i'm very happy with the notebook's performance, size, ease of use, and wireless connection. burning dvd's is a little slow, and it doesn't come with dvd burning software, but comes with a dvd +rw drive. i had a sony vaio, and this is a million times better.

Overall a great machine........2004-08-30

Bought this laptop for school and have used it a week. I'm very happy overall with this product. The display is great with no dead pixels and a fairly even brightness. The Centrino processor works great and gets a strong signal. The following are the few minor cons with this system.

4200rpm drive is too slow. This thing chugs and chugs when trying to access data. For this price, 5400rpm should be standard. The cd-rom drive works fine, but when ripping music, I've experienced inconsistant speeds. Sometimes it'll read at 14x and other times it won't get over about 6x. I've also experienced the same issue as others with my fingers catching the keys when I type fast. This especially happens with the U key, where I'm hitting J, then my finger snags on the U key when I depress J. I know this sounds strange, but it's the only laptop I've experienced this with. Also, I like the touchpad, but I wish they'd used the model that's installed in Compaqs that has the divider between the touchpad and scrollpad. I find that if I'm not paying attention, my finger wanders onto the scrollpad and the mouse pointer stops moving (even worse the window I'm viewing scrolls around- annoying). Also, like most laptops, the sound is really flat and "tinny".

All of these observations are minor though, and overall I'm very happy with this machine, and feel it's worth the investment. While the drive is slow, 80gb is a nice size. While I sometimes snag the keys, the overall responsiveness is great and I can type much faster. The scrollpad thing on the touchpad mouse is very convenient. The sound is typical for most laptops, and is fine for windows sounds. If you use decent headphones, music sounds great. Overall, this is a really good machine and a sound purchase.

At first I thought I was using them wrong. I'm using them to listen to MP3s on my computer and they sound really tinny compared with the really cheap ones I was using before. Putting on the foam cover helped a little, but not much. They can be really loud. I have to turn my computer volume down to about 10% to avoid blowing out my eardrums.

I bought tham in Moscow, in August 2001... I still use them. Thay a great! The sound is so clear!!! But the design is low :( it looks like it was make 4 years ago (i think it is true) If you want to have a low design but GREAT sound, take this one... The world of point and shoot cameras is one filled with everything from children's toys to real visual tools. The Rollei 115mm camera sits in a spot near the top. Although not quite as refined as the Yashica T4, it gives the user something that the Yashica dies not-- The Rollei mark and unquestioned build quality. If you are looking for the next best thing to an SLR--look no further.

Great Titles w/1 drawback.......2000-12-31

I bought this camera in Asia and it's one of the best sellers there this summer! The feature that I love the most is the ability to select different captions other then the standard date/time for your photos. They have quotes such as i love you, thank you and happy birthday, etc. It just makes some memories more special! Rollei is a well respected brand name as well. The only drawback is the non covered lens. Other then that, this camera is a great deal for the many functions (ie. multiple exposure) that it provides for the price.

I've had my RCA for over 5 years now. Yeah, RCA's typically have a pretty sketch reputation when it comes to quality, and it's true that this won't compare with any flat-screen or HD tv, but for the price, mine has held up very well.

I've had no problems with the stereo sound...works fine for everyday tv, movie, and game use, but don't expect loud, rich bass.

Picture quality is fine; again, it's not super-sharp definition, but for everyday use it's more than enough.

Overall, if you can get it for a fraction of the price of one of the big name brand TVs, it'll work fine for most of your daily needs.

I use this to play video games, it's pretty good to use but the sound is just horrible! There is this buzz while playing, not a very reliable tv. The picture is good, all the inputs are there, overall an ok tv. Beware of sound if you really care for it.

A great camera for advance amateurs and above.......2005-04-07

If this is your first camera, you will be in trouble. Because, yes, the manual is very limited, and it has a lot of advanced features. However, this camera was not made for the beginner's market. This is my third video camera, an upgrade so that I can produce higher quality independent films. First, the 24P feature, it shoots 24 frames per second and I must say, it does look like film. It looks rather spectacular, actually. The first day I had it, I was a little overhwelmed. But, with every feature available as both automatic and manual, a little experimentation, the quality of my images has improved drastically. The 24P does take a little work and knowledge in order to make it work, but the result is well worth the time. Also, there is a spectacular user website out there with hundreds of users and experts who can help. Personally, I love that everything can operate manually, as I now am able to correct for poor lighting when shooting scenes that do not allow studio lights, like birthday parties, and the such. For a year, this was my dream camera, and once I got it, I was not disappointed. For any people out there who are considering this model, feel free to contact me, and I will either answer any questions I can or direct you to someone who can. This camera is an independent filmmaker's dream.

Heavily built, with poor design for safety and security. When placed on the wall bracket, the Pioneer Elite 43" plasma looked and worked great! Then I started to slowly tilt it forward with the proper technique per the instructions included with the Tilt Bracket made by Premier Mounts for Pioneer Electronics. It is supposed to be tilted all the way forward and then two small bolts are supposed to be inserted to ensure the wall and the TV portions of the bracket are locked together. I tilted the tv on the bracket about 3 and 1/2 inches forward and the TV fell off the bracket, lifting up enough to disengage itself from the security system of the bracket, smashed onto the fireplace mantel and down 7 feet to the bedroom floor, smashing the plasma screen into bits. Neither Pioneer nor Premier Mounts are backing up their product. This is after the agent for Premier Mounts told me that they were going to "help" me out. Their President denied this and refused to help me, not permitting his employees to call or email me back and discuss the situation. They refuse to answer any of my letters, calls or emails. I would strongly recommend never to purchase a product from Premier Mounts.
