After opening up the packages I noticed that of the 12, ONLY the Photo Cyan and Photo Magenta cartridges were labeled as being compatible with my printer. The Black Ink was even in a different cartridge as the others. I was about to put the black cartridge in my printer when I noticed something felt wet, turns out it was black ink leaking all over my hands and clothes. After CAUTIOUSLY trying another, it appeared that everything was fine (at least it didn't leak all over me). The first few photos I had printed had a horribly dark color tone and white lines all through the image, it turns out the darker color were bleeding into the cartridges of the lighter colors. They destroyed two of my Canon Ink Cartridges.

Everyone who gave positive reviews for this product is either lying or had their eyes closed. Another fine product MADE IN CHINA.

Is it too good to be true?.......2007-07-04

I have purchased 2 sets of the BCI6. They work in my Canon PIXMA and my wifes standard color printer.

The packaging is excellent (plastic sealed wrapped and boxed). I have printed a half dozen pictures and can find no problem with the quality of the prints. In fact, they look better than many in-store labs. My wife has not noticed any difference in the subject inks and the Canon brand.

At this point, these seem like quite a bargain.

Excellent alternative to Canon Ink!.......2007-03-30

Always skeptical of things that sound too good to be true, I tried these inks. I first came across OA100 inks in several favorable posts on a photography forum, so I hunted down the Abacus website and ordered two sets at a significantly hiher price, but less than half the cost of Canon OEM. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, but there were some color issues that had to be resolved. Results were fairly vibrant, but with a noticeable shift to the warm side. After creating a profile and making the proper adjustments, the results are equal to or better than the results I was getting with oem ink on non-Canon paper, even with after creating custom profiles for the canon ink/third party papers. When I came across these for sale at Amazon, for the ridiculous price of $1.50 each, I bought 4 sets and have never looked back. I will never buy Canon OEM ink again. It is not better, and especially not worth over 6 times the cost of OEM. I have been using these for 4 months on a Canon i9100 without any printer issues.

H07 has struck again.......2007-09-19

I've had mine for at least 3 years and now it's finally dead. I've received the H07 error in the past and the player still worked after I re-inserted the disk but not this time. It was good while it lasted but now I must buy a new dvd player. And it won't be a panasonic.

Possible fix for H07.......2007-05-06

After four years, my RV32 recently gave the dreaded H07 error. This appears to be caused by a sticking spindle motor (the mechanism that spins the disc).

Those handy with a screw driver and spray lubricant may be able to breathe a few more weeks/months/years into the unit. Not for the faint of heart but if you are handy and careful, you may be rewarded:
1. On a good work surface, turn on the unit and hit eject.
2. FOR YOUR SAFETY: Unplug the unit (with tray open)
3. Remove the cover (7 screws: 4 sides, 3 back)
4. Remove the front panel and disc assembly (gently remove two-wired connector, top circuit board, etc. - six screws, two nylon clip posts, plastic clips and connectors on front panel). Be cautious and gentle on this part -- take your time to see how everything comes apart.
5. Spray a synthetic/PTFE lubricant away from the laser assembly towards the spindle motor shaft. This is the metal rod that spins the black circle that then spins the disk. WD40 could also be used, but may gum up more quickly (leading to H07 again). Only a VERY SMALL amount is required.
6. Reassemble unit. With cover completely reinstalled, plug unit in and cross your fingers.

A week after this repair my RV32 is still going strong. In a dusty/dirty environment this motor will likely stick sooner rather than later.

Impending DH07M!.......2007-04-28

Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick....it will get you too! It lurks within. The dreaded H07 (after four years) finally struck my Panasonic down. Based on the dozens of messages below, there is no recourse. Thus, I'm taking a hammer to it this evening -- should be fun! If you own one, it's only a matter of time. If you just bought one -- take it back! Run to the store! Panasonic is laughing at you.

H07 error.......2007-01-14

After only two years of moderate use received the H07 error. (The spindle motor that spins the DVD does not work.) Searched online for fixes and contacted Panasonic. Online fixes didn't work and Panasonic support was awful! Essentially it is boat anchor. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. And, I would think twice about any/all Panasonic products.

I have to say - the player worked good then I got the "HO7" error. I think my player lasted more than others...we just don't play many dvd's - but still, the fact you get this error and its doomed..does not make me happy. Move on and buy OTHER THAN PANASONIC, a well researched and quality player. Stay away from this one.
