tone is fuller and richer. They are expensive,but worth every penny.

Great SACD, DVD player.......2003-03-28

I love the price - great deal for an SACD-compatible DVD player. I use a Kenwood receiver and speakers (HTB-504 home theatre in-a-box) but have replaced the sub with a Velodyne CHT-12. I connected the 6-channel analog audio with 3 pairs of Stealth FLR silver interconnects, the digital audio with a Stealth Fineline MK II S/PDIF digital coaxial cable, and the video with Audioquest/Cinemaquest YIQ-3 component video cables. The SACD sound is outstanding, and I actually prefer it for use as a DVD player over my Toshiba SD-3755 5-disc DVD changer, even though Toshiba DVD players are generally considered better than Philips. It automatically adjusts to correctly display widescreen movies, whereas with my Toshiba I have to use the 16:9 enhanced mode on my Sony TV. I couldn't be happier with the purchase, and, in retrospect, would gladly have paid more for it. The buyer should be aware, however, that it can get quite expensive buying the high-quality interconnect cables necessary for SACD playback.

Very good performance for price.......2003-03-03

At $... w/free shipping, this player is about the least expensive DVD/SACD player I have come across. I am very happy w/the DVD playback and the sound of SACD.

I have one cause for concern regarding SACD playback, though: When I put in hybrid CD/SACD, the player often refuses to recognize the SACD layer and only plays the CD layer. It usually takes a few times of putting the SACD in before it will recognize and play the SACD layer. It is very frustrating when I put an SACD in and can only get CD.

Overall though, the features work great. The remote and menu system are a bit complex at first, but they soon become fairly easy to navigate.

This is a good DVD player at a very reasonable price. But it has an additional feature which makes it very special: in addition to DVDs and regular CDs, it plays the new SACDs -- which are the finest sounding recordings currently available.

When conventional CDs became available they displaced LPs in the marketplace because of their small size and the fact that their sound did not degrade with the ticks and pops that even the best-maintained LPs eventually acquire. But, despite these advantages -- as well as significant improvements in CD sound over time with technological advances such as oversampling -- many connoisseurs maintained that CDs never achieved the warmth and high-frequency sweetness characteristic of top-grade audiophile LPs. Now that has changed. Super Audio CDs are superior in sound to the finest audiophile-quality LPs I've ever heard. Furthermore, even conventional CDs played on a SACD player sound better than they do on typical CD players. In fact, the best conventional CDs in my collection equal audiophile-quality LPs in sound when played on a SACD player and the new SACDs sound even better. If you're going to buy a DVD player, why not get one like which also plays both CDs and the new terrific-sounding SACDs?

Poor quality, poor service.......2006-09-30

I bought a sharp lcd tv from j& r in new york last Jan, after a year and half, when powering on the tv, sometimes works, sometimes not. after unplug in, wait for a while and plug back, worked for a couple months. Send it to service center to checkup, was told that the lcd control board needs to be replaced. when request to get back the replaced lcd control board, was told that sharp does not give back the replaced board, it has to be shipped back, otherwise, you have to pay additional fee to get back the replaced board.. it's rather strange to hear such a lousy policy from any vendor..

But, if you do want to get a sharp, better get a long long warranty..

This T.V automatically shuts down after 5 "errors"..I got it from J&R Music and Computer (N.Y).. According to the service tech,this $3,600.00 T.V arrived broken. It has been in the repair shop longer than in my own home..........

excellent Flat-Panel LCD.......2005-01-27

I purchased my system a few months ago and I am very pleased with it. I love how there is a separate unit to house all the cables. I think it is a lot smarter to buy this model as opposed to the one with the HDTV tuner built in. This model is a lot cheaper and Comcast supplied me with a digital cable box with an HDTV tuner built in. I refuse to watch sports unless it is via HDTV. The clarity of this TV is very clean and crisp. I highly recommend it.

Pretty good TV........2005-01-12

I ordered this TV from amazon, and got delivered promptly as per the delivery estimate provided. Entire process is very pleasent and smooth.
Setup is easy, but my DVD player was not able to send digital signals, so I bought LG Electronics HD Receiver/Hi-Format DVD Player (LST3510A), which delivered 720p signal from my DVD, resulted in really sharp picture. I just connected with component video output.

Overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

Very Happy with the Sharp Aquos 32G4U.......2005-01-02

We've had the Aquos TV for a few weeks at this date and are very happy with the picture quality for standard DirecTV, DVD, and PC viewing. We have not upgraded to an HD feed yet, but we were honestly surprised by the improved picture of standard DirecTV versus our previous television (standard CRT).

Pluses:

1) We have found the A/V box design to be great for hiding all the input cables.
2) Sharp offers a couple of different stretch modes to choose from.
3) There are 6 input sources and ability to assign custom names to each.
4) The unit remembers the volume, stretch, and picture settings for each input source. Sounds like a small thing but it is really appreciated by us.
5) The Sharp menus and remote are nicely designed.
6) Speakers sound good for listening to regular content.
7) TV outputs for video capture.
8) Aesthetically pleasing.
9) Vivid pictures!
10) The stand allows the screen to swivel and pivot for optimum positioning. The degrees of rotational are small but effective.
11) Works very well for PC viewing.
12) Placement of the control buttons on top of the panel work nice for us.

Minuses:

1) Only one S-Video input and it is on the front of the A/V box. Won't be an issue after we upgrade our DirecTV receiver but it seems like an oversight not to include one s-Video input on the back of the A/V box.
2) 1080p support is questionable. This may be an issue in the future as true 1080 becomes widely available. Perhaps the A/V box can be upgraded.
3) Expensive. We originally wanted a 37" TV but could not justify the price. However, we were so pleased with all the features mentioned above that we went with the smaller 32" versus other less expensive products.
4) We are not using all input sources, it would be nice if we could disable the unused inputs so they would not appear in the menu.
5) Faint fan noise in the A/V box (this is probably a nit, it's only detectable if TV is muted).

Thanks to all the previous reviewers on this product and other products. The customer feedback really helped us make and informed decision. It can get confusing with all the different display technologies available. Also, some products have known defects that you will only learn about from internet research.

After installing drive and software with ease, I sucessfully burned 2 audio cds and 3 data cds. Now for some reason it only works for data (pictures). Every time I try to burn a list of songs it errors out after a couple of songs resulting in many thrown out cds. I am definitely returning this one.

Just bought this inspite of the review. Worked great !! XP plug-n-play was just perfect. Nero installed with absolutely no probs.

Already burnt 2 audio CDs, no glitches, no throw-away CDs, CDs sound great. Drive was a little noisy initially, but then I guess I got used to it along with other fan noises around.

I definetely recommend this product. Worth a try b4 you write it off. Rated it 4 b'cos of the noise.
I'll surely update my views based on further usage.

Don't Bother........2002-03-29

I purchased this product as a 2nd cd recorder. My first is a Sony, a great product, but I thought I would compare them. DON'T BOTHER with this one! It gets one star b/c there isn't an option for negative numbers here...

The product is supposed to *work* with the Nero software they package it with, which is GARBAGE. It is difficult to use and the support number is in GERMANY! Levitation Is No Longer The Sole Domain Of Yogis Or Magicians! These electromagnetic suspended globes are actually high-tech instruments. A magnetic field sensor continually measures the height at which the globes are suspended. This sensor feeds that data into a micro computer in the base of the unit. This computer then calibrates the electronic magnets at the top of the frame based on the distance between the globes and the top magnet to keep the globes correctly positioned. All in the blink of an eye! So not only do these look great on your desktop levitating in thin air, they are also technology marvels! When you initially get your globe and plug it in, it may take you a few minutes to correctly position the globe in between the base and top magnets. You'll figure it out quickly enough and before you know it, you'll be able to set it up in just a few seconds every time. Once it's levitating, you can even spin it slightly and watch the globes rotate for extend periods of time. Just like the real thing, except you get to control gravity ;) Your choice of either a 4" or 8" diameter globe. The 4" model (8 inches tall including frame) features an attractive brushed metal silver frame. The 8" globe (14.5 inches tall including frame) comes with a chrome finished frame with a black and multi-colored globe. The level of detail on the 8" globe is greater than that of the 4". Each comes with a power supply (US, 120V only).
