Hard to Use + Poor Sound Quality.......2002-04-29

Bought this phone, charged it up and instantly noticed problems with the sound quality. Sound cut in and out frequently and it was hard to carry on a conversation. If the other end is another 2.4 system or a cell phone, the callee typically has a real hard time following the conversation. Also, this phone is hard to use which is apparently a typical problem with these new phones. I also really missed the 10 number speed dial. After fully charged I also found the handset very warm, almost too warm to handle. The keys are also very easy to accidently push which can cause problems if you are on the phone talking to someone. Yuck! Returned this one. I've experienced similar problems with other 2.4GHz phones, so this may be problematic for these new phones. I will probably go back to the less trendy but more reliable 900MHz phone line.

A good phone.......2002-02-13

This seems to be a very well-made phone. The reception is very clear. However, there is no speed-dialing. There is a directory to program up to 50 names alphabetically but you have to search the directory for the name and number then dial it. You cannot just program and assign 1 number to dial a number for you. I miss the speed dialing option, but being able to have a 50 name phone book built in is a nice feature.

Technically Picture Perfect!.......2001-10-18

Technically this T.V. I believe is the best of it's class. It is the same or more accurate than others in its class. Test Labs have proved this. Even though it does not have a line doubler or any anomorphic modes, it preforms more applications than any other HDTV's. Who cares if it's only 800x600 res. it's alot better than a crappy S-Video from a video card which eats up more system&grapics ram. It will be your fault for not realizing that Plug and Play can be set higher than the T.V. Max. It's Like using Linux, where you can alter just about any graphics setting and damage your monitor, because it's set beyond it's mean. Just be careful how you use the VGA 1 input, and don't use VGA 2 for the use of a computer, for it is only for High Definition input only! Logically all users must keep 800x600@60hz or 640x480@60/72hz only at all times with this Work of Art. I'm using the Creative Labs PC DVD Encore Dxr3 with extended high res. up to 1600x1200, and just think what that would look like through this T.V. at 800x600. Better than any other dvd player I can think of. I don't even use my receiver for video switching, because a direct video line is better than a switched video line. I run all my 2ch sources through my RCA to my SB Live! 5.1 and just think what you can do with that! My gosh there are too many things to do with this T.V, it is forever Endless. I will brag and recommend this Hi Res T.V. to anyone for years to come.

Beware the SVGA input!.......2001-08-09

After much hassle, finally got this TV today. Looked great for about an hour, then I tested the VGA input. Apparently, this set absolutely cannot handle anything over 800x600 without damage. It does state that the maximum resolution of the set is 800x600 in the manual....

If you've got limited desk real estate and want something to hold your documents while you're typing (keyboarding), this is awesome. The green color is sassy and a fun compliment to the original green & white iMac, or as a spicy contrast to a boring beige or black computer. Easily stores in a brief case, pocket or purse and needs no stickies to attach to a monitor.

These gizmos look like the faces of whales or sharks. You can easily affix one to your wall and either paint eyes on the wall above or affix plastic googly eyes - then this little handy gadget can serve as an attention-getting note holder.

When dad comes home and asks, "where's mom?" the kids can say, "check the note shark!"

I rarely ever go "Martha Stewart" in my house, but these gizmos look so much like shark faces, they're begging for tihs treatment!

I bought this teleconverter with a 70-300 sigma lenses and it did not mention anywhere (editorial reviews or specifications) that it is compatible with only a specific number of lenses. But the review for the nikon compatible teleconverter it does so. Make sure before you buy it that it will fit your lenses.

Nice tele converter........2002-01-28

I bought this teleconverter to supplement a 1.4x converter that I already owned. I wanted to try it out with my Canon 200mm 2.8 lens and compare the results to my 400mm 5.6 lens.

The converter is nice and compact, has a good quality feel to it, and seems to work very well. I shot one roll of film with it so far and was very happy with the results.

Remember that you lose 2 shutter stops when using this converter so it should only be used with a fast lens such as a 2.8 or 3.5 etc.
