Amazing quality for an 18" LCD monitor. As expected from long time monitor manufacturer NEC-Mitsubishi. I used a Samsung 17" LCD before and there was flickering and unstable video mode and requires driver CD. This one is truly plug-and-play. No driver, no tuning, just work. Crispy, high contrast, even have DVI for 2nd PC for switching on the fly. Highly recommended.

Good Picture, Noisy, Bad Interface.......2006-11-23
I bought this monitor in 2003. The picture is fine but the monitor has a high pitched whine. This sound is very irritating and I find that after so long it's affecting my hearing. The controls are hard to see, especially in low lighting, and there are 8 buttons that all look the same so you have to go through a process of trial and error to adjust it every time. If you just care about the video quality though, this is ok for that. As for me, I'm looking now for something that makes little to no noise and I would suggest you look for something that doesn't make this noise.
trouble-free ownership experience.......2004-09-03
I bought my NEC 1860NX over a year ago. Setting it up was easy, it has no problems staying in whatever position you set it - the hinges and bushings in the base are quite solid.
One problem many people have with LCDs is dead pixels. Mine has none, and has continued to have the same great picture quality as it had when I first got it, even after packing it back up and shipping it when I moved to Seattle.
One of the most appealing aspects of this monitor is that you simply don't notice it. It is comfortable for viewing with the room lights on or off, and honestly I've never had to tweak the monitor settings after I set it up initially.
The price on this one hasn't really fallen much since I bought it, but I still consider it to be worth it. You're getting an excellent deal, considering the peace of mind that comes with the high-quality product.

The display is crisp and bright. Graphics look great via the VGA or the DVI input from my 9600XT video card.

This modem has one advantage and thats the proprietory ReadDSL Technology used by Paradyne. Other than that its firmware, feature set and support are pathetic.
If you are locked into connecting to Paradyne/Zhone equipment using ReachDSL this modem is what you need, otherwise try other brands like Netgear or Dlink for more features, better interface, firmware stabilty and online support.

Works very well with FreeBSD, Linux and Windows without problems.
When booting up, the monitor is recognized inmediately by the OS, without drivers to load,
because it conforms the svga standard specs incorporated in these operative systems.
The brightness and constrast are very good. Excellent Response Time.
The building materials are of good quality, its structure is very solid,
finished very well and its appearance is really nice and professional.
Although the power LED is excessively bright that distracts the view,
but it is easy to solve with a aluminum paper tape on the LED
The speakers sounds sufficient for personal use, the acoustics is a little low,
but tolerable..

All of the listed features of this unit WOULD have been great,if only it had clear sound. I purchased the orange (actually yellow) version (RP2443) of this unit after checking out all the specs on the RCA website. In theory, a great machine. But as soon as I fired it up, I was greeted with background hiss and fluctuating static sounds. I frowned, changed discs, and got the same. I changed headphones - same results. What's the point of using a CD player? I got results like this from audio cassette. Tomorrow, I'll be returning it and try a different product. A frustrating waste of time.

I bought 6 of these for traveling LCD projectors for the office and everyone LOVES them. Great size, never have to worry about it coming open, plenty of room and more than one way to carry.
My only caution has nothing to do with the bag. Do NOT buy it from Adorama Camera. Unfortunately, this was not an option at the time I ordered. Bad customer service. They told me they had enough bags but when they arrived I only received half my order along with a note that the others were backordered. Oh, and by the way, they would be on vacation for the majority of the next few weeks. No notice of when I would receive the rest of my order. I called in on one of the days they were open only to be told that no one could help me because the department I needed was still on vacation. I ended up having to run out to a local camera store as the bags were needed for a trade show though I had placed the original order in plenty of time.

This bag is fantastic for my JVC digital vid cam and all of its accessories. I could also easily fit a small digital still camera with its own accessories in the same bag with room to spare. I highly recommend this bag for your small digicam needs.
Plenty rooms and Easy to Use.......2001-05-19
I find this very easy to use and has plenty of rooms for wallet, extra films and etc. It has pockets, zippers, scrap shoulder, handler and belt but you have to wear a belt which is why I gave them four stars. I can use my digital camera and regular compact camera in it. This bag looks like a purse. You can take it with you anywhere you want to go. It's very light to carry on. I like it very much! One thing that I am disappoint was belt. The material is pretty good too.
Plenty Rooms and easy to use!.......2001-05-19
I ordered this a while ago and find it very roomy for two camaras such as digital camara and other regular compact camara too. This bag looks like a purse and has plenty rooms for almost everything that you could fill in such as wallet, cigarette, extra films. It has alot of pocket holders there, handler, scrap shoulder and belt holder but you have to wear a belt to hold it up. That is one thing that I am disappoint. It was worth to use for boat, shore, concert and anywhere you go. I like it very much!
