Able to handle big print jobs, the HL-2600cn has a 266 MHz MPSTM PR4955 processor and 64 MB of standard memory (expandable to 384 MB). Automatic switching of printer emulations and drivers from PC to Mac and from one input source to another (USB, parallel, Ethernet, or CompactFlash) provide both flexibility and reliable operation.

Print resolutions of up to 2,400 x 600 dpi result in accurate, true-to-life output, while print times as fast as 24 ppm for monochrome and 6 ppm for color deliver jobs when you need them. The standard 250-sheet paper input capacity can be expanded to 1,000 sheets with the addition of two optional input trays, while a 250-sheet output tray is standard. A wide variety of paper sizes are supported, including letter, executive, A4, A5, B5, and envelopes. An optional duplexing unit provides automatic double sided-printing should you need it.

The included software includes a number of applications designed to increase print quality, including color advances photoscale technology (CAPT), pantone color matching, interactive help, storage manager, and driver development wizard. I got my radios before they were due to arrive. I like the radios instuction are easy to follow, but the range is not nearly as good as advertised. I'm lucky get 3/4 mile on all radios the small radios have a range just as good as the Motorola T4550AA GMRS. i'm disappointed about the range. I think the wattage is to low and they need a better antenna.
overall I would rate them a 3 on a scale of 1 to 5

I read a review of this product that complained about compatablity. This product works just fine on my computer (K6-2 AMD 300mHz), and no this product does not work on a TV, it is for your computer. If you can't get this drive to work on your computer its probably because its an Intel processor, buy AMD =).

The drive will not work in a 233mmx without a driver. I could not get it to work in a Celron 266. I thought it would work with my TV.

this is the crappiest electronic equipment i have ever bought since a wireless headphone (which im going to comment on as soon as i finish here) i bought.
I cant copy anything, everything gives an error, im talking about files of 20 mbs tops!
I managed to save my entire music library because i turned on the AC and a fan so it doesnt overheat. I read that solution on a mac forum because Lacie doesnt even bother to tell you temporary solutions...
Its really bad, trust me this is my first comment on a product and its because im really pissed off.

This is one awesome looking match for the Mac-mini. Actually looks like it was made by Apple....identical color and styling as Mac-mini. My 40GB Mac-mini was almost full with over 4000 songs and many digital pictures. I could no longer update my Ipod due to no more storage space on the hard-drive. My choices were increase the hard-drive capacity....$$$$$$$. The more economical option was to get an external hard-drive. I looked at over 20 different options and chose the Lacie 160GB model for the Mac-mini. Simple installation....didn't have to use the enclosed driver disk. Loaded in seconds and was ready for action. I highly recommend this for a great looking application that looks more like a piece of art than a bulky computer component.

Great addition to my Mini.......2006-02-24

When I first bought my Mini, I didn't really check out all the capabilities and purchased an inexpensive USB drive to use for backup. I found out later that the Mini won't boot from a USB drive, but will from a Firewire drive. I searched several possibilities and picked the LaCie 160GB because of capacity and price. It boots flawlessly and gives me more space than I will hopefully ever use. I partitioned the drive to have an image of the built-in drive plus a large area for archiving files that I don't necessarily need on my main drive I use SuperDuper! for backups and do an incremental backup weekly.
