The Basics

Hard Drive: The 100 GB hard drive (4200 RPM) is one of the largest hard drives offered in a notebook, and it provides enough room for storing a multimedia library and for some video editing.
Processor: The Mobile Intel Pentium 4 548 processor features one of the fastest notebook clock speeds available: 3.33 GHz. Thank God For Extended Warranties.......2007-07-05

I've have the mother board replaced, the hard drive replaced twice and LCD screen replaced 3 times. Currently, I waiting for a new AC adapter which just went out recently. I invested a lot of money in buying this machine because at the time the specs were incredible. You're not going to find manny 3.3 GHZ processors for under 3k. I will eventually buy another machine but I'll always keep this around with my extended warranty in effect.

After manufacturer's one year warranty expires, the laptop turns off by itself, the LCD screen gave up and the drive does not read.

I bought this phone for my mother because she was having trouble seeing the caller id and pressing a couple buttons when dialing on regular phones. This one is just what the doctor ordered. The buttons are large and the caller id display is readable to her now. Very good reception and clarity. I would defineately recommend this phone to anyone. I'm thinking I may get one for myself now!

deceiving ad.......2007-04-10

As far as the product goes I have no problem with the phone.
It has worked fine.
My complaint is with amazon and the deceiving ad they have.
The picture of the item shows 2 phone's.
After receiving only one phone i contacted amazon.
There comment was not our problem.
They would not do anything at all to satisfy the customer which was me.
They tried to put the blame on the retailer who I purchased it from.
I tried to explain to them they were the one's who controlled the
pictures they have posted.
They would hear of it still would not take responsibility for their
screw up and they still have not changed the pictures in the ad.

The product was exactly as described, met my needs perfectly, price was reasonable, delivery time was fantastic. I must've shopped at least 8 or 10 stores on foot - nobody had what I needed. I guess nobody else thinks of the elderly trying to use a cordless phone with those teeny-tiny little buttons. The buttons are also light-up, marked very boldly, and they have braille. Also the entire unit is larger than your average cordless unit - very comfortable and secure in an older, arthritic hand. It also vibrates and lights up very nearly like a pinball machine when it rings - all excellent qualities for an older person. Great product!

You would be hard pressed to find a better sounding pair of in wall speakers for the low price of the NX-PRO8300's. They fill my rooms very nicely, and the sound is excellent. The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that they will rattle in your drywall unless you mount them with the rough-in kit (extra charge, sold separately)
