as easy as they get.......2007-08-11
screw ipod. if life was as easy as this muvo, you wouldn't need. just load the cd to set up the software, plug in the muvo into the usb port, select your songs, and transfer them over. done. one small detail that people need to know about organizing the songs: label the songs in numerical order starting with 01. for example: 01 beat it, 02 thriller, 03 billie jean, 04 smooth criminal, etc.
the special features rock, such as the fm radio, microphone, recorder, are awesome. i had a 64 mb muvo that cost me $12 dollars and i loved it. but i wanted more storage and this was more than enough.
i'm going to name my first-born muvo.
dad loves it.......2007-03-31
got this as a present for my dad and he taught himself how to use, how to rip CD's into mp3 format, and how to look cool with it in the gym...
Sounds Excellent, but not well built.......2007-03-01
I had gotten this little piece for my dad. He throughly seems to enjoy the quality of sound. Easy to use, easy to add files, just drag n drop. Decent battery life. I noticed that battery cover keeps falling off and he had to tape it into place. I would have loved it if they had incorporated a SD expansion slot.
There are MP3 Players besides ones from Apple.......2007-02-03
I was determined to get an MP3 player that would let me give my money to someone other than Apple. I did a lot of research and this little MP3 kept coming up as affordable, realible and easy to use. I'm happy to report that all of those are true! It's lightweight and the little clip makes it a piece of cake to use while running. It connects via USB without any additional wires or special docking stations. Plug, load, go! Don't be a lemming...resist the Apple domination...the Starbucks of the tech world!
Good value, easy to use.......2007-01-04
My very non-technical Dad is able to use it by himself, nuff said.

Creative MuVo MP3 Player.......2007-01-12
Use this all the time for downloading and listening to books from the library. Great for work, listening out in the yard, on walks etc. Downloading is easy. Sometimes have difficulty getting it to start at the same place where I last left off, but in the end can get there.
excellent and easy to use.......2006-11-10
Very happy with this product, battery life could improve.
Well worth the money.......2006-11-08
I have owned a Creative Muvo TX FM 512MB for nearly 2 years. Bought it for $140 when it first came on the market and have no regrets since. Despite an increasing number of newer, prettier and gadget loaded players, I'm still happy with my Creative Muvo.
I'm not a technologically advanced person so it's simple layman experience here.
This small Zippo sized MP3 player is very easy to use. Just install the CD software included and you're all set. Open program. Plug player into USB port. Point, click and drag music files. Most of my music are MP3 or WMA format. I have had no problems with the Creative MediaSource software on my XP machine.
Sound quality is excellent. Choose from rock, jazz, classical or pop settings or customize your own EQ. I use it with my AKG K-26P headphones and the bass rocks. For classical music, the sound is clear and clean.
Design is business-like and functional. Extremely durable, thanks to the battery module (or battery case). I dropped it several times and it continued to work. One day, after a particularly bad fall, the battery case door finally broke and I simply ordered a new one for $10 from Creative. Replaced it and the player has worked perfectly since. I seriously doubt that the ultra cool and sleek IPod could have survived my abuse this well.
If I have any complaints, the AAA battery life is pretty average even on light use, lasting 3-4 days. I mainly use the player during work commute. I switched to Sony rechargeable batteries. While it did not lengthen battery life, the switch saved me a lot of money. Voice recorder is terribly muffled but this function is not an essential part of my MP3 player requirements.
If you are looking for a functional, easy to use MP3 player, at its current $60 price tag, the Creative Muvo TX FM 512MB is still one of the better players in the market.
Maddening.......2006-09-07
At first I loved this thing, but if something goes wrong, good luck. Last night I hit the wrong thing and fast forwarded to the end of a program. I could never get back to that program and ended up totally lost and with my information upside down.
Looking at my laughable instruction booklet was no help. There is not even anything to tell me what the various icons mean. I went into the website and couldn't get it to take an email for support, so I called a 1-888 number and was told it was for sales. They then gave me a number for support that wasn't even toll free. I called it and was told there would be an unusually long wait.
Thanks for nothing Ceative.
If you are a technologically skilled person, you may love this thing, but if not -- forget it. You sure won't get any help from the company.
Warranty Sucks.......2006-01-28
I liked the price. Good buy for the money. I called to get replacement because it kept turning off for no reason. Was told that I had to send $24.95 in order to get it repaired or replaced even though it was still covered under warranty. Maybe it's just me but, doesn't sound like much of a warranty. Check the replacement/repair warranty before you buy.

Great case for Zen Nano.......2007-04-01
The only thing I don't like about this case is the color/style (black/silver) but that's just a personal issue. However, I love the case itself because you can carry everything you use with the Zen Nano in it (earbuds, cords, USB cord, etc.)
Great Protection for Player.......2007-03-23
The case was a little bigger than need be. Could be more the size of the player. I like the fact that you can also carry the earbuds in the case.

Creative MuVo TX FM MP3 Player.......2005-09-15
The player is good. It isn't the smallest player out there but it is small enough to easily fit in almost anywhere. I like the fact that the drive is removable and can be used just like a normal USB (jump) drive. This means I can move music or other files to and from other computers, without worrying about having the software to do so.
Not worth it!.......2005-06-25
I had not used this player much and it stopped working within one month! These players are very cheaply manufactured in China, and when ever I touched the player.. I heard this annoying cracking noise. It is excellent in features, but it won't last long.
Poor quality, broke after 1 hour use.......2005-05-01
I've read many great reviews about this mp3 player on this site and other sites, so I decided to get one myself.
When I got the player I immediately regretted. The player was bulkier than I expected and the contruction feels cheap, when I remove the battery and the USB storage unit I can see chasis of the player is poorly made.
The features are ok and although the controls weren't perfectly intuitive it shouldn't take long to get familiar with them.
After using it for 1 hour I accidentally gave it a slight bump, it looked ok at first then when I pressed the controls the unit died and never came back up, so I had to return the unit for a refund.
bottomline:
if you're tight on your budget but you want a flash mp3 player with many features, otherwise pay a little more for something with better quality
Great workout MP3 player!.......2005-04-12
My wife got one of these. It's extremely small, durable and has a nice selection of functions (MP3 playback, FM radio tuner with 20 presets and voice recording). It simply plugs into the USB port of your computer for MP3 downloading, so it's simple to replace music. The sound quality is excellent. It holds about 100 MP3 songs at 192 KbPS. Good for workouts or for travel.
Great player.......2005-02-18
I love this little player; great for running on the treadmill or on long flights or trips. Only downside I see is that the earbuds are much too big for my ears. I've had other people try them on as well and most agree that they fit, but painfully.
Otherwise a great alternative to the hard-drive based iPods and other juke-box types.

hard to figure out, but tough as nails.......2006-11-26
I have been using the sony radios for years, having to replace them every few months due to the abuse I place on them. I bought this Panasonic just "for the heck of it" and have been extremely impressed. It will take anything you can throw at it. The reception is very good on both am and fm (though I listen to mostly am). It has a somewhat difficult learning curve with the little joystick and all, but once you get used to it, no big deal. Battery life is impressive as well. I am unsure if this model is even still available, but if you want a rugged little radio, this is the one.
Good little radio.......2004-07-29
Ok, people. First of all, the city function on this puppy (like all radios with this capability) is designed to make the radio LESS sensitive to radio signals, rather than more sensitive. The idea is that in a large city, there are going to be lots of radio stations, and the city function allows you to filter out the weaker ones that might be competing for the same frequency that a stronger station is using. Make sense?
Anyway, this is actually a pretty decent radio. I bought it on clearance at Strawberries for a measly seven bucks, and for that price I have nothing to complain about.
Reception is decent to very good, and the amplifier has enough power to drown out a lawnmower, which is what I bought it for.
The extra bass function is a little too enthusiastic, in my opinion, but I guess that is why they invented off buttons.
Overall, I would highly recommend this unit if you can find it for anything close to what I paid for it. I'd start getting a lot pickier if I had to pay list price (approx $45.00, or so) since for a little more you can start looking at MP3 players. For example, I bought a basic Rio S10 at Sam's Club for about 55 dollars.
For a little radio, this one performs very well.
ShockWave Will Be Missed, But Not Replaced.......2004-07-08
The size, shape of the radio are perfect for shoving in your pocket and forgetting about. It has a hold function to keep the buttons from being push, but unfortunatly atleast once a day I would succeed in turning off the hold function from within my pocket. The best feature is by far the battery compartment and the 20 plus battery hours it gets on a single AAA battery. The reception is pretty good, although it picks up disturbances from nearby cell phones. There are a whole list of bad qualities with this radio. The first are the headphones, which are the most uncomfortable one I have ever had the displeasure of putting in my ears. I threw them out within thirty minutes and replaced them with an old set that only had one speaker working; a much better tradeoff. It is unbelievable difficult to remember how to use station preset function. I figured it out twice only to forget it a few weeks later. It also has this city function that keeps all stations from coming in at all. I really don't understand what the purpose is of that unless you want to listen to white noise to fall asleep.
Last week I finally lost my ShockWave radio, though I will miss it, I plan on trying my luck on something a little better. I could have swore that in the late 90's when you paid between $40-$60 dollars for a walkman you used to get something of slightly better quality. Now all you get in this price range is garbage. Is this progress?
The best little radio yet.......2004-03-31
I've been using little radios on my commute for years, and this is the best - even better than the old SONY FM/AM Walkman Sports that was my previous favorite. Terrific FM reception, it pulls in a pretty good selection of downtown stations even when my train reaches the outer 'burbs (and it receives very well inside the train, another sign of the tuner strength). The best, most convenient battery change I've ever seen, and runs for quite a while on a single AAA. Size is perfect. Distant/Local switch handles downtown overload pretty well.
Downsides: Memorizing a station requires a Mensa certificate, no auto-off (do any of them?) - but these are minor. Great choice for a commuter radio.
I love the Item.......2003-11-03
I bought one item like this and like it , sound is clear with extra bass, reception is much better, better than Sony. most of the people mistaken it like Mp3 because of the style. i like listening on radio all the time and one solve the problem, lite and comfortable to carry.
Planning to buy another one just in case, coz i know they don't distribute this anymore. do you think i reccomend this ? , you Bet. i bought a armstrap to put in , and it ready to go. try it , you will love it.
