The JVC KS-IF200 is similar to the Jensen KVFM1 but has a feature where it will turn on when it senses input and shut off 20 seconds after the input goes away. Crutchfield carries it.

Amazon offers the "MOBILE AUTHORITY AV-FM Universal FM Stereo Modulator" (ASIN: B00006JPT6) which has the same auto on/off feature.

Sounds great, but needs a switched power supply.......2002-10-15

I thought this would be the perfect way to connect my Sony DRN-XM01 XM satellite receiver to the audio system in my truck, without having to use that miserable cassette adapter. After I connected it up according to the directions, it worked and sounded great!

Unfortunately, all of the radio stations that would've come in via the antenna outside antenna went away. When I disconnected the power to the modulator, the XM signal went away and the radio stations returned. I could hear a click in the modulator whenever the unit was powered up or down, which led me to suspect the antenna inputs are switched whenever the modulator is powered up.

I called Jensen technical support, who confirmed this is actually what's happening. It's designed to work with units such as the Sirius XM radio that have a switched power supply lead that can turn the modulator off and on. The tech suggested I could wire in some sort of toggle switch to turn it on when I needed it, but that sounded like more trouble than it was worth. I returned it, and I'm resuming my quest for a unit I can leave connected all the time.
