Monnitor looks great.......2004-01-19
It's the brightest screen I have seen. The angels are amazing. When I have friends come over they can see my screen at almost any angles. They have all commented on it. And the 16ms is awesome. Games look great on it. Only problem is the resolution needs to be really high or things might turn blurry. However that's the same with all lcd screens and their native resolutions. I need a better video card now. :)

Benq FP767 has the best performance/cost ratio: with 500:1 contrast and 260 cd/m2, other LCD panels just look pale and dark sitting beside FP767.

This is my first flat screen monitor. I'm not super-happy with it, but I don't have any basis for comparison. When I took it out of the box and plugged it in, it worked fine, except it's blurry. I get the feeling that I have about 20/40 vision when I look at the screen. I checked the manual to see if there was an adjustment to make the image sharp or put the image in focus, and the problem was not mentioned in the manual. I searched the Web and found a few comments about flat screen monitors being out of focus, and that it requires some specialist technical skills to get the correct settings so that the image is sharp. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any more specific information about which settings to change or where, and so I've had to resign myself to the blur. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend this model of flat screen monitor to anyone but an expert who knows how to get the correct settings to make the monitor work properly. On the other hand, it is nice having the extra desk space and the speakers that are built into the monitor. So far, I have one dead pixel in the middle of the screen, but other than that and the blurriness problem, the monitor seems to function well enough.

Bright and Beautiful but bring other speakers.......2004-06-21
I just bought this monitor for my sister's new computer. She can't stop raving about it. Everything is clear, crisp, and easy on the eyes. Setup is easy and there is an auto-adjust feature. I played my Star Wars KOTOR game on it and did not notice any ghosting, smearing, or other artifacts thanks to the fast pixel response time. The monitor has an analog interface and comes with a standard cable to connect to a computer. The tiny, built-in speakers are a disappointment and there is no easy way to adjust the volume. You must use an on-screen menu to change the volume and there is no mute if you need the sound off fast. The visuals will "WOW" you, but the sound will hurt your ears.

Great Drive even on older/slower computer.......2002-11-30
This drive installed quite easy. It seemed not to want to go with burner as master and normal cd-rom as slave on secondary IDE channel. Made the switch to having the burner on the secondary channel and the hard drive and cd- rom on primary. This burner works great even on my computer running a Pentium 2 400 MHZ. I have no problems burning music and data. Overall great drive.

I can burn cd in two minutes, and dispite the other reviews the burner is easy to install and the nero software is great.

This is a nice price for a very speedy little CD burner. I installed it easily myself, but then I'm used to installing hardware.... Folks who never open the computer cover may prefer to have a friendly neighborhood nerd do it for them.
Best features: speed and reliability. I am burning audio and data CDs with remarkable speed and so far have not had a single failure -- no "coasters" from CDs that wouldn't complete. No doubt the 2 MB data buffer makes a big difference in performance, minimizing buffer errors that often occur when burning CD-ROMs. Being able to consistently burn 80 minute audio CDs in about two minutes is quite remarkable.
I'm neutral on the "Nero Burning ROM" software that comes with the burner. It has some nice drag-and-drop features, but the user interface needs help. Many options are buried deep in property menus. However, the software did enable us to get up and running quickly, so it's not bad for a freebie. The Nero CD Libary feature has a serious glitch -- by default it stores audio CD information in the root of the C:\ drive, which is not advisable. This can be modified though.
All in all, an easy choice -- good price, good performance for the hardware. But you will may want to look for more sophisticated software for creating CDs and maintaining a CD library.

Drive installed in minutes. Running:
-Windows XP
-ECS K7S5A motherboard
-384MB DDR RAM
-Athlon 1.2GHz
Actually burned at 48x. Ripped/burned five 80min audio disks in 2 min, 20sec each, on average. Not a single pop, click or skip. Backed up some files at 12x to the CD-RW that came with it, and that was equally easy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Slightly easy to install but not for novices. Had problems with the software and it wouldnt install. To even get tech support you have to submit a form via their web site and wait 72 hours for conformation. But overall and okay burner for the price.

Don't buy this. I saved up for it during my freshman year of college because I really wanted a camera and I was so disapointed when I received this. I recently gave it to my 8 year old brother to play with. Its too crappy to pawn off to someone on ebay. Dont waste your money. Eats batteries before you can even take a picture and the flash feature is terrible, along with the quality of the pictures.

Do not..I repeat... DO NOT waste your money on this thing..it is garbage!!!! you have to carry around a stack of batteries just to take more than 5 pictures. There is a delayed second flash so unless you tell everyone your taking pictures of to wait for both flashes your going to get a lot of blurry faces. The picture quality is disgusting and impossible to edit. You can't take any close up pictures with the flash on because all you would see is hair and eyes.. I recently used it at a wedding and tried to take decent pictures from 3 rows away but even that failed to produce anything nice. When I took some pictures outdoors everybody including the background was blue...please save your self the frustration and opt for a more better quality camera..

The camera is very easy to use, I just received it last week and can't wait to start using it. I took a couple of shots just to see how it worked and it's very easy. It has a big screen on the back...and it's also easy to hook up to a pc.
Perfect for the girls...my other camera was too big to take out when partying and this one fits perfectly in my purse. And if I lose...oh well, no big deal, it's so inexpensive!!
Highly breakable, confusing P.O.S........2006-03-18
We bought this for our 12-year old in December 2005 and just threw it out after taking 0 acceptable photos with it. We already have 2 other digital cameras in the house and have used them extensively for two years so this was not a user problem.
1. 2 crucial buttons fell off in one month. We used a paper clip instead.
2. All photos we've taken have been orange-cast, dark, and blurry.
3. The on-off switch is malfunctioning. It's almost impossible to turn the camera off, which means the batteries run down quickly.
4. The user manual has no information on how to correct image problems. We have yet to find any on-line help.
5. Buttons on the camera are tiny and hard to use. Button functions are extremely difficult to figure out unless you have the manual on your knee. Not an intuitive design at all.
We had high hopes for this camera and bought it because of a few good reviews and the camera's sleek design.
Don't waste your money on this.
Great little camera, but not worth $100.......2006-02-28
I like this camera, and it is very cute. I love the fact that it is "the size of a credit card", and it fits in most pockets. The problems that I have with it, though, are these:
1. It takes the flash about 10 seconds on average to get ready
2. When the flash is ready, it isn't very effective and usualy makes the picture worse
3. The pictures end up being blurry unless you keep your hand perfectly still
4. The button that you move around to look at pictures and do different things with can be easily broken and isn't very manageable
These are the four problems I have with this camera. I got this camera because it was cute and small. If that is your reason, you can't get much better, but if you want to take nice pictures, I suggest getting another brand.
