To me, the most important feature of a cordless phone is it's clarity.

This phone sounds terrible. Static, echo, just plain cheap sounding. I don't know what else to say. Other than that, it's a great phone. I mean, it looks like a phone.

My house mate has a Uniden model (discontinued 900 Mhz analogue) and I have been searching for it's equal since. That phone is a dream. Honestly, It sounds better than even any hard wired phone I've been on. When I am on a call, If there is a brief moment of non-conversation, I sometimes think the call has been disconnected because there is absolutely no background noise. I find myself blowing into the mouthpeice to see if I am still powered! It is that good. i think i will buy a modern Uniden and hope it is as good.

I love this surge protector. I bought several to use with my refrigerator, chest freezer, washer, and home security camera. I only wished they made one large enough for my dryer. What a great buy. I bought this for my son several years ago and it is still working great. He recently bought an ipod so I inherited this player. It has several advantages over my ipod. It has replacable batteries so on long trips when the ipod dies this is still working. Its one limitation is the small internal memory, but it accepts memory chips. I transferred my entire music collection to a 2GB chip and that has worked great. Plus, my daughter now has her music on another chip, so she can use the same player in the car on trips when her ipod dies. The sound quality has been excellent. It comes with an armband holder that works well. The controls are so simple and obvious that even I can figure them out.

I bought myself a cheap little mp3 player to use for outdoor exercise and it's still going strong after a year while my friend is on his third iPod. It doesn't have the full features or speed of the name brand players but has proven to be durable with good battery life. With a 1 GB SD card I can get over 230 songs on it and a battery lasts me 3 to 4 weeks. I bought 2 more to give as presents and those people are pleased with a simple but reliable player.

Usually with new electronics, you have to install the cd and read the manual. Not for this RCA Lyra. I plugged in the usb to my computer without even installing the CD. A Windows explorer popped up labeled
'RCA Lyra'. all you have to do is drag mp3 or WMA files into it, and your good to go. It can hold 34 WMA songs without the sd card. Overall, I love this thing and i would totally recommend this to people who do not know so much about computers!
