Perfect for travelling.......2002-10-23

I travel a bit, and often take my Photosmart 100 printer with me, for those quick shots I want to share with family members. It was worth the [money] to keep everything together in the suitcase, and not have to worry about the ink door, or the paper door open accidentally and break off due to rough luggage handling.

At home, it keeps the dust off, since I don't use it everyday, and all the cables and ink and paper, sit in the proper compartments.

Fantastic quality for the money.......2007-08-22

I give them 4 stars simply to recognize that they aren't quite as good as my Focal/Martin Logan media room speakers which cost far more but they are very, very good and really pretty close to unbeatable for the money. I use them as front speakers in our high-ceilinged family room with a small Polk center channel, a Polk 10" sub and Monitor 30's in the back and they fill the space nicely with a clean, warm sound. I also really like the modernist design and the small footprint.

This is a great sounding resonable priced speaker. I like the fact it is priced as single speakers it is easier to afford that way less money to have to save up at once.I am using them with a pioneer elite set up. I am also using Polk csi3 center Polk monitor 30 rears and a Polk satilite rear center and a custom 300 watt kenwood exelon db sub it sounds great!!!! Best system I ever Had.

and then some. They really bring the home theater experience to life. To me sound has always been the bigger part of movies. A great visual display can only do so much, even on the big screen in a "real" theater, but when you feel the thunder in your belly, that's something else again.
They are clear on the high end and can handle the low ends just fine!
I'd recommend a pair of these to anyone looking to upgrade.
BTW for some reason I had to buy these on a per item basis, I did buy two, would have been silly to buy just one, unless of course I was into Sunflowers.

Works Just Fine.......2006-12-10

Used these speakers as front speakers for some time now, recently upgraded to the 70's Polk Monitor Speakers and moved them to the back of the system as the rear speakers. Totally happy with the Polk Monitors 50's and 70's. You'll probably need a subwoofer to bring these to perfection.
