This switch does not properly scan ports, your lucky if you get half the pc's working the other half need to be rebooted to be detected each time you switch to them... same with PS2 version - Junk

Although I have read the reviews written here a priori, I bought the item as I was in desperate need of a 4-port USB KVM in my house, and Omniview looked cute and compact for that purpose. But then I started experiencing most of the problems stated in the reviews. Duh!

- I feel extremely anxious when switching from one computer to another, since most of the time the mouse simply does not function in target computer! This is extremely discomforting and I have to reboot that machine to get it working (I tried switching back and forth at no avail).

- Time to time, while using the keyboard, the last key sticks as if you keep pushing it. One time I was cleaning up my inbox, deleting the unwanted emails. And then all of a sudden the 'DEL' key got stuck and it flushed the whole inbox! Gee, I had to scour through my Deleted Items folder to recover them back...

- No cables included! I had to buy all the cables myself. What a waste of money...

I am giving the two stars for the pleasing looks and design. Functionality-wise it is worse than unsatisfactory. I don't recommend you buying this product now that there are better alternatives I believe. I had a very satisfying experience with Iogear 2 Port Compact USB KVM Switch (GCS632U) earlier.

It works ... barely!!.......2005-03-20

This produce is in desperate need of firmware updates.

First off, when you go to update you have to first run an early update that allows your computer to run the updates. Which isnt documented well.

Second, and BIGGEST!! I am running a microsoft wireless keyboard / mouse combo. Which only has 1 USB! Which you have to plug into the mouse port to make it work. If you plug it into the keyboard port then your mouse wont work. Now the problem is, if oyur keyboard ISNT in the keyboard port then you cant do the hot switching.

So ... basically for what i want it is annoying. I can have my wireless keyboard mouse ... but now i have to go to the kvm (which doesnt sit close to me) to switch computers.

Grrr .... i think what annoys me the most is you'd THINK this would be an easy firmware upgarade

Super Rip-Off!.......2004-12-03

I'm evaluating the DVI version. The cables are sold seperately, so what's the point to buy a KVM without cables?!? This is just way to costly compared to other KVMs out there. I'm in agreement with another reviewer, let's wait until there's more mature DVI versions out there.

Lastly, hearing the problems doesn't surprise me, as working with the two port version, I had some problems where computers becames unresponsive.

I'm extremely unhappy with the Belkin OmniView SOHO Series 4-Port KVM DVI Switch with Audio. I'm sure most of this applies for the VGA version

1) It is nearly impossible to connect a cable to the console DVI Connector. Belkin had to overnight a special extender to connect the monitor DVI cable to the KVM.
2) Connecting the Power Adapter to the KVM blocks one of the peripheral USB ports.
3) It's absolutely impossible to put on the cover (i.e. cable management cover) if you connect the four (Belkin) cables to it.
4) Connecting only two PCs with a resolution of 1600x1200 to the KVM resulted in green shadows for one connection. (both NVidia cards GeForce 4 (4200 series) and a Geforce 5 (5200 series)
5) The Microsoft Wireless Keyboard doesn't work as stated in the manual. I did manage to plug in the wireless dongle connector to the USB mouse port on the KVM but now I can't use the hotkeys to switch between computers. Belkin has also indicated that wireless keyboards don't always work as stated in the manual

Kogi - don't waste your time.......2004-03-31

My wife bought me this as a birthday present. I opened it up and switched it on to find the screen was not working - it was half white-out. I returned the item and got a replacement which had a different problem. I contacted Kogi technical support, who we actually there to talk to but the problem persisted. I am now shipping back for a full refund. I advise people not to waste there time on this product.

Good monitor, TV alright.......2003-09-07

Overall I'm pretty happy with my monitor. I use with an IBM ThinkPad X31 in a small dorm room, and it gives me a much better picture quality than the IBM's built-in monitor. Screen clarity / quality is fine, compared to the EIZO monitor I used at work. TV quality is not superb, but that's probably due to the fact that I don't have cable in my room.

How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.

The Memorex 256MB CompactFlash Memory Card, like most 256MB cards, will store on average 284 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 213 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 128 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 102 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 80 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.

I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.

Marvelous!.......2007-08-28

I got this product as a gift for Christmas '06. I listen to it everyday (literally) and it still works beautifully! The sound quality is superb, and the preset equalizer settings work very nicely with my diverse music taste. I love the fact that it came with a remote control. It's very handy at night when I am done listening to the radio. Instead of getting out of my bed after I've almost fallen asleep, I just reach up behind my bed and turn the stereo off with the remote. Also another handy feature is the on/off timer. I can set it to wake me up, and set to turn off a few hours later so that I won't leave it on all day, but I can still listen to music until I am out of the house. The automatic door fascinates my friends, and it is very quiet.

Two minor complaints:
I haven't been able to find the right auxiliary cord yet to try the aux feature, and I wish that the instruction booklet would tell you what kind of cord you need. One other complaint is that the screen is rather bright, not very convenient if you like to use your stereo at night, like me. However, it is very easy to place a cloth over the LCD display if you are that intent on having your bedroom dark. Personally, if I didn't have a street light shining in my window already, I would use the stereo as a night light.

Other than those minor details, I would say that this is a wonderful stereo. Considering the low cost, what more could you ask for?

I'm very disappointed by this unit - I expected better from Jensen. The CD player stopped recognizing CDs after only 2 months of light use. Cleaning the unit and the CDs didn't help. The motorized door on the CD player also stopped working shortly after that.

I am pleased with the sound and the features of this little stereo. I didn't expect to be blown away when I chose this unit, and I wasn't, but it has performed very well, everything works just fine and it gets a lot of use every day. I don't know why the CD didn't work for the other reviewer, but this one is working great.

I purchased this stero way back. Guess what? A none working stereo has been sent to my door, CD player not working! And this stereo is made from oversea! Cost you extra to send it back for repair to the seller! If you ever need a stereo ... suggest to buy at a local store!
