I want to give this product a zero rating! Within one month of purchase, the battery lid got broken and I could not put it back. I made a phone call to creative and was told that the battery was NOT covered in warranty. The replacement would cost me $4.9 plus shipping and package with totals around 30. I argured with the CSR and they just rudely hang off the phone. I will never ever buy a creative product again. Guys, if you want to waste your money and be treated rudely, do not hesitate. Otherwise, choose a more honorabl brand!

The Creative Zen Nano Plus Rocks!.......2007-01-28

The Creative Zen Nano Plus MP3 player is very small, not much bigger than a cigarette lighter, but it delivers great sound. From music to audio books, this little gem will not disappoint, especially for the price. The only con is that the battery doesn't charge from the USB port from what I've read, but you can buy rechargeable batteries and a battery charger or an ac adapter.

Good for exercise.......2007-01-20

The 512 MB player doesn't hold a ton of songs, but is definitely enough room for songs to listen to while exercising. You'll want to purchase the arm strap specifically made for this player. It's available on the Creative site. The main buttons (on/off/pause; volume; and forward/back) are easy enough to work while jogging. The menu system is useless. For example, it let's you skip a folder, but nothing (on the menu or in the online documentation) tells you how to get it back in the play rotation. I've had this player for over a year now and it has been on my arm while jogging in the elements (snow, rain, heat) practically every other day and is still functioning great. The ear buds that come with the player are pretty sad - they fall out and the foam pieces come off rather easily. I finally had to replace them with something less annoying.

Bottom line - if you can get this player cheaply, it's a good buy. Just don't expect it to be comparable to an iPod.

Lots of issues.......2007-01-18

This item has a lot of flaws, the only reason I got it was the price was quite less and it was a nice techy stocking stuffer of sorts. I have listed some of the issues i have seen with this product here:

1. Battery case - this is a flimsy piece of plastic and the finger that enables the cover to click shut will break with the slightest pressue. I totally agree with the other people who commented on this issue. Yes you can prevent it from breaking if you are willing to spend 5-10 minutes to slowly change the batteries but once you tend to hurry up with this process the end is inevitable!

2. Power off - the power off si the same as play or power on. If you want to power it off you got to press until you see the unit display switch off else it will stay powered on and playing and drain the battery or probably if in recording more might use up your entire storage space.

3. Chord - comes with chord to hang the unit around the neck while listening to stuff but unfortunately just like the battery case, the groove on the unit into which you are supposed to slip the chord and fasten it, is flimsy as well. It might break off if you have it caught somewhere and try to pull it free instead of patiently working it.

4. UI is bad - the IPOD click wheel is very simple and so is the Zune UI. This one is simple cos there is just one way to use it but its not easy to use.

Go for a IPOD Nano if you will. This one is not worth the investment.

this player looks cooler than the sansa series, and seems to crash/have errors less, but:

- it lacks a lock button
- the display only shows the song title and track time and battery life (the sansas show much more info)
- the "wheel button" feels cheesy like it could break and doesn't make control any easier
- the headphones are more uncomfortable and fall out for me (i think they are too big, and i have a big head)

overall, i'd say it has a much better value than an ipod, but about the same value as the sansas.

Great for beginners.......2003-10-28

I bought this camera last christmas after a thorough search especially on the amazon site for reviews. I had several brands and models in mind, but I opted finally for the D520 for the price, its compactness, it uses only 2 batteries and came with a 16Mb card ( not 8 MB as with other brands at the time).
I am really happy with this camera. If you want an easy to use, all automatic, not expensive camera that gives GREAT pictures, then this is the one.

somewhat poor replacement for a D400Zoom.......2003-10-05

Our venerable Olympus D-400Zoom was stolen (1.3MP, 4AA batteries and $700 5 years ago) and we received a $200 credit towards a replacement from the insurance company. This seemed the closest equivalent for less -- 2MP, 2AA batteries and lighter with USB instead of a pokey slow serial connection. All is well except of 2 major and 1 minor annoyances you'd think they would have fixed 5 years later:

- the flash pops out always and can't be pushed back in when the camera is taking pictures (you can hold it back in, but that's awkward)

- the flash recharges slower than it did on the D400Zoom

- the picture quality setting is not "sticky" -- each time you power on the camera, the quality setting changes back to High Quality which is not necessary most of the time as we put our pictures on webpages primarily

That said, the refurbished camera for $145 was a bargain for this camera and we'll learn to live with the annoyances for now!

Not very good.......2006-10-24

This VCR lasted almost a year but just broke. It now plays sound but no picture during video playback. Setup and programming was very easy. I liked how it could remember up to 8 different programs. If I taped a TV show using SP speed, the picture during playback was very good. (I also recorded some home movies using SP speed and they turned out well.) If I used the SLP speed, the picture playback was horrible, much worse than my old Sony (which I had for 12 years and loved until it finally died). It had no index search feature like my old Sony which was inconvenient. I never used the commercial skip feature; I just fast forwarded through commercials on my own. For some reason, if it was recording a show, I couldn't figure out how to watch my TV seperately. (It wouldn't let the antennae signal through to the TV.) In the past couple of months, it started having a hard time rewinding tapes (even new ones) and didn't record well at the beginning of a tape so the motor was going. Isn't anything built to last anymore? I'm buying a Sony with a two-year replacement plan because nothing is built to last these days. Sigh...

The Zenith VCS442 is a Lemon.......2006-03-21

He purchase 30 of these for classroom use. Most of them are having the same problem. What appears to be a bad tracking problem is in fact a bad solder joint or connection. Sorry LG/Zenith, you have lost us a customers next time around.

It was broken out of the box.......2005-10-10

I tried to hook up my DVD to this item right out of the box. None of the audio video jacks worked. I could get a picture but no sound when I hooked the DVD player to the front of the VCR which is for other devices

Good for the money........2005-10-09

This Zenith VCR does everything it was supposed to do and I have no complaints. It plays commercially recorded tapes, it plays tapes recorded on other machines and on this machine. It's not state of the art and doesn't have all the bells and whistles...but it only costs 50 bucks for Pete's sake! I'm happy with it.

First of all, I bought 2 of this model thru Amazon.com both units are JUNK!!!
The only way you can get a record to playback properly (if you're Lucky) is to FF the tape to the half way mark of the tape then start your record.
This is the only way you have good chance to watch without uncontrolable video roll along with audio pops and dropouts.
