I got this headphones, the cord that runs from one to another and to the laptop is very short and does not reach the laptop. So there is an extention cord enclosed. The problem is that the extention cord has a very loose connection with the main cord. You have to be immobile all the time, to the point of holding your breath not to disconnect the cords. Good luck with the item. I could not return it, b/c the sellers stocking fee was high, and he included part of the price in shipping.

I am rebuying a pair of these headphones.(Mine accidentally broke.) I have tried 3 times, within the same price bracket, to replace my current pair and these are SO FAR superior than the newer models available. As mentioned by another reviewer, the cord isn't just a piece of plastic, so it's longevity was relatively amazing. The clip-on ear pieces worked well for me, (but that's coming from someone that those ipod earphones fall right out. ) I guess it just depends on the shape, not size, of your ears. I am buying another pair because I know I can rely on them.

I love these headphones. I particularly like the cord, not plastic. Never had problem with them falling off head or hurting my ears. I even have spare pair incase mine ever break or get lost.

This is easily the best bass I have ever heard on non DJ / Producer headphones. This bass really hits. If you like the sound closer to your ears, then throw on a headband for the best portable ear clip or ear bud sound there is.

A nice, smooth (and exaggerated as promised) low end, paired with an unfortunately shrill high end. If it weren't for that high end - which I swear pushes most singers' voices up an octave - these would be great headphones. If you listen to music that has no recognizable voices, they may be perfect for you. For me, they're just cheap 'phones with better bass. Regarding the design, I like them.

- some audio leakage, not recommended for use in a library, but pretty much anywhere else (gym, subway, in a room where other people are chatting) it's not going to be noticeable to anyone nearby
- cord may get somewhat tangled if you just throw it into a bag

I found these looking for clip-on headphones for my iPod. They looked nice, and from reviews, they seemed to have good sound quality. They are somewhat nice in design, yet could have been designed more user-friendly. The cord is extremely short, even for my small self, so you have to use the akward extension cord.For some strange reason, the left headphone has two cords coming out of it which makes for tangled wires.
It is a little hard to put on, but i have gotten used to it. The sound quality is great, and although I am no audio geek, the heavy base is nice for rap and rock.

i got this as an addition to my creative nomad jukebox zen NX xtra 30 GB Mp3 player.i got to say this...build quality rocks an they look cool...but these headphones hurt my ear so bad even though my ears not big nor are they small...unless i keep the headphones close to my ear the sound quality seems to suffer.i would rather recommend a over the ear headphones.

Great sound quality, horrible fit for all those bespectacled.......2005-05-01
These earphones were given to me by a visitor from Japan before they were officially released in the U.S. I checked the specs of the Japanese model with the U.S. release, and they were identical. These were presented to me in Summer 2004 and I just loved their classic, understated style, and just loved the way they sounded. Rich, full bass notes, and clear, crisp high notes came through perfectly. However, being an eyeglasses wearer, the clip-on design was extremely uncomfortable and conflicted with my eyeglasses for the real estate above my ears. Also, the cord with extension, while quite long and perfect for those who stash their CD players in cavernous backpacks, can be quite unwieldy, especially when sitting and standing. The cord's slack got caught on doorhandles, my beltbuckle, on the leading edge of my desk, and other sundry places. With each snag, the headphones were rudely jerked around my ears, compounding the pain felt wearing them just with glasses! As a final note, just recently the extension cord female end rubber covering's glue came loose, which made the covering flop around, and causes static and sound loss in my right ear. What a pain!
If you don't wear glasses and like rich sound quality, these are the 'phones for you. If you wear glasses, trip over cords on a thrice-daily basis, and detest anything hanging off your ears, get some good Sony Fontopia Earbuds.

I cannot recommend these little babies enough. The audio quality is amazing. I must say that I haven't personally encountered any particular difficulty with the clips, nor any true discomfort. Sure, you have to play around with them a bit to get them to fit properly, but I've had to do that with any pair of headphones I've ever owned, so I don't view that as a flaw. My only piece of advice would be to make sure what type of MDR-Q55SL you're buying: techno=silver, rap=blue, rock/jazz/orchestral=gold.

Big Ears Need Not Apply.......2005-01-08
I had been looking to upgrade the average headphones that come with most MP3 players and Walkman so I saw the "Deep-Bass Turbo" marketing claim for these headphones and purchased a pair. They clip over the ears and simply fit poorly on my ears. OK, my ears are a little on the large side. The sound is OK but I have to push them to my head with my hands to get a good acoustical fit. My wife thinks they are OK but she has "mouse ears". However, don't tell her I said that. The wiring is sheathed in some sort of woven material which should hold up well. I have since purchased a pair of Koss SportaPros through Amazon and would highly recommend them over these phones. The SportaPros really produce the low bass and smooth high end I was looking for.

It's really a snap installing the kit. You only need to know your ISP information which is basically username and password along with type of connection and just follow a short set of instructions.
Once product is installed it has great coverage; even for the price. I can be the farthest away in the house, from the router, and it still works great! I recommend this kit as a solution for those of you who have an older model laptop without the built in wireless card. I shopped around for the same model around and nothing comes close to the price i got.

Have to reset it alot which means unplugging it for a few minutes and plug it back in. No reset button. Other than that it is ok. Going to buy a new one and keep this as a backup. Not sure if I would have bought it having known this.

The router was extremely easy to setup. Linksys even has this new tool that will automatically setup the router and any other devices for you. I have not had any problems with dropped connections. I'm 100% satisfied. I recommend the router and card to anyone, as both work great and are extremely easy to setup.
