Get what you pay for.......2007-02-10
This phone had poor sound quality. If all you want is a means to communicate as though holding a can with a string attached, this is great. Otherwise, don't waste your money. I have since purchased a phone system for over a hundred and it was worth every penny (threw away the uniden after a month of frustration!)
Great for the money........2007-01-05
These are great no frills phones. They don't have alot of features such as an answering machine but they do the trick if you are not looking to spend alot of money.
Great phone!.......2006-03-28
I was really shocked when I read the bad reviews of this phone. I have had my set for several months and have NEVER experienced any of the problems mentioned in other reviews. I do have to say that the way I have my phones arranged, the main one in the basement and the extra phone (the one that does not need to be plugged into a phone jack) in my bedroom, they happen to be right on top of each other, albeit on separate flooors- so maybe that has something to do with why my recpetion is so great. But again, I have never had any problems and think this is a great phone. I love the simple, sleek design and do not think it feels or looks cheap.
cas.......2006-02-19
Great features; Like the both base unit operating with just one line connection. Love it.
Worst phone I have ever used.......2006-02-12
I have never had trouble with any other phone like I do with this one. Most of the time when the phone rings, the caller ID doesn't even work. It says "Incoming Call" or "Incomplete Data" when at the same time my Panasonic phone is showing me the correct name and number.
There is always interference and you cannot go more than 10 feet away from the base without there being so much static/interference that you can't even hear the person.
Yesterday when I was on it, myself and the caller could both hear beeping noises and static.
The phone just feels cheap. Rather than trying to save a few bucks, go with something better it will be worth it.

Product Description
The CRW-F1 recorder has an "Advanced Audio Master Quality Recording" mode for writing audio CDs and Data CDs, with less digital noise or jitter. This unique feature enables recording music CDs at quality levels master discs are professionally prepared. The CRW-F1 is the first CD-RW recorder to offer the revolutionary DiscT@2 Laser Labeling System, which allows graphics and text to be burnt onto CD-R disc, eliminating the need for labels. Customers can put graphics, such as signatures, logos, memorandums, and photo images onto CD-R's unused area after data writing. This unique feature will certainly enhance the CD-R recording experience for many users. To develop the CRW-F1 recorder, Yamaha adopted the Full CAV method for CD-R writing as well as CD-RW rewriting to ensure high-quality recording even at high speeds. In the Full CAV (Constant Angular Velocity) writing/rewriting mode, CRW-F1 maintains a constant disc rotation speed from start to end. By removing any fluctuation in the disc rotation speed, unwanted vibrations, which may affect the writing quality, are eliminated, thanks to Yamaha's newly developed traverse mechanism with dynamic damper.Designed to enhance the look and feel of today's trend-conscious, attractive desktop and notebook systems, the stylish external CRW-F1UX has USB 2.0/1.1 interface and comes with Windows applications bundled.

Customer Reviews:
Uniden TRU-4465 Phone is OK!.......2006-03-21
I bought this phone a couple years ago. Replaced one battery on one handset only because my daughter insisted on using it across the street at the laundry matt. She was warned not to because it would kill the battery too fast. It has good range too. I am able to travel approximately a 4 minute walk to the store and still receive a connection and make/receive calls. I reccomend it.
Breaks easily and the WORST customer service.......2004-06-17
Had to send the base unit back TWICE due to it not charging the handset. Was able to send it back after many, many phone calls and explanations to the rep. Have had this phone for less than one year and already hate it for it's unreliability and lack of functions.
WORST customer service I've ever encountered. Well, except for Dell, but that's another review.
I recommend the Panasonic MultiTalk. It costs a little more but worth it.
using it as a speakerphone didn't work.......2004-03-12
The handsets for this worked great but the mic for the speakerphone was under the machine so to get it to pick up my voice at all I had to lift it up and talk into it. Since this kind of defeats the purpose of a speakerphone, I had to return it. I'm bummed - it worked great otherwise.
Still The Best After A Year.......2004-02-25
I have been using this product for about a year now (since April 2003) and it is literally the happiest I have ever been with a retail cordless phone system. I telecommute and I am on the phone constantly with work and clients, to say nothing of family and friends. Despite 5+ hours a day of talk time, these phones never seem to lose their charge or their clarity. The only problem I have with clarity is if someone is running the microwave oven, otherwise the connection is always crisp. The separate stored numbers allow me to have one phone with all my personal information on it, and my roommate to have a separate one. Other reviewers have cited this as a flaw, but anyone living with a teenager or roommate will see it as a blessing. Others have stated that it's a flaw that both phones cannot be on at the same time. As a telecommuter I am grateful for this feature; when I am on a business call there are no unprofessional interruptions made by someone in another part of the house accidentally picking up the phone to make a call while I am speaking on the other handset. The additional handset plugs into a regular outlet - so it provides a great way to have a phone in a room where there isn't a phone jack. The only reason I might have given this a 4 ½ star had it been an option would have been the following reasons:
1. I have a minor hearing problem and I'm sensitive to volume levels. The loudest setting of this phone is what is closer to the medium setting of most other phones. I would like to see a future model offer one or two more amplified levels of volume. The clarity of this phone, however, lets it get away with this much more than the average phone could.
2. I have not, as of yet, found a headset that works well with this phone. This makes it mildly inconvenient for telecommuters like myself. Playtronics headsets work okay, but it's not a stellar match-up. The saving grace is that the speakerphone is very clear, but many clients don't like being on speaker phones.
Overall I am very happy with this little system and have not encountered any concerns in performance or usability over the course of a year. Some of the buttons are small, but in a month or so of using the phone, your hands will instinctively find the right spots, and it's worth it to have an overall compact phone that maintains clarity.
good.......2004-02-19
This is a great phone, especially if used across 2 floors. The base unit in the basement can easily be used with the handset unit placed in the upstairs. Calls are clear, but sometimes there is a "tunneling" effect, which is hardly noticible. the costomizable features of this phone are great, along with the phone book, caller id featers etc. buy it if you're looking for a phone that can be placed elsewhere in the house where a phone jack is unavailable!

Customer Reviews:
Solid Home WAP.......2006-07-04
I've used the FWAG114 for about 2 years now, and it has performed solidly for me with XP and 95 clients, unlike the linksys WAP that it replaced. As with any wireless access point, some tuning is required to help ensure a clear signal in our increasingly congested wireless world. The FWAG114 provides an easy to use web interface for configuration, and the default settings will work well for many applications. I have a fairly large space to cover, and use 2 114's configured to allow roaming within the space.
The 114 includes VPN tunnel support, which may be unnecessary for many home users.
Simply does not work.......2004-10-29
I have owned Netgear FWAG114 for over one year and have had repeated problems with random drop outs of service. Like a previous reviewer, I have had to reset the AP at least once a day for it to resume to work. At first, I thought it was my cable service; however, when I switched to a different router, I have absolutely no problems. I have updated the AP with the most recent Firmwire and have purchased several to test them. Unfortunately, they are all lemons and the problem lies within the AP itself.
DO NOT BUY IT!!!.......2004-08-23
I've owned this unit for a week and I've had to reboot it over a dozen times. My experience with Netgear's FWAG114 is apparently the rule rather than the exception; message boards show many people face this problem. Things like VPN are worthless if you have to do a local reboot twice a day; Netgear is irresponsible for selling this product. This is a very expensive product that I would think Netgear would want to work. Why they would stake their reputation in part on a product they know doesn't work is simply baffling. In short, the fancy specs obfuscate the fact that it just doesn't work. The Netgear FWAG114 is ultimately a glowing example of "too good to be true."
Great Product.......2003-11-13
I highly recommend this product, which can be used with their other NetGear connectivity products (PCI cards, etc) as well as Centrino-based laptops seamlessly.
Everything works right out of the box, first time!
It's a good WAP/router combo.......2003-09-29
Works very well.
Although it's a little slow for intranet transfers.
I use it with long (152 and 128 bit) WEP keys and maybe
that explains why local transfers are a bit slow.
SSID broadcasting can be turned off for both the A and G
APs which is a very desirable.
The radio signal is strong unlike other APs I've used before.
Highly recommended.

Plantronics headest review.......2007-08-31
This headest is a great, inexpensive alternative to the normal Plantronics headsets ($300) that go with our Avaya IP phones. They're actually better than! I highly recommend these headsets.
With a little help, the T10 works well.......2006-06-22
Amazon shipped the T10 Single Line Headset Phone ($66.99) via UPS Ground from Lexington, Kentucky to N.Virginia, with free delivery. It arrived yesterday, less than two days after ordered.
Several earlier reviews are negative enough to discourage someone from buying the unit. So I'll post right away, to clarify the complaints as I see them. These reviews are for three different headset models, the S10, T10 and T20. That's unfortunate. Potential problems in one model may never occur in another model.
The Headset Cord is over 6 ft. long, a plus. It plugs into the Headset Jack on the base of the T10. (The Oct 17, 2002 review complaining that it is only 3 ft. long is outdated and misleading, and should be removed.)
The unit does not make a humming noise while in use, as some reported experiencing. This was a major concern prior to purchase. I now suspect that the humming--and its possible fix--only occurs with other models, those using a power transformer. (I have a DSL Internet connection for my computer, so I needed to plug the Line Cord into a DSL adapter, which plugs into the wall phone jack.)
The complaints about the Mute and On/Off buttons on the base being too close together? Yes, they are close. But they are also big, and they are labeled. The Mute button is 1¼ in. wide, and On/Off is 1¾ in. wide. Unless you are Bigfoot, they may be selected with ease.
About the base jiggling around, when pressing numbers in the top row. That happened when I placed the phone was way back on the table, and had to reach. I was dialing from a much lower angle than usual. Normally, the phone is nearby. I tap the numbers from a higher angle, and the unit remains stable.
I prefer using the headset, rather than an earhook. The headset feels quite light and comfortable, and the headband is very expandable. Although my head is rather large, I did not need to bend the metal headband wider, as suggested.
I made a few calls. Adjusting Volume for incoming speech made it loud enough, and a little fine tuning with Tone was helpful. But my own voice was too loud. So I moved the Voice Boom tip two inches further away from my mouth (and may have spoken a little more softly without realizing it). Perfecto! The person I called still heard me loudly enough. Incoming and outgoing loudness were balanced for my ear.
I plan to use the T10 for any calls expected to last over 10 minutes. Especially, for tech phone help calls. My worst call to India took 4 hours! My plan:
1) Make the call on the nearby cordless speakerphone.
2) Hands free, talk into the speaker to make menu choices. Listen to the speaker while resuming work, and wait, wait, wait, for up to 30 minutes!
3) When a live person answers, ask them to wait a moment, press the speakerphone hold button, put the T10 headset on my head, and turn on the T10.
Good quality for the price.......2006-03-13
This headset is a replacement for the one I had on a 2 line phone by Plantronics. It is versatile, for in can be used over the head or just placed in the ear with the attachments provided. It is light and confortable because of the cushion. But the best feature is the reduction or blocking of noise which allows you to hear and be heard clearly, making it very affordable for the price.
