This handsome laptop really spoils you. It's fast, has a generous 100 GB hard drive, and 1 GB RAM. Comes with a card reader that will take SD, MMC, XD, SM, and MS/Pro cards. There are two USB sockets on the left, one in back, and one on the right. The monitor is just excellent, which I can't tell from a standard crt. Startup is quick, and the whole unit's been trouble-free since I took it out of the box.

This laptop is best used as a desktop replacement as it is a bit heafty to haul around busy airports for the businessman. From the moment you first boot it up you can tell that this is the best quality laptop on the market. You'll love its snappy keyboard feel and layout, and its brightscreen display. I recommend that you get the Athlon 64 3800+ over the 3500+ if your are looking for improved multi-tasking speeds. Also, spend the extra bucks to get the 128MB graphics card if you want to get the most from games and pictures. The HP Pavilion ZV6000 laptop is simply awesome.

Before buying a Panasonic projector, check around and see whether you can get replacement lamps for it. I have been waiting over two months for a back-ordered ET-LAB10 replacement lamp to come from PC Nation. I checked around before placing the order and found that NO ONE seemed to have any in stock!!!

I suppose Panasonic puts its full production of lamps into new projectors.

Overall good TV. Guide Plus is a neat feature for regular cable, but not with satellite. Also, PIP feature basically useless with satellite. One of the video inputs hasn't worked correctly since I got it. One other little problem: When viewing tapes on the VCR, there's always a little fuzz at the top of the picture. Originally I thought it was the VCR, but I have hooked up several different VCRs and they all do the same thing, whereas when the same VCRs are hooked up to another TV, that problem doesn't happen. Has something to do with the coaxial hook-up. As far as the picture goes, it's great. Super TV for the price.

After purchasing a Canon Powershot S400 digital camera, I made 2 additional accessory purchases that have kept the camera snapping shots without fail. 1st... purchase a substantial amount of memory (Compact Flash in the case of the S400 model) I recommend 512 MB or 1 GB, to avoid having to carry several cards with less capacity. 2nd, and perhaps more importantly, keep your camera shooting with a powerful battery. The Power 2000 ACD-214 is a champ with tons of power. On average, I have been able to shoot 200+ shots (some with the fill-flash) without swapping batteries or a recharge. I have gone days on vacation or hours at a party without worry. This is an investment in "peace of mind" that you will be ready for any recordible moment.

Looks Great but Does it work?.......2002-02-07

This answering machine has two great advantages over alot of other ones: it is cute and it is small. Unfortunately the good news ends there.

Answering machines have to do two things: record messages and play them back. This one does record messages and it does play them back -- at least I think that is what it recorded. The sound quality is so bad the messages are almost impossible to decipher. After 6 months of wanting to rip it from the wall, I finally did just that and tossed it in the garbage. I replaced it with an AT&T version and I couldn't be happier. If it is cute you want, cut out the picture and hang it over your phone. It'll work about as well as the real item.

Wish I had a zero star option.
I got the first one shipped and the battery compartment
screw had a blunt head. Returned it for a new one.
Volume control know kept having loose contact and would
break the voice, and had to keep jiggling it.

they may have issues, or a hickup here and there. But to
go totally dead on you.

I am amazed Amazon carries this Piece of S***.

I new the minute I saw it I had to had to have it. I am a fan of blue, so that was the eye catcher. The price wasn't bad either. After I got it 'hooked up' and set it to working with my own message, I was thrilled. I had previously had a machine for about 10 yrs., so when it 'died' Amazon was the only place for me esp. being on the net. Anyway, it seemed to be working fine, until I tried to replay the important message I had, to my disappointment it wouldn't do that. Then I ran into the problem of not being able to hear the messages very loudly. But over all it ain't so bad.

Reliable, but poorly designed.......2001-08-09

I've had mine for about 5 months. It serves me reliably, but I've cursed at it a number of times because I think its user interface (e.g. what happens when you press the buttons, and how do you do a certain simple operation) was very poorly designed. It just takes me much longer to do what I have to with this machine than with another digital answering machine I've worked with. For example, to listen to old archived messages, one has to push the "play" button and hold.... it.... down.... for... @#!... eaons.... OK 3 seconds, but much, much too long for something this simple.
