The ELPH LT 260 Advanced Photo System Camera strengthens Canon's existing line of ELPH-series cameras by providing many of the features offered by Canon's original ELPH camera. Its ultra-compact size and lightweight of 5.3 ounces makes it easy to carry, while maintaining the same stylish design that has made the ELPH-series cameras industry best sellers. The camera measures an impressive 3.7 (W) x 2.5 (H) x 1.2 (D) inches and is equipped with a 26-52mm f/4.2-6.7 (equivalent to 32.5-65mm with 35mm-format cameras) 2x aspherical zoom lens composed of six lenses in six groups. The ELPH LT 260's single-point active autofocus system is fast and accurate with an effective focusing range of approximately 18 inches to infinity. The Canon ELPH LT 260 incorporates a powerful built-in, multi-function flash unit with a flash range of 1.5-18.5 feet (wide angle) and 1.5-11.8 feet (telephoto) at ISO 200. The flash unit pops up and retracts as the camera's main switch is turned on and off, similar to the original ELPH model. The ELPH LT 260's flash system offers several modes, including Auto (with and without red-eye reduction), Flash ON, Flash OFF, and Slow-Synchro. The camera also incorporates all the basic features of the Advanced Photo System, including easy drop-in film loading, three shooting formats and built-in date and title functions. A core capability of the Advanced Photo System is Magnetic Information Exchange (IX), which enables the entire system - from cameras to photofinishing equipment - to share information. Utilizing this technology, the Canon ELPH LT records information for every exposed frame, including date, time, print aspect ratio, flash condition, lighting conditions, etc.

For anyone who is interested in an non-digital camera, this is the camera for you! It does all the basics and much more. It's a camera you can keep with you at all times. Takes great pictures with good quality. It does the job without all that other clutter you get from carrying a bulky camera were you have to change lenses....

I love the features of this camera, but my camera was delivered damaged.
I returned the item. I received a email stating that my card would be credited, but it has not yet been credited yet.

Great little camera, but does not have midroll rewind despite the description. I owned the Elph LT until it was stolen, and the Elph 370Z (which does have midroll rewind) for seven years of frequent use before the flash quit working. Was delighted to find this one new. Too bad APS cameras were discontinued.

This is a great little machine. Sturdier flash than original elph. Slightly larger. Plastic body instead of metal. Great pocket camera. Carry it everywhere and never miss a shot. APS prints best on "H",but the panoramic setting is fun. Like a Leica 111f, always ready, easy to carry fun.

I deliberately purchased an out-dated product to replace a similat camera that was stolen, as in some ways it is more flexible than my digital camera, and compements the other. I carry both with me at all times and use whichever is better suited for the particular shot I have in mind.

I've had my Elph APS camera for 3 or 4 years now, and I love it! It takes high quality pictures, the APS film is easy to load, and it has lasted me year after year. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple, quality camera - I'm even looking into purchasing an Elph Digital camera, based on my experience with this Elph APS.

Great, convenient little camera with APS capability........2002-07-23

I received this camera as a gift several years ago, and I haven't been disappointed. The Elph is a small, convenient camera with several great features, including the APS system, a timer, and a zoom lens. It takes incredibly sharp, clear pictures using any type of film. I only have two minor complaints: 1) an even longer zoom lens would be great, and 2) the manual doesn't do a good enough job of explaining the various types of flash modes. But overall, I recommend the Elph to any amateur photographer looking to take great pictures without a lot of hassle.

I was thrilled with the results of the camera, great panoramic pictures, great night shots, and everything one could ask for.
However, one fine day, the camera just stopped working. The manufacturers looked at it and pointed out something about problems in power. I was expected to pay a lotfor repairs.BR>It was very disappointing.
