The Basics

Screen, Graphics and Sound
The integrated Intel Extreme Graphics video/graphics card (with 64 MB of shared video memory) is adequate for streaming Internet video, but won't be enough for today's demanding immersive 3D games. It also features an integrated audio card and headphone, microphone, and line-in jacks.

HP a1110n.......2006-11-30

I bought this computer more than a year ago and I think it has been a pretty good computer for the price. One thing that bothered me was the noise level. I've upgraded the ram to a 1.5 Gb and its all fast now. I usually play games with it and it gets overheated but since the graphic card is only the 64Mb that came on the motherboard, I don't expect too much gaming power from it. The CPU was one of the highest out there when I got it, before Dual Core came out to be very popular.

Pavilion a1110n -- Nice..but...........2006-09-14

I've had my Pavilion a1110n for a little over a year now - and it's been a great machine -- but -- I have had a lot of problems with the Lightscribe DVD/CD burner - it worked great for about the first month - then it started getting picky. I contacted the HP helpline - several times - and they kept telling me to upload driver updates. I did this about 4 different times then I finally got pushy and insisted that they send me a NEW DVD/CD drive - it came and I installed the new drive - but it's still a little picky (refusing new disks or printing a poor image) when it comes to burning lables using lightsribe. Overall the WHOLE computer is great - but the lightscribe issue isn't all that perfect.

Clear reception but buttons too small.......2007-06-13

Initially I liked this phone. It is compact and good looking with a clear color lcd screen. The handset is a bit smaller than the other Panasonic models thus making the on/off and talk button too small even for me. I decided the voice clarity outweighed this and used it for about 2 weeks until a call came in and the answering machine picked up. I tried to pick up the line form another extension in the far end of the house but the machine did not cut off when the extension was engaged. So if I wanted to catch the person before they hung up I had to run way to the other end of the house to pick up this handset. I had to return it because this is an important issue for me. Also, if the call was for someone else they were not allowed to pick up the line from another extension. It does have talking caller id - which I did not use - and a mute ringer button that uses flashing color on the antenna which is good when people are sleeping.
If these things don't bother you and you want clear voice reception then this unit is good for that alone.

This camera is very simple to use and its minimalism is a strength. However the low resolution and frame rate at maximum resolution as well as lack of support for higher capacity SD cards (>1gb) limits it's appeal. Its also useless in low light situations. If it supported 640x480 @ 30fps and supported 2gb SD cards, it would be a five star camera.

I use it in my motorcycle, and is perfect for this.
compact size, I can attach it almost everywhere in my motorcycle body, with a 1 GB SDcadrd there's more than enough time to shoot a trip.
And very easy to plug in the tv to review the shoots.

I got this camera for use on my Yamaha Rhino while off roading. The camera does a good job taking moving video's. It has a fluid motion not a jerky one like I initially thought it would. For the money the camera does a great job.

I was able to find these locally for 59$. I picked one up to use as a helmet cam for when i go kite buggying (using a parafoil kite to power a 3 wheeled buggy across the land. lots of fun! and a great sport check out windpowersports.com for more info) Anyway, for the price this thing is great. If the resolution was a little better than 640x480 and fps was better than 15 this would be awesome. the only thing i dont like about this cam is that it has a 1gb limitation on the size of sd card you can use with it. i really wanted to get a 2gb or 4gb card for this but it looks like 1gb is the limit. the best part is that it is self contained. no wires whatsoever. the still camera is decent but not great. if youre looking for a budget helmet cam for recreational use than look no further. if youre looking for great quality resolution, you may have to spend 2x or 3x as much at least. supposedly another beefed up version of this cam will be put out by Oregon scientific soon. If they have listened to what we didnt like about this cam and they improve on it, we should have a gem on our hands.
