Do not buy.......2007-03-22

I received the router and tried to install it. I got up to the point where the router was to verify the connection and I lost my internet connection. I then found out that it deleted my IP address. Called Belkin tech support with a sad result. Bottom line is that I lost My IP address 3 times. Had to go to my server to restore it each time. Belkin tech support needs to be recycled. Talked to 12 repres. with no success. Will return this junk in a new box.

Wrong product description.......2007-02-17

After 2 bad Linksys routers and many hours on the phone with their tech support and being told that I must have had 2 bad routers from the same batch, I bought the Belkin. I was able to connect to BellSouth in a matter of minutes and so is the 2nd desktop in my office. The 2nd computer is able to connect to my hard drive, but, I cannot connect to it. When I called Belkin, I was told this router is just to connect to the internet, not set up to share files and printers. The product description clearly states "share files and peripherals."

5 minute setup, works great.......2006-12-14

I bought a Netgear and spent 5+ very frustrating hours trying to get it to work, and then it worked poorly only some of the time. Belkin includes a cd which does it all in just a few minutes.

Good router if you don't play online games.......2006-12-13

Don't get this router if you plan to play online games like "World of Warcraft" for example. You'll get frequent disconnection for no reason. Otherwise, the router is great for anything else (downloading large files, browsing, checking e-mail, etc) other than gaming. Gamers, stay away from this router.

I could be wrong but when i looked a this item i thought it was going to be a router that would interface to my DSL line. all it is a cheap firewall with a switch not at all what i wanted. the discription should say 4 port 10/100 Router.

It does everything i want it to do.......2005-02-04

I LIKE THIS CAMERA!!!I dont know very much about digital cameras,but after having this one for several weeks now,I cant imagine what an average digital camera is.I have used my 35mm Minolta for many years,and decided to get a digital.After exaustive research on Amazon and several other sites,i bought this one.It came from Willoughby's in New York City, all the way across the country from where i live.They helped me a lot to understand the camera after i bought it from them.My very first picture from this camera is on my desk top in my computer,17"x17".It is just as clear and crisp as the regular size picture is.I find that the manuals are easy to read,and are written for the average person to understand.The zoom on it is just one of the greatest parts of the camera.you can never have too much zoom.Anything less would not be adequate.the sequential picture mode is very fast,and CLEAR.The pictures load into my computer very fast and is easy to understand.For the money it is a great camera that rivals those costing a lot more.The more i use it, the more features i find,and how to use them.

Force Feedback Is Not For Everyone.......2005-02-17

I like force feedback when I play games I feel it adds more realism and that is the whole point. It also makes games more challenging once they are played out. This Joystick seems to apply more force than the standard 3d force feedback wingman model, and it has the scroll on the base and other features you can see listed in the specifications.

On the other hand, I know people who do not like force feedback at all and hate the joystick. So I think it is important to clarify the difference between a dislike with force feedback in general or a problem with this joystick in particular. Because I like Force Feedback in games, for me this joystick does everything it should and feels comfortable enough to use without being a distraction.

In conclusion, If you have never tried FF, I would buy a cheaper one and see if you like your games with it, but for those who are replacing or upgrading from another FF joystick, I think the improvements in this model are worth checking out.

Middle of the road stick.......2002-11-22

I bought this stick with great expectations and was really disappointed. I'll try to be informative.
- Stick is too loose, even with power to the stick. Too much play before the stick actually registers movement.
- Tried increasing tension of stick with the utility and it doesn't help.
- The effects were solid, but once again making any accurate/fine movements with the stick is impossible.

Maybe this would be a good supplemental stick, I don't think it's fit for duty as your main gaming stick. I ended up with a Sidewinder Precision Pro 2. Now that's a good stick.

Sorry Logitech, I love your keyboard, but your joystick leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I picked up the stick to do a little flying in Battlefield 1942 (BF). Now, given that BF could use a little more spit and polish in the joystick support department, the WingMan Strike Force 3D didn't meet my expectations.

It installed quickly and easily, no problems there. When I finally got around to the calibration phase, the stick seemed a bit loose and would pull to the left. I thought I could compensate by trying to calibrate so it would read the pull as the center, right? Wrong. Once I fired up BF, I was constantly having to compensate by pulling the stick to the right, which would throw off my ability to turn right (imagine flying a two engine plane with one engine out).

Needless to say, it's going back to the store tomorrow morning. I'll opt for a non-force feedback system for now (alot of the BF players have been complaining about not getting their Force Feedback sticks to work). I've heard good things about Microsoft's Precision Pro (non-Force Feedback), and even Logitech's WingMan Extreme 3D (non-Force Feedback). Until I can sock away [$$$] for the Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar, I'll keep trying to find a moderately priced stick that works well (I don't think that's too much to ask).

I suppose I should also note, that when I was out looking at sticks earlier in the day, I noticed that a few of the WingMan's rubber boots around the stick and the base were starting to crack.

Oh, one last thing, at the time of my writing this ..., Amazon has the wrong WingMan pictured. The Strike Force 3D has a wheel (similar to your mouse's wheel) off to the left side, with a button on both sides.
