Nice pocket Camera.......2006-06-17

I got this camera as a gift about 2 years ago now to just take everyday photos, and to have with me for short road trips for those "little moments". This camera does a good job for someone needing it for these requirements.

Good Features:
SD expansion (i have 512mb in it = 1024 photos on best quality)
Resonable battery life- around 200 photos I believe, if not more
Good Size, fits in my pocket
Price-35 dollars on clearance at a chain store.

Downs:
1.3megapixels-4x6 is as big as you can get a photo with decent quality/no pixelation
Small buttons-can easily accidently erase something
No sound on video clips-not a big deal, it's a camera!!

Overall, I am very pleased with this, have gotten much use out of it, and as another reviewer did, this is an excellent starter camera for kids. Hope this is helpful

GREAT little camera for the money..........2004-12-29

I got this camera for $60 at Target for my almost 8 y/o son for Christmas... it is a great little camera for the money! You can use the LCD screen for taking and viewing pictures (just like mom's camera) and the picture quality is pretty good, too. We haven't used the video function yet, but my son thinks that is going to be really cool, too... it also has macro and distance functions... It holds 14 (highest quality) pictures w/o any kind of card, but we bought him a 128 MB SD Card and now it holds 247 (highest quality) pictures. We tried a similar camera by Vivitar and returned it for this one... the only drawback I can see is it takes a little photo lithium battery, not something I can just recharge...

tiny, cheap and better than most!.......2004-06-12

This is a great starter digital. It's user friendly and unlike many digital cameras with LCDs, this one also has a viewfinder, so you can take pictures in bright sunlight! If a digital camera doesn't have an optical viewfinder, the LCD screen is worthless outside when the sun is bright -- you can't see what you're aiming at.

The only drawback is that the drivers on the CD are old, so if you use Windows XP or Mac OS X, you will need to buy additional memory and a card reader. I bought a 64meg SD card for $29 and a SanDisk card reader for $19.

Don't be fooled by other cameras boasting more megapixels either because I tried one that said it was 3.1 with higher resolutions than this one at 1.3. But this Concord EyeQ Go LCD at 1.3 megapixels took better, clearer images. Megapixels mean nothing if the lens and mechanism are worthless.

Don't be afraid to buy this camera; at under $100, it's a great buy and easy to use and fits in any pocket.

Only ONE Good Thing About It!.......2003-12-18

I bought this camera for a very special occassion. I needed a camera for a very special trip I was taking with my daughter.
First, there isn't an memory card that would fit into it without SHOVING it in! I did get good photos. Too bad the camera DELETED them while I watched, not even TOUCHING anything! I had a good return policy, which is the ONLY good thing about this piece of JUNK!!!

I am not a photographer and don't plan to be one. However, I do enjoy taking pictures of everyday life to cherish the memories. I was hesitant to buy a digital camera at this price because I was afraid the picture quality would be poor. I believe I made the right decision in purchasing this one.

Yes, there are better cameras on the market - there are A LOT worse. It does have its little bugs as the others have stated, but I would still recommend this camera for those that want to take nice pictures at a reasonable price.

The camera is descent for being so small and such. but it really lacks when it comes to quality. Only get this camera if you want to snap small shots that don't need the detail and unlike some other reviews that say it doesn't it really does work with xp. I have used it on 4 diffrent computers that have XP.

it's not a good camera, in my eyes........2002-12-15

i got my eye Q go camera as a gift and 2days later had to take it back because it got to hot and i didn't know what was wrong with it and the store i got it from gave me a nother one, so i have been trying to take pictures inside and they just don't come out. if you by one of these cameras it is for out side use only, it's also not a camera to use if you want to print the pictures out. they come out not good... if i had to bye a camera it wouldn't be this one, beleive me....

Lens

mechanically unsound.......2004-03-10

Feature wise this model is OK, although it is missing two key features: color viewfinder(useful under bright light) and analog input(dubbing analog tapes). However my unit has been having mechanical problems right after the waranty expired. The camcorder would refuse to load any cassette, more often than not the tape will get jammed inside the camcorder. I had to cut off one recorded tape (thus losing my recordings) to get it out of the machine. Switching different brand of tapes did not help either. I do not recommend this unit at all.

Great Feautures.......2003-12-13

The camcorder is pretty easy to handle, it's a standard horizontal layout but it's pretty small. You can also save 30 second MPEG-4 clips to the SD cards.The 1.3 Mega Pixel CCD is better than the 1 Mega Pixel on the Sony DCR-TRV25 and the 1 Mega Pixel on the JVC GL-DV820U.The camcorder has an IEEE 1394 Firewire in/out port to transfer your video from your camcorder to your computer digitally. The camcorder also has a composite in/out port and an S-Video out port. The PV-DV702 also has a headphone jack. The PV-DV702 also has a microphone jack. Another neat feature on the PV-DV702 is an audio dubbing mode (only with SP video) which allows you to re-record the audio over pre-recorded video. You can also use the PV-DV702 as webcam using the USB port. Working with Microsoft NetMeeting or similar web cam software, the PV-DV702 can be hooked up to a computer to use it as web cam or a videophone.

This camera does everything it claims. Beautiful picture from a one chip device; not many independent controls, but this is designed for auto operation and it does this very well. does not include a firewire cable inexplicably!!! and does not describe the connection upload speeds which would be helpful. USB is one minute per one second of video so put some coffee on. The still chip is directly accessible by Explorer on your PC so it is very fast. Stills are great feature. You can put any size chip in---I used a 128meg chip perfectly although the manual stops at 64 meg---poor documentation. Does a very good job of freezing golf swings!!! and was used for this extensively at Hilton Head last week. OVerall a great camera for the family if you want stills and minidv in one

Outstanding - couldn't be more pleased.......2003-01-09

I use this to record my kids athletic events and to date the unit has performed flawlessly. Picture quality is excellent, recording made in a gym look great on playback.
