Don't get anything from Cowon...it's a waste of money. This Mp3 palayers don't work as advertised, you don't get any technical support at all (they don't even have a phone #) and if you have a Mac forget about upgrading a firmware. You need a PC anyway, but of course they won't tell you that. Instead they say "Mac compatible"....
My first unit wasn't working after 1 week and they wanted to replace it with a REFURBISHED one.....I had to fight to get a new one.
Stay away from them, for the same price you better get an I-pod or something like that....

great little portable MP3.......2007-04-25

There's not much I can say that is critical. My needs are simple and ease-of-use is key. This iAudio meets both. It is sleek, cool looking, offers great sound and enough storage for my purposes. Music files are easy to transfer/download and the fuctionality is great. The sound it produces is more than satisfactory. I highly recommend. Good value for the money.

very good sound and battery life.......2007-01-11

I thought this player would be like many others in the market and I found i was wrong. I bought an iAudio with 2Gb of flash memory and this player has all i need: voice recorder, line-in recorder with live-mp3 encoding with lots of bitrates 8 kb/s, 16, 32 kb/s WAV and 64, 96 and 128 kb/s for mp3 format. Also you can start listening to music before going to bed and set the time for auto-shut down. Also it can be set up for waking up mode and it start playing at the time you specify. I found the transparent plastic case pretty good but unfortunatelly this kind of player does not come with arm-band. The necklace is pretty good and useful. The sound quality is perfect and has a lot of functions to improve the listening. Very good audio-output and the quality of the earphones. Highly recomended for those who want to carry with your files and music all-in-one. Batery life is pretty good. Perhaps the volume keys should be placed on player's side instead of using the joystick-key. Hold key very accesible and easy to reach and difficult to accidentally turn on/off.

Great player, good price.......2007-01-07

I've had this player for 3 months, and it has served me well so far. I won't waste your time telling about its positive features - everything you read in the ad about sound QA, battery life etc. appears to be true.

I actually haven't used the unit for much more than playing music when on the move - and for that the iAudio is perfect. The more advanced options (voice or radio recording, music alarm +++) - may actually prove useful some day, who knows.

On the negative side: The radio is not too good. You're only able to play radio stations with a quite strong/clear signal. In my opinion, this is common for most radios that use the headphone cord as antenna. Within that restriction, the radio works OK: Let the unit scan for signals, and it will only find the stations with strongest signals - and you can listen to those with acceptable result. But if your favourite station does not have a particulary strong signal, listening to it will be a pain.

And of course: Get a good set of headphones (or better plugs?) with the player! I hate plugs, so I can't really jugde those that come with the player, but they probably aren't the best around.

Great, Super-Portable Player.......2006-12-25

This was my first MP3 player. My main criteria was that it have no moving parts (i.e. hard drives), be at least 1 GB, and have bookmarking capability. The iAudio G3 most definitely met and exceeded those criteria.

Being a podcast listener, I love the fact that the G3 has bookmarking so I can stop listening to something in the middle of it and find my place again with no trouble at all. It also can auto-resume when you turn it off in the middle of something.

The interface is easy to navigate and the joystick control is solid.

Additionally, when I inadvertently broke the play/power button on the player, Cowon was very helpful in getting it fixed and back to me within a couple of weeks.

This was a great buy when I bought it, though it was only $150 then. I would still buy it at this price ($180 at the time of this writing). If and when this awesome player breaks down or I lose it, I will probably buy it again. If it is out of production at that point, I would certainly buy another iAudio Flash Player.

Skips Way Too Much.......2005-01-25

When I first bought this discman, it worked great. All it ever does is skip now. Total waste of money.

As far as portable CD players go, this (so far) is one of the better ones I've had -- and, I've had a few. I'd gotten use to the fact these items weren't made to last, but I think this one has change my thinking a little. I've had it for about a year, use it everyday. It's been bumped and dropped (hard too, while on a treadmill); has been in extreme cold and hot conditions - and it's still performs well. The Advanced Anti-Skip Protection is the best. But, the the thing I like most about this CD player is that it doesn't "suck-up" batteries like most others do. I've had the batteries in for 2, sometimes 3 weeks at a time...and even with very little juice (as the battery indicator will show)it still gives me a little bit more power...I love it!!! The headset is the only thing didn't endure but, it was a nice size and weight while it lasted. I am more than satisfied with my RCA CD player and very highly recommend it.

I have had this CD player for two years. In the first year, I was very happy with it. It had good bass, nothing could make it skip, and everything worked wonderfully. However, in the second year, things started to happen. First, the anti-skip disappeared. Then, the buttons reversed. Finally, two weeks ago, I dropped it from a height of FOUR INCHES. Now, the tone is often completely off if it is held in certain positions, and there is annoying background noise somtimes. This seems to be a good CD player at first - but it has no durability or lifespan. Get something else.

Waste of Money.......2002-12-26

This product is not durable, breaks easily and eats your batteries! Mine failed to work and can no longer read the cds, they spin with no sound. The buttons do as someone mentioned, get confused-- it goes back a song instead of going forward. Save your money and buy something else!

it works decently and has a nice bass. but it does skip excessively at every little touch so not very effective for jogging or for cars. it does make noises while it plays but it's not too loud.

Best Flex Wrist Rest.......2007-02-28

This is the best wrist rest.

As wrist rests go, this wrist rest must exist as best.

It is billed as a "flex" wrist rest. As such, the reviewer must defer to the manufacturer's best judgment, because this wrist rest does list (in my case, it lists to the right). I do find that the odor emitted by the new wrist rest is not the best, but you do get used to it.

Should a user get used to the wrist rest smell, though, the user used to the best flex wrist rest's existing smell is rewarded.

So, to sum up, here we have the best right-listing flex wrist rest that exists.

Just kidding. I borrowed it. Long term. Really. GRIN. Anyway, I like the fellowes gel pad. I use it in conjunction with the vertical mouse. It has a nice smooth, but firm feel which cushions my arm as I use my mouse. It has a slightly tacky base which helps it stay put when I move my arm around. It also is quite attractive color. In short, it works great. 5 stars.
